Best fishing channel on YT hands down. I love the fact, that your videos are pure fishing. No tackle and gear showing off. No claims, that we need expensive gear to even catch a fish. We all know who is working with you and providing you with tackle but product placement is very decent. It is like back to roots fishing for me. Keep up great work guys.

Absolutely love your videos guys! Been wanting to get into carp fishing for months and after binging a bunch of your videos I finally pulled the trigger and got some rods and stuff! Got my first fish out the water last weekend and weighed in at a little over 7lbs not the biggest in the world but that feeling of seeing my rod tip bend over, playing the fish, getting it out of the water taking care of any sores etc. Then watching it swim away was the best thing I've felt in a long time... Thanks for giving me the push to get into carp angling even thought it wasn't intentional!

At one of the local ponds where I grew up near, there was a Large mouth bass that was always spotted but no one had caught(that we knew of) and we fished it nearly every day. We would have contests between the 3 or sometimes 4 of us and sometimes get over 150 fish a day each! Bluegill, Crappie, Bass, carp and shiners. We would always spot this bass cruising in and around the lily's One day, while by myself and using a size 14 long shank with earth worms, no weight, fishing bluegill, bouncing the bait off the bottom like you would a plastic worm, I hooked up with something massive! I had a Konkor sp3 3' rod, sigma 035 reel with Maxima 2 lb line. I fought that fish for about 15 minutes and a passer by saw and said, thats the grand daddy of the pond. It was him! I reached down picked it up and (wished I had a camera) it was 1982 I believe. I put it back in. My friends did not believe I caught him but in my heart, I know I did. Wonderful feeling, just like you must have felt. But it changed everything! Now, what was the challenge? I still, to this day, fish the pond, some 40 years later but catch mostly memories of all my old fishing buddies and times we had. Peace guys, awesome video, your videos never fail to make me smile and remind me of a certain day or fish. Thanks for posting.

Great video C&A. This video typifies the ups and downs of fishing, and just how a positive attitude can reward you in life. From stalking the big one for a long time, to finally having the bait in it's mouth and missing the hook set, and sitting down in complete dismay. I know the heartbreak of it only too well. However, you lads never gave up and you got back up and tried again, and were rewarded with a wonderful catch. WELL DONE!

That missed bite is why your videos are so relatable. Watching someone else not catch runs like that, brings quite a unique dynamic to youtube fishing videos. In fact, you should put a few vids out where you *do* completely blank, then we can tell you where you went wrong in the comment section. :-p And don't even *start* with that "But we never blank" bilge . . . . .

When fishing with top water lures for predators ie:bass, pike, it helps to pause before striking to insure a better hookup. Perhaps a similar approach would work for carp.
