Thank you for your support!
Lea Salonga grew up in the musical world. As a child, she played the singing role of orphan Annie, and her career grew from local repertory theatre to London’s West End and to The Big Apple’s Broadway musicals. As an Olivier and Tony awardee, she is today a respected icon of her craft. The world salutes her.
She's the only singer i know nearly impossible to fail a note
She has the best accent and enunciation!
She studied english pronounciations.
Her accent suddenly change according to the people who talking to her just watch her interview and you would notice her accent change
I just remember when sarah Geronimo said in the voice that I am just like this (being humble). When Lea Salonga said excuse me what? What is your name again? 😊 she has so much respect to Sarah Geronimo. Which made me love Lea Salonga Even more. She is really good in her craft we love Lea!
..she won Best Actress in a Musical in London's Olivier Awards and in Broadway's Tony Awards...prior to that she also won the same at the World Theater Awards and Drama Desk Awards...Shes a total performer..
Lea Salonga's vibrato separates her from human singers to her kind which ate deities.
Her English is impecabble. Hers is International Phonetically Correct.
Crystal clear voice, intelligence in singing and amazing facial reactions
I could'nt agree more! I am in awe of her. ❣️
and clear as a bell!
If there's anything I wish to adapt from Lea, it's to be International Phonetically Correct. 🙌😆
She imitates.
I’m a fan... even before she became known internationally. Proud Filipina here..😇
Lea Salonga is a legend in the field of Philippine music .
Uhm not only in the Philippines.. but worldwide!
She is without doubt an all time global legend, the Philippines can be extremely proud
She studied in one of the prestigious Montessori in the phil.whose diction is primary priority and she grew up with a class A family..
Just an info.. The Maestro on her back is her brother, Gerard Salonga..
What place? Manila or other country?

Wow the way you reacted on how she acted. 👍
Thank you "po" could use to all genders. "Po" is a sign of respect.
She just showed how simplicity can be powerful.. She's a smart and beautiful woman.
She's telling the emotion and the story of the song whenever she sing.
Bravo Lea. You really sings with clarity & with perfections. Every word you sing is with proper meaning & emotions to it, You are really one of a Kind. Thanks Coach Yazik fr. Manila.
She’s also a Disney Legend, in case you don’t know. 👑♥️
2k more for 100k subscribers. Your channel is growing. I’m happy for you.
Lea’s diction is really crystal clear that you would‘ not need subtitle. She’s amazing.
She is Broadway's Tony Awardee. It speaks volume.
Ah Lea, just like Regine both are regarded as National Artists of the Philippines and the most exalted singers of the country.
True...
She's the best Filipina singer..
Thanks for reacting her video.
Lea is my fave hands down from all our Philippine singers. Such a legend! She inspires me since i was a kid. 🙏🏽💗
Salamat po sir Yazik..."po" is a gesture of respect here regardless of the gender..
I love how you pointed out her acting, you made me notice things that you weren't even pointing out, cause I started looking for things myself.
I always love the way you react.. You're always mindful of their expressions and voices.. Thank you po for being so true on all your reactions..
Great reaction sir Yazik..specifically the acting details in her singing..it's like storytelling..she always transforms into the persona of the song which is great..though very theatrical but is really great..she also has a version of I Dreamed A Dream...
I love your reaction on one of Lea's great performances. You are very sincere, I can feel that every word you say is coming from the heart. Cześć!😊
Such articulate critique ..only shows that this guy knows what he is talking and what he is looking for in an artist.
Ms perfectionist😊😊every time i watched her concert, goosebump!!! Very crystal voice
Great review. Lea has been an excellent performer for years.
When Lea Salonga sings, she becomes the song and it’s beyond impressive!
"Po".. Is both for men and women,to show respect to the person whom you are talking to..that's one way on how we show respect to the person we are talking to, here in the Philippines. Thank you so much my friend to your honest and pleasant Reaction..lots of love here, from the Philippines!
I like the way you commend you're not only focussing on the singers buy instead the total package from emotion diction and the way the singers thrown the words... nice one.. thank you for loving my country and the artists.. i love you YAZIK and GOD BLESS..
Wow, ilove the soft, smooth voice of Lea Salonga. So relaxing💕🤗🍯
Thank you for this!!
I love Lea so much!!😍
a very good evaluation/ reaction to Miss Salonga's facial expression..you are intelligent and well versed in giving a reaction.
fyi, this song was sang by the character of former argentinian first lady eva peron, at the height of her power, in the play/movie “evita”. this was sang in the balcony overlooking the plaza when protest on corruption against the peron government was already intensifying and eva was trying to pacify her public, hence there is this “and as for fortune and as for fame... i never invited them in, even though to the world, they were all i desired.” this is a very political song and a classic one at that. please...
This woman Lea Salonga imitates, she's too amateurist and boring.
like she
I remember this scene. This is why I love this song so much way back. 😍😍😍😍
bb89670 basher spotted
@@bb89670 wow you are so bitter. Im sure you cant perform it like what she did. You know nothing about music. Fyi she is the original disney singer of the whole new world. She is a legend, never underestimate her.✌
@bb89670
Saying "PO" is just a respect to those who older than you. NotHING specific gender whom to address the word "PO"...
Wow,everything u said was true about her...and what i really appreciate and liked about u sir yazik is that u choose ur words and u respect other artist as well...god bless u more!..im a fan now
Thank you 🤝
Pi totally agree with all your comments. She sings to express, not to impress. So, she tells a story whenever she sings... That's why she is so good in stage, esp. on Broadway.
