Leon's walk never boring
Just brilliant, this is John and Margiela at it's very best. Leon's coat, OMG I love it, some fabulous shoes too and in with the styling and theatre beautifully crafted pieces - made with love. For me John has always brought such excitement and (a now horribly overused word) real passion and a love of the craft to the fashion world. Always the one to watch.. now along with Schiaparelli and on a good day Balenciaga + Mcqueen when Lee was alive + Tom Ford on a good day

its not NEW but better and different than others. xD
U can tell when JOHN GALLIANO IS IN HIS ELEMENT .. that last model’s walk was the overtop selling that I miss from the height of johns time at we all know where… and that trench coat with the oil drip was sickening .. who layers and plays this well with textures or references like him nobody … this collection feels like stuff he did when he designed for his name brand

I like that models ARE ALLOWED to be individualistic and embody a personality that reflects the aesthetic of the clothes, now most designers want tall thin feminine male models, fat female models or models who have zero expression on their faces and just walk stiffy and quickly. Designers killed the fashion model, so why use models if you don't let them be the star as much as your clothes ? Just show your clothes on a rack then. Or an actual plastic mannequin. Nothing worse than living models told to look and walk like zombies. Galliano is one of the few designers who allow the models to shine too, Jacqemus is another one and Jeremy Scott.
