Probably the best package for a C6 Z06 as far as drivability. I still daily my 2010 with 691whp and it's a handful if I get stupid or caught in bad weather. Anytime I hear people saying they want 1,000hp (or more) in one of these I wonder if they've got their life insurance up to date. Another great post. Cheers.
I’ve had a 5th gen Camaro at 620whp. At almost 4,000 pounds that car is scary, I couldn’t imagine a 3100lb with that kind of power. Let alone 1,000hp.

These are awesome cars. My Dad has a 2009 Z06 that he purchased new. Only has 2k miles on it.. Keeps it in the basement with a cover on it lol.

@@rclova7474 he’s in his 80’s. He will get it out every now and then but only on a sunny day. It’s never seen the rain.
He really should drive that car more while he's still here.
Also, letting a car (or motorcycle) sit for long periods, like this one, is not good. It will cause flat spots on the tires as well as certain bearings. The oil will slowly drain off components that need it (cylinder walls/pistons, cam, etc) and then when you go to start it after a very long while there will be insufficient lubrication causing excess wear. Honestly, seeing cars with a number of years on them and very low mileage like this is not a good deal when wanting to buy, due to the issues stated.
Tell him to get in it and rip it! These cars are not rare collectables anyway.

Wow love what you do with these Corvettes!!! I have a 2013 60th anniversary 427. GM only made this car one year. So it has the LS7 engine but ZR1 suspension and carbon fiber hood and fenders. Only came in a convertible. I’m looking to have you do this for my Corvette in Cyber Gray Metallic with 29K miles. Only mod is the Callaway short shift package. I am concerned about the values as we see this often on RUclips videos.

No, wheel horsepower and fly wheel hp aren’t the same. They’ve been very clear their hp claims are rough estimates of the fly wheel hp. Cars typically lose 10-15 % power between wheel hp and fly wheel hp but all cars vary.

To make 700 rwhp it needs to make around 825 or so to the crank given about a 15% drive train loss on a manual
