This is the exact kind of demo/test I've been looking for. This is the only metal drumming test I've seen for the EAD10. Your kit sounds great! And also dat snare sound is ON POINT
Is the kick a blend between the trigger sound and the mic? It sounds to me that way! If not, you have an amazing kick drum tune/sound! It is an incredible device for less than 500€/$, that's for sure!
I just got the Yamaha ead10 today! I can’t tell how many times I came across this video researching it and I just have to say man, your incredibly fucking skilled! Holy shit I love how you make us wait for that snare hit and then come in with the double hit 🔥🔥fucking incredible man.
@@greetthemind overall it was definitely a great purchase. I use it almost every time I play. I don’t either have any experience with audio either so that’s definitely a pro. I would say it’s good enough for solid drum covers or non professional recording however, it won’t be as good as a full mic set up. Also I wouldn’t recommend using it live so that’s a con too. Overall it helped my practice a lot. I would say it’s great if your to lazy to mic up a full kit.
damn dude this is awesome. the ead sounds great and your playing is very good. since youve got an easy recording setup, you should try to get online and hop on some online projects. build up a resume. even if its a bunch of black metal albums lol.
Thank you so much, I’ve been actually waiting for shows to come back for I can start being a session drummer, even though I’m in a band, but I’ve heard a lot of good things about being a session drummer. You never know what that person has some connections to and those connections could get you a dope gig or land you in a professional and permanent spot in a well known band.
@@mattdrums0727 precisely! While us guitarists are a dime a dozen, Drummers are a commodity, and good drummers are precious. I see a good drummer in you. @@mattdrums0727 anytime~ Ah! and I've got one thing to ask! How did you set up the sound thing? or How did you made up that sound?? Sorry.. my english bad😂😇
How well does it work on load stages with a backline of amps and a monitor for the drummer? Does it get a lot of false triggers or just it only react to your playing?
Question...I bought the EAD10 about 6 months ago. Love it! I use a separate powered speaker instead of going thru the PA so as not to interfere with the vocals. I set the speaker to midway and control volume from module. Tend to get feedback at about 1/3 module volume. What setting do you use? Not much into electronics so would you recommend lowering the speaker setting and cranking up the module? Still experimenting.
@@mattdrums0727 awesome, I been recording on a laptop via udb cable but there is a bit of lag/latency on the kick drum. I will try directly and then export as wav. Any adjustment you made to kick or straight fwd from scene?
Hey if you guys are interested in a producer at all shoot me a dm! If you guys are able to get me the other instruments in your band I'd love to work with you guys. Keep it up!
I know I didn’t realize it till after the video. I guess the EAD only records from arm length and since I do have the crash is a bit further away from the EAD it won’t pick up, neither did the floor Tom to my left, it doesn’t pick that up either.
I haven't broken one yet but my China cymbal currently has a small crack so I'm just wait for it to break. But I do go through a shit ton of drumsticks lmao
Might not need two EAD's... the EAD allows additional trigger inputs which I've used with my toms before, but you may be able to trigger a 2nd bass drum and input it directly to the module

This guy does plenty demos using the EAD. He is a beast too ruclips.net/video/uaZYvqpmo6Q/видео.html

cool drumming, i wish u could hear more of the guitar but i'm even more impressed how good the ead10 is, i need one
The demo I needed 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤙🤙
Nossa! to impressionado com o Ead10! qualidade do audio muito boa!
Your snare sounds fuqn great
Thanks man
god fucking damned. That bassdrum sound is made out of wet dreams. also love your drumming!

Did the ead10 turn out good? Really debating on buying one since I have no audio experience and can’t see buying a whole mic setup

Bro! That snare though! How do you tune your snare and what snare do you use? Cheers man! Sick drumming btw!
You absolutely killed it! And the drums sound killer man! This video just convinced me to order one. What scene and settings are you using? Thanks!
You are very good player for the Drum, 😢

Love it, that's aggressive and everything sounds well mixed as is..
Are you running separate triggers on the toms?
You recorded this whit android sistem?...very good
I'm definitely gonna buy it

Yes!😎🔥🔥🔥👍💯
Hell yeah, earned a subscriber. And I'm glad I bought that ead10. Gotta figure it out now lol
Thank you so much

That snare is beautiful, are you using the trigger on it as well?
No I’m not using a trigger on my snare, I’m only using the ead10.
was this recorded directly on the EAD via USB stick or into a computer via USB cable? or into cell phone via recon share..?
Yes it was recorded through the EAD into my phone while using the Rec n share app

Sounds 🔥🔥how well does it work with faster snare stuff like thrash beats/blasts? Does the snare get drowned out by cymbal wash?
No in my experience it doesn’t drown out the snare with the cymbal wash
if you use 2 bassdrums, do you need 2 ead10s or where do you put it?
That I'm not sure about I should actually look into it but I doubt it
@@mattdrums0727 btw love the sound and music, let metal rule the world!!
My guess is yes, since it has a bass drum trigger
Might not need two EAD's... the EAD allows additional trigger inputs which I've used with my toms before, but you may be able to trigger a 2nd bass drum and input it directly to the module
Use a TRS Y cable and a second trigger...go from the triggers with the Y side and have them go into the same input on the brain.
Reminds me of the Deftones
Give some music
