This is a beautiful song. I'm literally crying, I cant believe someone in the current day made a song that recreated my soulful feelings for 80s movies/music.
Its definitely that homage to the 80s movie ending, where the group of teens can reminisce their time in the present. Where the guy/girl finally get together after going through a fantastical adventure. Where everything is dreamy and perfect. Where the future is limitless. Where they can just be.
Look for all new retro wave bands. They are dedicated to honor the 80's with their music and videos. Most of them use 80's cartoons, movies, series and tunes. This is simply beautiful

Not sure if you ever got an answer so just in case....New Kids on the Block are the guys and I am not sure about the blonde chick but maybe Debbie Gibson? Don't quote me on that. I know some of the NKOTB footage is from their home video "Hangin' Tough".
Dude, my sister loved them and had ALL their swag so I ended up knowing way more about them then most. Plus I dig their sound. Now I know why....so 30 years later I can explain to somebody who may never actually read this how I know about New Kids on the Block.
Just to add, there is also footage of Corey Haim on keyboards at the beginning and other clips. Yes it is mainly NKOTB and Debbie Gibson would make sense as she is blonde and was big around the same time or a bit before, but just saw another comment saying the main lady is Collette, from the ring my bell video
