The spawns are only really good within the city CBD especially around the harbour. Outside of the city they are no better than anywhere else. What I find is actually quite similar to what Nick finds in California day to day

Houndour is like Growlith for you and Swinub like Drowzee for us. I havent seen a Houndour yet but got like 400 candies of swinubs

I find those "sub regional" pokemons pretty interesting as niantic never talked about those specifically, but in Europe and especially the UKI area, we got flooded with Swinubs, Woopers, Marils.
Same here in Michigan. Eevee's, teddies, swinubs, are as common as rats and pidgies. We catch more grimmers than geodudes growlithe or voltorbs

I love how regional Pokemon actually are. I hear nick talk about how Teddiursa and bug types are rare where he lives and they spawn like Pidgeys here but He lives in an electric biome where voltorb and magnamite are everywhere and I've yet to one outside of an egg. It really makes you want to explore and travel more.

I don't know the name of that bridge. I just know it's the one beside the Opera House. I don't think that bridge is top tier famous as in on par with Pyramids of Giza or the Forbidden City. I don't even think of that bridge when I think of Sydney. Like the Pearl Oriental Tower is not super famous but it is iconic in the Shanghai skyline. That bridge not so much.

Seriously, you need to come to NJ and hit up National Park near Philly. In ONE day, there were 3 Lapras spawns, 2 Dragonites, Snorlaxes, Kabutops and others. It's an insane spawn area.

Those spiders you close-upped looked like golden orb weavers. A beautiful, enormous, badass species. They can get big enough to trap small birds. They are easily recognizable by the golden stripes on their legs as well as the yellow tinge to their silk from passing over each strand multiple times.

I'm not trying to say that it's the best way, because Nick might have his own reasons.

Swinub was extremely common where I live in winter. Right now it's rare but still happens sometimes. Houndour on the other side, still 0 caught and seen.

as you said, swinub was very common in northern areas before the water festival. here where i live in norway, on my nearby list it was always 4-5 swinub at all times. i cought a pileoswine the first 30 min of playing after gen 2 release. i'm happy that those spawns is decreased a little.

There are soooo many houndour and houndoom around here, and not a swinub to be found except for the one nest we had once. Half an hour north of here, it's the total opposite - lots of swinub and no houndour.
