Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the great comments, I'm so glad you all like the music! Just FYI - I do play by ear so unfortunately don't have any sheets to give you, sorry 'bout that!

I haven't touched a piano in years. I stumbled across your video and I have tears all over my key pad and a new priority for tomorrow: to have a date with my piano.
You, sir, are just simply incredible....your interpretations are so spot-on and terrific. I could listen all night to your renditions, and they have inspired me as a musician, a pianist of some ability I must say, to continue to improve with my own interpretations, as I continue with my music, some original, but mostly church music and pop standards, mixed with some Broadway, and classic favorites . In short, you have inspired me to grow as an artist, and I am a WHOLE lot older than you, my new mentor. THANKS!!
+Lauren Anthony Why? Eponine is the best singing role period. Then again, I guess it depends on your vocal strengths, you need a good contralto voice for Eponine.
This is an absolutely amazing compilation of the songs! You`re a brilliant pianist! I also like the way you`ve managed to merge the pieces together without any awkward key changes!
Nothing has ever made me as happy as that. My favorite musical with someone who has obviously spent years behind the piano mastering it. I wish someday to be like that. BRAVO
I was in a production of this in my hometown. It was the first serious production we did. When I started I didn't realise how much this play would mean to me. I just thought about the cool 'set' from the movie. We did the first three shows, and the whole cast was crying on the last night. We honestly became the best of friends. The whole cast was a family. So, we then decided to do it again in a months time! (Since it got great reviews). So we did it. And I honestly never cried so much. This brought me too tears. Thank you for helping remember all those funny/emotional times while we created our own version of this. Thank you. -Rachel
This absolutely made my day. I've always felt that Les Mis didn't really translate to piano very well...until seeing this. You have so masterfully blended everything together in a way that makes it sound just as enjoyable as the real thing. I'll be studying your rendition very closely to try to play this one on my own, every measure of it! Bravo!!
I've just graduated and find the twelve-day stretches almost unbearable, and I genuinely can't fathom how my American colleagues handle the 24-plus hour shifts. Clearly music is a big part of how you unwind. Excellent work on this medley, thank you for sharing this with us.
Beautiful! This is my most favorite play. Just so you know, the movie is nothing compared to the play. You have got to see it. Every time I do, I fall in love all over again. When you played, I could see the play in my head. That is pure talent
So beautiful! I play piano myself and have been doing that for 7 years (16 years old), but this is so AMAZING!!! I want that piano, so beautiful and make such a beautiful sound. :D
Mhm,totally agree. I first saw it with my mum and sister and absolutely loved it.I went two weeks later to our local cultural centre where they were showing it on a big screen with two of my best friends. One had never seen it and the other had seen it twice before! Thankfully the one who had never seen it loved it to bits! We were some of youngest in the audience (by a LONG shot!)but there was another teenage couple there who remarked (very loudly) that they hated it. So much for musical taste.
This is one my favorite piano pieces to listen to in the car!!! I love this!!! Wish I could play like this!!! If sheet music ever becomes available I would LOVE it!!
1. Look down 2. Look down (Beggars) 3. I dreamed a dream 4. Caste on a cloud 5. Lovely Ladies 6. Master of the house 7. ??? 8. Fauntine's Death 9. Only on my own 10. Bring him home 11. Empty chairs at empty tables 12. Do hear the people sing? (Valjean's death)
I LOVE how you got turned on to the musical through the film. I've been a fan of Les Miserables for years, and my grandfather was the one who introduced me. It really warms my heart to know that more young people are being introduced to the magic of Les Mis!!
This was absolutely stunning!! Love love loved it!! Les Mis is by far my favorite movie and just hearing you play a medley of it just brightened my day! Thank you so much!! :) cheers!
This is amazing! I've watched a lot of your videos and each and every one of them are a joy to listen to. This is my favorite of your medleys and of any les mis medley I've listened to. You're the first I've seen actually do Look Down and you make every song so perfect, either lively or haunting. I particularly like Do You Hear the People Sing, since you let the dotted quarter notes and eighth notes move like how it wants to on paper with a lot of spirit and each leading into the other, as opposed to the way most people sing it. Every note and chord is spot on and you pour so much feeling into each song you do, it's a true pleasure to listen to. Thank you so much for your music, I'm sure even if you primarily play by ear it's still a lot of work.
skill, passion, talent, perfection. The finest 12:20 I have invested in a long time. Flashes of the play/movie, the beauty, the pain, terror and love. 12:20 invested very wisely. Thank you.
Oh my god!!! Not too long ago i said i would love to hear an instrumental version of the soundtrack. Prayer answered. You did an amazing job!!!! Bravo!!!
I was just recently in a production for Les Misérables outdoors under the stars. Before the movie came out I saw Les Misérables on stage so many times since its my mom's number one favorite Broadway show. We always say in the back so it made me confused and not understand what the show was about but the first time I saw the show I fell in love with the music. Once I saw the movie when it came out it helped understand more on what the show was about and also fell in love with Suddenly. Being in the show was so much fun and just by understanding what the show is about and since it was the last performance and I got so close to the cast and crew at the end of the show one of my best friends and I cried backstage. This work that you've done in the video is absolutely beautiful. I think you pulled almost every single song together really well and sometimes it's not easy to do especially working on the side. So we'll done, bravo. ☺🎶 Can I buy this on iTunes? I would love to listen to this over and over again. 🎶
bloody hell..you are truly talented!!! I am a true fan of the les mis movie and know all the songs off by heart..liturally!!! I think that this amazing piece of music makes it even more special and enables you to hear it from a different perspective...I love it!!!
I got chills, sitting here and listening to this :) beautiful :) amazing job! I love Les Miserables and I listen to the songs all the time :) thank you for sharing :)
I am awestruck, my dear pianist! I'm incredibly impressed by your medley of Les Misérables songs and how you melded each into a seamless whole, capturing the spirit of each so perfectly. I especially enjoyed "Do You Hear the People Sing?" because I could feel the revolution spirit in that song. :) I would have loved to hear "One Day More," but with all those voices, I imagine it would be a nightmare to transcribe...
How do I start this off? I do not think I can describe your work as well as you played but, I'm going to try. From the moment you started playing, I was captivated. I was captivated by the way your fingers gracefully stroked the keys as if it were glass and by the way the passion was just radiating off of you. I love the movie, it is wonderful. Though, I feel like you were playing the movie itself. This is my favorite Les Mis medley I have heard and I am glad I watched the whole 12 minutes. When you started playing On My Own (the song Eponine sings) I felt like crying. Not of anything bad, I assure you. I felt like that because I imagined Eponine singing that and of her love being completely unrequited...than by the end of your marvelous medley, I was speechless. For I have not heard anything so beautiful in my entire life. I could go on and on praising this medley but no words can describe how I feel. Thank you for this medley. It really brought me back.

