I think one of the reasons why I am so drawn to you, your family, what you share is a reflection of something I desire for myself. I turned 71 this September fourth. Not so much that I am interested in raising a family, but more so the love which is shared. A very dear friend, from India told me recently that what we seek is seeking us. I am able to recognize the Joy, the Laughter, the Music, the Love....because all of that is within me as well. An enlightened path. Maybe one day, I'll be lucky enough to meet all of you in person. Just to offer gratitude and to laugh. Nothing complicated. Simple easy. I have found Life usually operates that way for me. Love you all. Continue your music, Sheena. It is wonderful♥

While we were on different continents with weak telecoms, I wrote a letter every week to my girlfriend. Sometimes we sent cassettes. That lasted for a couple of years, then we returned home and got married.

This is a glimpse into military life. It's so hard being separated from your partner for extended periods of time for different reasons. 😢
15:20 I have stayed in a LDR for 9 years. Finally we are together in bangalore. And yes, its tough when somebody enters your personal space but ohh god, so worth it because of the experiences we are having together. Finding cafes, good street food, movies, everything!
To have someone you want to experience everything with is such a gift

Yay!!! This was actually a great topic of choice. Very relatable. Even when you have to be away from your person for weeks, I agree with Trid that it’s still experiencing the long distance struggles. P.s Sheena your song had me in tears. It’s so beautiful and I played it for my husband and he loved it as well!

I was in a long distance relationship for a year and half before we got married, then a long distance marriage for 1year. Now we have been in the same space for 6years straight.
I was in a long distance relationship and when we were finally together, permanently, it was sooo hard for an entire year. I missed the space and my routine and he doesn’t have a routine and had trouble adjusting to mine. I also felt like he expected me to always “wow” him. It was very hard uniting.
I am currently in a long distance relationship. It isn't easy, but we are making it work. Thank you for this episode. We both watch the show.

I really love this episode topic. I agree that time apart from someone special in your life makes you realize and cherish how much you love everything about them. I have learned this recently after my step dad recently passing and really watching and listening to my mom talk of all the memories. They were married over 25 years and you just realize that when the little annoying quirks and noises that were there before how much you miss them when they are gone. Cherish every ounce of each other Sheena and Trid ❤ you guys are the best!

Professional lawyers getting 3 whole weeks off work is amazing.
I don't think he works for a Law Farm anymore. At this point he might be a freelancer or free agent kind of lawyer who takes on clients on own convenience.
