There is no margiela here, only galliano and his interpretation is very "cotton candy" who pretends to present like deconstruction but it's not.

Extremely 'of the moment' and chic. Galliano is a genius. His design philosophy with Margiela is completely unique, just like his clothes for Dior, Givenchy, and his own brand are all different from each other. 'Deconstruction' has been done so much in fashion at this point, but nobody does it quite as well as Galliano. After all, this is the same person who designed the Fall 2005 Dior Couture collection with those exquisite half-finished gowns. The styling here is intriguing, excessive, and even strange at times, but you can almost always break it down to totally wearable pieces. It's fresh and beautiful.

I'm not the biggest fan of Anna Wintour but I agree John Galliano is in a class by himself- always eclectic and exciting. He definitely deserved another chance. I don't wanna be an apologist for anti-semitism and bad behavior But I've probably said something I wish I hadn't when I was drunk. Not an excuse but just sayin. "You are more than the worst thing you've ever done."

I have loved Martin Maison Margiela - before John Galliano came in - and I find it hard getting over this transition. John Galliano is one of those designers who is so daring, almost too daring, that pieces are either a hit or miss. When it was Martin Maison Margiela, every piece was a hit.
