- Hey people,
So, I'm back with another piano medley, this time with music from one of the greatest pop piano legends of all time - Elton John. I was a little hesitant to do it since you can't really do piano better than Elton, but I figured, hey why not - might as well throw a bunch of songs together and see what happens. And since there are so many great Elton songs - this turned out a little longer than I thought it would. If you can make it to the end without falling asleep or clicking on another video - congrats, I think you're the one person in the world without ADHD. Anyway, I really hope you enjoy the music. OMG! I am 47 and have played piano since I was 4. You have a God given talent. Don't listen to the negative comments. It's BEAUTIFUL and you are truly an inspiration to young players. Stay with it, I wish I had.

I am just now able to touch the keys again after almost 15 years. I suffered a stroke 2 years ago, and have gotten just a small used upright, but to me- Its the world. Never feel you can't start again. To play a scale is my gift after two hard years of pain..the music has erased so much of it...

Beautiful. from a Julliard pianist- Bernie Taupin wrote Your Song at 17, mailed it to Elton and he wrote the music...The rest is history...Just fill my home with your piano...

Elton John was the very first artists I listened to extensively and became an avid fan of. As a teenager in high school just a few years ago, I grew up listening to his music, even though I'm only 20 now. I have seen him twice in concert and he still manages to keep the entire audience transfixed. He is his own orchestra. You did an amazing job portraying his work here. Very well done.

I think a great choice of songs. Elton has written some wonderful music, and I agree it can seem hard to do them justice but justice I think you give them. You have a natural way of playing, and it’s always a pleasure to watch you play. I agree with another person, you do make it look so easy. I only play a little but, it’s so nice and uplifting to listen to good players as you. Thanks for the music.

He messed up a couple of times but the mistakes are so tiny that only someone with a trained ear hears them. But the music he's playing is so beautiful the voicings so complex and rich that you can ignore these. He did a wonderful job. That's for sure.

I think my favourite thing about Estonia johns music is that he uses chords in a way that no one else really does. You can just listen to the chord progressions and suddenly be like "yup that's an elton John chord" lots of 7sus chords. Sounds amazing x
totally agree,I'm a massive Elton fan and always enjoy sticking this clip on now and then.pianodoc82puts his own spin on the songs but oh plays them so beautifully

I have loved my time as a Julliard gradute and playing medleys of all kinds..But now as I hear you play, I would change one tiny, tiny thing and that would be the speed at which you are switching songs. This is a great way to open and practice singing and with your accompaniment it is a great way to regain my breathe control etc. Just a beat slower, so the lyrics can be added. Beautiful...TY so much for this and all your other incredible medleys. Bravo!

I just have no words. This was outstanding, unbelievable, highly professional and what not. This piano guy is able to kick any other pianist's ass, both in terms of playing and arranging music. By the way, arrangements were brilliant.
LOVE THIS MIX! i love elton so much, even had a dream that I was in this dusty suburban section of a convenience store and figuring out which candy/gum/chocolate to buy and he walked in wearing an aubergine velvetine suit jacket, a chartreuse and orange craveat, gold platforms and bejewelled specs and danced with me to Your Song. and in the dream I magically knew all of the lyrics, and I am the worst at remembering lyrics IRL! I love his tunes, he is a living genius! other faves include (but are not limited to) Crocodile Rock, Sweet Painted Lady, Nikita, Something About the way You Look Tonight, Daniel's Song, Grey Seal (just naming a few that would translate well to piano (which you should cover) LOL) keep up the good work! SO inspiring!!! i feel like taking up piano again after 20+ years because of this compilation, she's a beaut!

I will be honest, there are 3 of these songs I haven't heard before (the likes of which being Someday Out of the Blue, Blessed, and Circle of Life). However, i do know I can play this and fall asleep immediately. You have no idea how inspiring you are not only to me, but probably to many other people in the world. Thank you.
