Your analysis videos are the best! The work you put into them really shows: The POV changes, the slow-mo, discussing alternative scenarios and of course your understanding of the game all come together. Definitely glad that you want to do more of these!
I love this! I've never played Quake competitively, but I was able to follow much of what was going on because of this awesome analysis! You've got another subscriber : )
This is great, very interesting and I don't play Quake! I would have liked there to have been text somewhere telling me which player we were watching, and text or even possibly black and white for the replays.
@5:55 I'd possibly have moved too after holding my rail in a position I could be peeked from several places - It's a good position in the sense that you see everything, but it's also bad in the fact that Cypher could pop from somewhere and hit a quick rail maybe? Dunno, I just don't feel safe if I'm not moving heh
Rapha's passive approach at the end probably has a lot to do with his knowledge of cypher's innate ability to inflict lots of damage without taking any. You can never be too sure and I agree with rapha's approach there.

Wow Twister has it's own channel. Didn't know, subbed!

Just no more videos :( Actualy where is Twister?
Nice to see you put out another video! And a great one at that.
Watching this in late 2018, very interesting insight

Your analysis was always the best mate. It would be great if you ever did some more of more recent quakelive matches up until 2016 👍👍👍

This was great.

He is twister, the one and only.
Revive Quake Live
hello! this cfg is video for the cypher?
Clayton Domingues on cyphers view its cyphers config, on raphas view its raphas config (old configs from 2011)
Why is the field of view so low?
I used the same fov as the players during the tournament.
rtcwtwister Wow, I didn't think they would be using settings that low. That looks like less than 90 to me.
kered13 yep many pros use low fov, even 90. I think Rapha is one of the few that uses over 100. 103 or 106 i think
Dimitri Pappas ha thx fixed
rtcwtwister optimal for performing well ingame, but not for spectating. this combined with texture detail almost made me puke
