I have visited the Photokina yesterday. There was a guy called Sergei from Gimbal Lab in St. Petersburg, Russia. He demonstrated how to set up the Fuji xt3 along with the extremely heavy Fujinon Cinema lens. Oh boy, this Gimbal is awesome. With that heavy 3.6 kg setup He showed the audience how smooth and buttery this Gimbal works. I was surprised what you can do with the app. He showed us how to set up the motors via the app. Great gimbal. I ordered one myself from him at Photokina in Cologne. Great Explainer Jeven, like your videos.
I'm russian gimbal reviewer and seller. I carefully test all models. 3 months ago I tested this Accsoon and found it extremely stable as Ronin S, but more universal because of camera weigh from zero!!!! And cheap. I sold it for today about 160 PCs and it looks very reliable too. My purpose give the best my customers.. if you have questions feel free ask me
I have the a-1. It's great for me, plus they just updated the app not to long ago where you can 360 roll it. Plus the app actually works, they put some good design into it.
Almost seems too good. You never really said anything negative about it. What are some of the bad things about it? Do the circular tighteners stay tightened? Is it smooth for parallaxes? Is the plate it comes with good and easy to put on? Big one.....when putting it away in your incase bag(i have the same bag) do you have to adjust the motors so the roll motor flattens and becomes fully square? (If that makes sense)
Great review - very thoughtful and helpful. I do have a question: would you recommend the Accsoon a1s or the Crane 2 if using a Canon 70D? I've ruled out the Ronin S b/c it doesn't really seem to support the Canon series except via the IR/cable, which seems hit or miss.I know the Crane 2 is very compatible with the Canon line, but it would be my first (motorized) gimbal and would appreciate your opinion. Wide variety of uses ranging from architecture/landscaping pans for footage. B roll to more cinematic/artistic - any advice would be very much appreciated - Thanks!
Hey man just subscribed, love the content. I'm looking into getting a gimbal but can't decide for which of my platforms, (Gopro, iPhone x, or DSLR) I think in this video you said this gimbal can be used for DSLR and iPhone? Maybe you can have some input on what I should go about doing, or maybe this gimbal would be an option for me. I'm more of a hobbiest when it comes to photography and I know I can get a gimbal just for my iPhone for a little over $100 which is sweet. Thanks in advance.
So it's only $100 less than the Ronin-S but without the cam control and focus features. How does it compare to the Ronin-S in terms of smoothness and stabilization? I think it is pricey for lacking the features DJI brings to the table. I had the Feiyutech a2000 and sent it back because it was not smooth enough and did not remain centered and I am now looking for a replacement. I just heard of this gimbal from your video and was dead set on the Ronin-S. Since the additional features are nice to have but not a deal breaker, I am looking for the smoothest and most stable gimbal for a dSLR setup. Which one would you choose in terms of performance?
Same here, I got the Feiyutech ak2000 and it has little side to side wobbles that kinda ruins the footage. It's really hard to do smooth parralax'z with the Ak2000. Looking for a replacement, and maybe this is it? Idk
Looks fantastic but amazon does not ship and boy it's a bit over my pay scale but Gee it is so smooth and seeing I am walking with a slight limp know could work stay safe and enjoy yourselves see ya
Is there a way to RE CENTER the Gimbal!? Note: The plate mechanism seems terrible, so I had to attach my quick release. WHich kinda sucks in placement bc the stupid small manfrotto quick release has this notch that pops out so I could only put it on the far back side so it kind of sticks out.
This might be irrelevant for this video but I would like to know how much difference it makes if you have stabilization in camera/lens compared to not having stabilization other than a gimbal? Thanks for showing video without slomo.
If you turn on stabilization and walk you'll still see plenty of movement. Gimbals are made for doing longer moves. Check out my video on when you would shoot and not use a gimbal. ruclips.net/video/xG7uEf2p3Pg/видео.html
First, Roll motor 45 degree design which brings full vision of camera display. Second, load can be ZERO gram- with nothing loaded it can work. Third, Roll motor can be placed on both right and left side. Hum, more you will find if you want to know more:)

Great review, Jeven! Good to see some NYC in there as well
Good info, as usual Jevon. Thanks for keeping us all informed and up to date.
Thanks
Thanks for the informative review Jeven. The footage looks awesome, love those shots through all those lamps.
Thanks
Great video man! That’s an awesome gimbal
Looks like an awesome gimble
Thanks for explaining how to properly focus without focus control. I might just step up this accounts game with the A1-S.

Thanks dude, sold me on it

When were you in NYC? lol This is an awesome review and now I want this gimbal!
Just ordered this gimbal. Do you by any chance know how I can get a user manual on line. I've looked but don't find it. Love your videos. Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Is there another gimbal but cheaper??

Hi Jeven, what lens were you using to shoot with on your Gh5 on this gimbal? Thanks for sharing.
How is it compared to the Kylin M that you reviewed a few months back? Do you still use the Kylin M?
Very good review.
Hello my friend. So i blind bought this and sold the gudsen air i had. Would you mind sharing the motor settings ??????? Thx @jeven
This vs Moza Aircross or Moza Air or Wheebill lab? Seeking the lightest and still many functions as possible : )
Weebill Lab for smallest. Just make sure you’re camera doesn’t exceed the weight limit
@@JevenDovey Wow that was fast! Thank u man!! I'm planning to get the new A6400 with kit lens so pretty chill!
Is there a way to RE CENTER the Gimbal!?

i had mine .. and its pretty awsome.. better option than ronin-s which rely so much on the app and ronin is heavy

Very nice footage! Which camera was used with the gimbal? GH5? What lens? What LUT? Was it shot in 4K?
Looks like the Feiyu-Tech Gimbals
Way better than Feiyu Tech
The older model is about $150 less, is it worth getting that and saving some money? My D750 + lens is well under 2kg.
I like this version more. The Slat design makes a huge difference and it does perform better for stability
where can i buy this gimbal in sydney australia
They have added selfie mode. So actually 5 modes you can play with. 😉
Cool! Didn't realize that
Jeven Dovey Yep! press record 4 times for selfie and another 4 times go back to normal. BTW,Love your video!
Sewon Son Press 3 times the power button not 4 times:)
for lighter mirrorless cameras, how does this compare to Feiyu tech a1000 and a2000?
Way better than the Feiyu Tech gimbals
Whats the major difference between Moza Air, Crane 2 ?

I want this gimbal as i shoot videos but they r not stable.
Hey I emailed you.
Are you getting paid to do this "objective" review?
