What a wonderful God we serve! I'm so thankful for the Holy Spirit and for God's word to give us insight into just how loving and marvelous His grace and mercy are to show us Himself. For John Piper..."they are they noble ones in whom is my delight". :)

My name is Connor Campbell. I live in the city of Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. where abouts in Northern Ireland was alex's mission team serving. Why did God Lead him here? Is his sister still serving/planning to serve here in Northern Ireland? My wee country needs people who LOVE JESUS, to lead my people to JESUS. +John Stewart, why did you make that statement? Have you not learned how to discern and judge those in The BODY and what communicate? To tell someone, anyone, what you just did, in the spirit you just did, is hateful and not at all from The HOLY SPIRIT. The words that you wrote could be used to point someone to "JESUS", and that is the single most beautiful thing we can do, when done in The SPIRIT of LOVE and TRUTH. However, you used it as a rebuke, without giving Any... well, any substance at all! One quick example, if it were true that i was not saved by JESUS, i would have no idea what you mean, nor did you provide Any direction in following YOUR COMMAND (note: i only say YOUR Command, because of the context and the way YOU GAVE that Command with nothing else, which was NEVER done by my KING, LORD, and GOD, or Any of HIS Followers, Anywhere in Holy Scripture). If you are a Christian, We do not conduct ourselves in that fashion. If you believe that someone really is not saved, do not rebuke them like that. Do what my MASTER YESHUA (JESUS) and HIS Apostles Command and did. Nothing about that was Holy; quite the opposite. Christians are not hateful. YHWH manifests the fruits of The SPIRIT Of HOLINESS in and through Us! All rebuke is to be given by Holy Scripture. The statement you made is out of line, and as it was an open rebuke, it needs to be openly retracted. If you name "JESUS" as LORD (YHWH), you need to repent of making that arrogant statement toward me and my MASTER JESUS; JESUS Says that what you do to me, you do to HIM, and what you do not do for me, you do not do for HIM. Your statement does not help you, nor edify me, nor edify the Brethren, and is quite uninformed. Study to show yourself approved friend. Please read Isaiah 6 where Isaiah saw YHWH of Hosts, and cross ref. John 12 (John 12:41 i believe off the top of my head). Who does The Inspired Apostle John (meaning The HOLY SPIRIT Inspired John to write this infallibly, without any error) say that Isaiah saw? John identifies YHWH as YESHUA Ha-MASHIAC/ JESUS The CHRIST prior to incarnation. i did read the "about" you section in your profile prior to writing this. i suggest you read mine, that was written long ago and by the Grace of YESHUA have grown much since, although i'm sure that what is in my "about" still holds very true. i read in your profile that you love the reformed doctrine. Well friend, i am a reformer. If to be boxed in, i am a Puritan, constantly reforming; although i myself claim only: i am a slave of YESHUA. "YESHUA" IS JESUS' Real Name. Does YESHUA mean YHWH Saves? i leave you with this: The MASTER says many things that pertain to this, and HE was like - why do you call ME MASTER and do not obey MY Commands!?! i have wrote this to edify you and build you up in the faith once and for all delivered to †he Saints and i will pray for you right now. Please check information before you make such an attempt to correct a Brother. That is an incorrect attempt to correct The Covenant Name of The LORD, Ha- SHEM - YHWH Is The. i can show you " πוπי " YHWH all throughout the Holy Scriptures. Where do you see Jehovah?
Please look into the Hebrew before you tell all these people the wrong name.

I would ask for proof from the Hebrew that the capitalized text of the name LORD in the English translation specifically the ESV which Dr. Piper was using and the very word in the Hebrew text is not the Hebrew word Yhovah or yeh-ho-vaw which in most lexicons means the Jewish national name of God and denoted the self-existent or eternal.

+lbotnx2 I have not missed the great point that Dr. Piper has made in this sermon or above all that that God has given us through His Word. My only point was very simple. Dr. Piper who is a good but fallible man made a simple translation mistake that's all. I never attacked nor tried to say Dr. Piper's exegesis was incorrect. Believe me after almost 20 years in Gospel ministry I will freely admit that I have made translation errors and thank God for His mercy and grace in the midst of our finite feebleness and humanity.