"Po" is a Tagalog term
used by Filipinos as a sign of respect to elders, anyone older than yourself, to authorities even younger than you especially your boss and to anybody whom you pay due respect.
Thank you is Salamat.
Salanat po is said when you thank a person with due respect.
Her voice should be sampled and stored in Sèvres as a pattern. Pure perfection!
Hi Yazik! Thank you po! Yes, it can be said to both male and female. "po" is being added to pay respect. I always love your reactions.
I like your reviews and reactions Yazik❤️
Thank you for always featuring Lea Salonga...she is indeed a great artist..simply one of a kind👍
This song was just a part of her long concert with her brother Gerald conducting the orchestra. Thanks.
Thanks for a great reaction. She is amazing. I remember her in Aladdin. I am proud of her.
She was also in Mulan
Alongside REGINE VELASQUEZ, LEA SALONGA are the unrivaled QUEENS of Philippine music!
React to "Lea Salonga rehearsing Still Hurting from The Last 5 Years", please!
She’s the “the lady” judge you were referring to at your reaction on the voice blind audition of moressette
I love the way you noticing the facial expression and the acting she delivers which really makes me realise it also.....
Love Lea's version of this! Also Nicole Scherzinger's version too! World class!
And both are Filipinos. Lea a pure blooded one while Nicole is half Ukrainian, half Filipino that was raised in Hawaii.
"Po" is in general what ever the age idol.
you still so bubbly... makes me think you just had a good wne somehow. THANK YOU for this reaction. Lea is a legend- Just her singing- is wonderful....
lEA REALLY PERSONIFIES THE POLITICIAN'S WIFE, Evita Peron, TRYING TO CONVINCE HER PEOPLE FOR her husband PERON... not overdone, just perfect! thank you.
BTW, "po" is pronounced with harder "o", not rounded. ty
Miss Salonga is one of the best.
Hello coach . Its really good to listen pitch perfect song Someone Else's Story . You will love her looks and reactions . Leah is one of the best singer in the country
Thank you Yazik for reacting to this performance. Appreciate it.
Hey Yazik, can't wait for that future plans that you're saying. Btw, we use "po" when we we're talking to elders. This is one way to talk to someone with respect.
We hope you can react to the rendition of SB19's "Bakit Ba Ikaw" in Myx Live. It's currently in the trending list so I hope you can watch it with us. It's Michael Pangilinan's song but the group put a twist in their version. I bet you'll not regret it. I can't wait to see your reaction. Kudos to your channel!
Thank you po.. PO can be used for everyone as a sign of pure respect upon answering or just simply ending something that you just have said like Thank you po.. FYI, the conductor that Lea Salonga is working here with is her younger brother Gerald.. Lea is a gem.. thank you po for appreciating her..
Her conductor is her brother Gerald Salonga
It’s Gerard. Not Gerald. :)))
Please react to her rendition of "I don't know how to love Him", Carnegie Hall concert. Thank you.
Glad to hear you using PO. It is an expression of respect, of courtesy. And OPO, a contraction of oo and po. Oo means YES.
When I look at reaction videos, I always go to your channel because you look and sound credible--please keep making videos
Her English and diction are perfect .
When Lea solonga is singing, it's like as if she's giving a speech like she's telling a story.
I believe story telling is a feature of musical theater.
you should react to Lea Sang "Two Words" in her Wedding ,, so beautiful
Excellent clarity and rendition of the song.
Her This is Me pleaseee. She did great belts in their which Lea rarely does.
Yes.. thank you for reacting to this. 💜💜
Go go go go Yasik... Happy New year and Good luck.
She is a great artist of all time...🎻🎶
She has been performing since age 7.
Salamat po Yazik, thank you po! ❤
I think "Don't cry for me Argentina" is an OST sang by Madonna in the film/movie Evita Peron.
Actually.. "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" is from the Musical "Evita" ... The show pre-dates the movie which was first performed in 1978 while the film adaptation with Madonna playing the role of Eva Peron was in 1996
I like the way you react. You try to qualify whatever comment you have to say. I idolize the way you dissect each single lyric of the song the emotion portrayed by the singer/artist. You enjoy your craft so much. I’m one of your fans Yazik. From the Philippines 🇩🇯
The conductor is her younger brother Maestro Gerard Salonga, the conductor for Sydney Opera Orchestra
I enjoyed and love your analysis Mr Yazik. Lea was and still my one of the few great artists in the whole wide world whom I look up to and have the highest respect when it comes to singing.
Bonne Année 'po',
from a Pinoy somewhere in the South of France
Dude you like give the best technical analysis and yet the funniest adlibs. I ended up watching most of your reviews. Hahah
Dafuk, why am I having goosebumps?!
The Musical Conductor is Lea's younger and only brother
Yazik. You know that's her brother .. the music conductor.. in every concert or any musical theater she has to do.
Wow! I didnt know that 💪thank you for this comment 🤝
THE FIRST FILIPINO TO WIN A TONI...
SHES A PHILIPPINES LEGEND

SHE IS IN THE LEAGUE OF PRESIDENTS AND AMBASSADORS
SHES SO IMPORTANT...
This is the song, attributed to The First Lady of Argentina Evita Peron When his husband the President was dethroned from office . There was a movie titled Evita Peron in 1980s. Where this was sung.