Everything by ear? perfect pitch?

I could watch someone play the piano all day. This is the most beautiful instrument 😍
Phantom of the Opera should be next!

This is giving me goosebumps. I'm a total theatre geek/thespian. My dream is to be Fantine in a production of Les Miserables.
+Lauren Anthony Why? Eponine is the best singing role period. Then again, I guess it depends on your vocal strengths, you need a good contralto voice for Eponine.
+Ian Martin Yeah, I tried singing Eponine, and for the most part it's in my range, but there are just some notes that I cannot hit...
The discipline it takes to do this is commendable. Bravo! Thanks for sharing.
How can this video have even 6 dislikes??? Why would ANYBODY dislike such a beautiful arrangement of such fantastic and deeply moving music???
damn i love this
Nice
me too!

This is the best rendition I've heard so far. Bravo!
The only negative comment I have about this video is that it didn't have "One Day More", but other than that it was an inspiring piece of art.
Agreed, that and "Stars" which is sung by Javert (played by Russel Crowe)

Right now I'm experiencing a weird mixture of awe, jealousy and amazement right now. Brilliant!

Listening while doing history homework. Pretty blown away.

So beautiful! I play piano myself and have been doing that for 7 years (16 years old), but this is so AMAZING!!! I want that piano, so beautiful and make such a beautiful sound. :D

Oh what a Joy ... I could listen to your playing all night ... what a talent you have ... Thank you so much.
The fact that you've done all this by ear, AND that you remember all of it, it absolutely amazing!
This is the most inspiring piece of music I've ever heard, you've touched my soul with this medley. Thank you!
I wish i could like this three billion times. Perfect.
Absolutely, I could only ask for at least one of Javerts solos, but none the less a masterful composition well done
