Coming to this game from monster hunter and I thought I was gonna cheese this game.😮 Way different mechanics.
Yes definitely way different mechanics. That has to be quite the culture shock coming from monster hunter to this! How are you liking it so far?
It looks like dodging is a big thing so I assume I'm gonna need to get my weight to medium so I can dodge normally
It would be a good idea to try out medium weight and use dodging. I also will say blocking is very powerful if done right and i totally stayed away from blocking in exchange for 2 handing, which probably was a mistake.
So in short, try medium with rolling and medium with a good shield for blocking and see what you like more.
just wondering what other area you went to as this game is fairly linear.
After beating the congregator boss there will be a new npc in skyrest. He gives you a fief key, then go to back to the windmill vestige and unlock the tall gate. Youre welcome freak face
This area was super frustrating for me. Way worse than Blighttown, especially with having to do all the umbral stuff. That's for the video man, I'm getting Pietas sword now and trying the throwables cause my faith stuff isn't doing anything to this guy. Almost took him out 2nd attempt but I got greedy.
