Great question! That's typically because there are so many variations associated with it is my guess. For example, I don't advise people to sell on Exodus or other platforms like Ledger Live because it costs too much (ie. Moonpay charges a spread on the price of the asset and then charges a fee typically... absolute joke!). You're better off sending it to another Exchange to convert/sell or selling to another private individual.

I really love this wallet for its ease of use. It’s very user friendly. Without the 2 factor authentication though, I question how secure it is. Great question... if someone steals your 12 or 24 keyword seed phrase and steals your crypto assets, they are gone and you can not reverse the transactions. This is why it is extremely important to NEVER put your keyword seed phrase on a phone, computer or any digital application. In terms of your "tracking" question... you could track the crypto address that they sent the crypto assets to, but good luck getting anything back.

Hey Dre, great questions. There is no "linking" going between CB and Exodus. You'll need to transfer your BTC over to your BTC wallet on Exodus. Your BTC will continue to fluctuate no matter where it's at... think of it like gold or silver... whether it's in a bank vault or in your home, the price of that asset continues to fluctuate with the market.

Yes. If you’re wanting to sell down the road, I’d recommend having accounts on other exchanges. You CAN sell on Ledger Live but I don’t recommend it because of the fees I’ve seen in the past. Isn’t worth it in my opinion.

I do recommend Exodus wallet because of how easy it is to setup, functionality and they also don't ask for much when setting it up unlike Coinbase, Gemini or others (and yes I know that Gemini is an Exchange, but you get what I'm saying).

Select the option to Buy Crypto. If you don't want BTC, ETH or another crypto asset... select a stable coin like USDT or USDC. Keep in mind, Exodus uses Moonpay and they will charge you an arm and a leg to buy through your debit/credit card. My opinion is to purchase elsewhere where you don't have to use Moonpay, they are terrible.
I noticed that Exodus has a 1000 limit per transfer. What if I have a larger amount I want to transfer? If I get charged a fee per transfer, then that would cost a lot more.

Transfer money to your exchange, such as Coinbase, then from Coinbase transfer to your wallet.
If you suspect your seed phrases have been seen, is it possible to change them?
You would have to create a new wallet, possibly on another device, and send your funds to the new wallet. Can't change the seed phrase.
