  • 15 year old Genesis shares her journey of reconnecting with Fiji and her identify as a Fijian through the ocean and a recent trip she made to her grandmother’s village.
    She challenges us all to discover more meaningful connections and greater sense of purpose in our lives.
    15 year old Genesis Selina is lives in Sydney, Australia and is an aspiring film director of Fijian heritage who has been making short films on her computer since she was in the seventh grade.
    In 2016, her first major body of work, the short film Boy Strikes Back, was selected for the Pasifika Film Festival, making her the youngest screenwriter and director at the film festival and the only Fijian entrant. Boy Strikes Back screened in Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Wellington.

    Good work.. stepping stone to building your public speaking skills.. One recommendation would be to probably change in pitch or tone or have variation. Its also good to see that you have not forgotten your roots, I admire youths like you that have not let go of their identity and place of origin you are indeed a role model for others.. keep it up and well don..

      Keep your negative comments to yourself - you don't know Genesis and have no right to label her according to your own narrow-mindedness. Surely you have better things to do than to leave negative comments on RUclips about Fijian children.
