Matt was one of the first vocalists to get me into heavy vocals. I remember the first time I heard 'An Everyday Guide to Audio Atrocity,' I was floored and didn't bands could sound like that. RIP Matt.
Matt was one of my favorite vocalists as well. All their music was outstanding. I was lucky enough to see their last tour before calling it quits.

Why have I never heard of this band before? This is incredible stuff. I was very ingrained in early 2000's nu metal but somehow....I'm just at a loss of words.
Well this is that type of band that is not that well known eventhough they are really good!
I miss the old NF forums. So many NF stories. RIP Matt.
First saw them opening up for pantera. They made me a fan that night loved them ever since.

Vastly underated. I first heard Bleeder on the Kerrang cd I think it had Linkin park 'With You' and Miocene 'Fits like this. Violence and Skelton's are super good albums. Pacifier is very groove doom🤘

What an underrated band! One of my favorites! I remember having a conversation with Tom Maxwell years before Hellyeah. He told me him and Chad Gray from Mudvayne were talking about starting a side project called “Cold White Christ”. That never materialized but it turned into Hellyeah. It was cool to hang with these guys.
Skeletons is my favorite album from those guys, such a great band. I absolutely loved Matt's voice. So sad that he passed away.

Went to this show at the holly wood palladium, same tour. So incredibly lucky to have seen them.

Don't get me wrong, Skeletons is a great album, but it really is a shame how the band more or less fell apart after this era. I would have loved to see a progression of this sound. If only Matt and Tom could have resolved their differences, then we could have at least gotten record number 5... what could have been...
After Skeletons they toyed with kind of fusing Violence and Skeletons’ sound, but didn’t finish enough songs for an album… check out Walking on Bodies, and Let it Burn

Yes! Chris basically made plenty of riffs during pre-Skeletons era, hence his departure from band was heard in quite conspicuous shift in regards to riffage i. I'd venture a guess that Maxwell felt sort of liberated when Houck left NF.
@@Nekkkron33 I didn't know that, but i i suspected so, because except for Skeletons, NF always had songs with odd beat timing. Skeletons were the album that brought me to NF, but qickly became my least favourite.

No disrespect to Hatebreed but at this specific show, I can't imagine anyone walking out of this club and not thinking Nothingface was the stand-out act. The sound on this video is terrible and I can still feel every moment.
I saw them many times and they were usually ignored for the follow up bands. I never understood it?
