Darkerthanblacksoul im suburban, and that's still a lot to me (i literally have no more than 10 pokestops within a few miles from my house, but one i pass every so often)
IVs do, indirectly, make Pokémon harder or easier to catch. For example a 483cp dratini with 0 IVs will be HARDER to catch than a dratini with 100 IVs at the same 483cp. The 100 IV Pokémon, at the same cp, is a lower level. Thus, I reason that higher IV Pokémon can actually be said to be easier to catch. If you see a 100iv Pokémon, it will be at the lowest possible level, while showing the most cp possible for its current level kus it would always have that because of better IVs. Idk I think it makes sense to me.

I think what I'm most jealous of when it comes to Nick is how he rarely ever loses GPS connection. anytime I enter a building, tunnel, even just walk under a bridge of some sort, my GPS signal drops off and I get errors from whatever Pokemon I'm catching and I am locked out of pokestops and I have to run around trying to reconnect so I can find a way to reconnect and spin stops then allow the Pokemon to reappear to try catching again.
Thanks Nick for posting on the weekends while you were on vacation because we all know typically you take the weekends off and I'm sure I can say for everyone that we really do enjoy your editing styles and let us know when you are coming to New Orleans a shout out would be great

If you really want to thank us for watching you Nick, at least try to do a meet up next time. There were a lot of us in Sydney and Melbourne that really wanted to meet you, and you didn't update us about a possible meet up after mentioning it in an earlier video. I would of even preferred you saying "I'm not doing a meet up" than just saying nothing. I am not a hater, on the contrary I enjoy your content. When I travel to Cons in Australia or LA I always tell my fans were I will be if they want to meet or get a photo with me. I know it can be scary meeting strangers but you need to try and overcome that.
TotalMK all he needs to work on this so he can branch out. If he puts all his passion in pokemon go, it might die but if he puts his passion in people they will reward him with a bigger fan base. It is easy to be uncomfortable with people but it's just something he needs to work on

Actually iv does influence catch rate. The difficulty rating is based on the pokemon's level, or distance on the wheel, so a high cp/low iv pokemon would be at higher on the difficulty than a high iv with same cp. high iv would place lower on the wheel for same cp.
Here's an interesting theory, but I'll admit it's mostly speculation. Each of the region exclusive pokemon spawn in place that have a different total area. Also, if each of the pokemon have the same spawn rates it may be as a function of area. Since Australia has a smaller overall area, there may be a higher density. This was more of a stream of consciousness thought so feedback is welcome.

That were some great spawns in Sydney. I enjoyed this trip in Australia and New-Zealand, Nick. I hope one day I can catch Kangdaskhan, because a trip to Australia from here (The Netherlands) is pretty expensive... Dragonite and Blissey are really difficult to catch. Can tell you this, because I caught 2 Dragonites in the wild last week and 2 Blisseys (also with very high CP) this week. Using the Pinap Berry on those two is a huge risk.
IV indirectly affects catch rate. Level is the main contributor. High level, low IV pokemon are the hardest to catch when you are catching pokemon at a comparable cp.
Yo Niantic should totally make some marker around the pokemon you're tracking so you would know which is about to despawn! That's a bummer. Love the skating + Art Gallery footage.

Yep. Ever since the update to the Steelix loading screen I can only get in game once or twice per day, if it fails to load or I crash out/get disconnected/accidentally close the program, it won't let me connect to the game again for several hours.

I bought a Go Plus recently but I tend not to even use it because it takes so many pokeballs and there is just no way for me to stock on items
Its actually okay for that, you can set it to just "Notifications for Pokestops"
FunXDom 37 isn't even low. I get down below 20 Pokeballs sometimes. And I play in suburban areas most of the time

I'm can confirm that for the east coast too, Nick: since Gen 2 launched, I don't think I've seen a single Tauros spawn.

You should try Pasadena/Arcadia/Monrovia for your 7 day streak. Nothing but kings rock up there 4? Weeks in a row.

there is a relationship as much as higher IVs leads to higher CP and CP does effect catchrate.
