Looks great...My memories of New Brighton from the 1980's include staying in the roughest B and B ever looking out across the Mersey...i want a return visit after watching this
As the light faded about 4pm, thought I saw the Aurora Borealis, apparently it was fumes from the container ships mixing with the dock lights. After all those miles you two must have walked this year, hope you have a great Christmas and New Year.
We had a short break in the west of Wirral last month which was very pleasant. It is years since I last visited the waterways Museum, and New Brighton I haven't been to since I was a child.
A while since we visited the Wirral too. William H. Lever turned up again, a busy chap, of course Port Sunlight with the Lever Brothers factory is quite close. I'm looking at rucksacks like the one you have, I have been suffering with a pinched nerve in the neck and perhaps my rucksack with cameras hasn't helped.
What an amazing coincidence. We have recently visited and walked parts of the Wirral Way but on the west side banks of the River Dee. We have been to Ellesmere but not the port. I really do like watching the tourist side as well as walking route, also history too. A nice piano track accompaniment to your film Steve. (p.s. Did you feel tempted to play that piano in the floral pavilion conference room? ) All the best again for the Festive Season.
Another unusual route you have found, I see it was originally a railway track, if that's the one. Yes, I was tempted to play the piano, it brought back memories of the various residencies I had over the years, think I would have to get back in practice to do a three hour set again. All the best.
