Warm Wet Circles by the British neo-progressive rock band Marillion. It was the third single from their fourth studio album Clutching at Straws, released on 26 October 1987.
"Warm Wet Circles" peaked at number 22 in the UK Singles Chart, becoming the band's 9th top-thirty hit in a row, and remained on the chart for four weeks. The music video featured footage of the band's concert at Lorelei in West Germany on 18 July 1987
Although Clutching at Straws did not achieve the sales of its predecessor, the number one album Misplaced Childhood, spending 15 weeks on the UK album chart (the shortest chart residency of any of Marillion's first four studio albums), it was still an immediate commercial success, becoming the second highest charting Marillion album by entering the chart at number two.
It produced three UK Top 40 singles: "Incommunicado", "Sugar Mice" and "Warm Wet Circles".

Clutching at Straws one of my favorites by Marillion but then again anything from the Fish time is great. Steve is one of my all time favorite guitarist. What I really love about him is his live sound is his studio sound. Great job Geoff!

D M no argument there brother. I saw them a few times in the late 80s in Southern California. Everyone in the audience sang all the words to all the songs. We are devoted fans.

@@GuitarMates Please, fantastic song, great dynamics, real Gilmourish style solo from yer man. I could ask my Son to do Keys, if you are ever down Surrey and fancy doing it live.

I remember when Clutching at Straws came out -87 i think. I was blown away everything about it music, lyrics, artwork, planet earth in cocktail glass....Then later they showed Live from Loreley on tv here in Finland. Well, it came to an end soon after that, but what times they were...
