All customers should know this feature and the problem that comes along with it, there is a big white noise/hiss issue. SONY has not fixed it since 2021.. I face the same issue and it seems common, just have a search in youtube and you will get the videos of it. The issues are not considered to be the Sony A soundbar connected but from the TV software. I use X94K and HT A3000 soundbar. SONY, any plan to fix it by software, atleast when many by now has reported to have this issue and being a common issue?

After the Sony soundbar and the Sony rear speakers (RS5) are connected, can the sound volume level on the rear speaker be changed without changing the sound level of the soundbar? In other words, can the sound level of the rear speakers be adjusted individually and independently? Also, can the soundbar remote control be used to turn ON/OFF the soundbar and the rear speakers simultaneously? Thank you!
Thank you for contacting Sony. The volume of the rear speaker SA-RS5 (compatible with the soundbar models HT-A9/HT-A7000/HT-A5000) can be controlled independently in this way: Press REAR (rear speakers volume) + on the remote control of the compatible model to increase the volume of the rear speakers. The power on/off of the soundbar and rear speaker work independently, too. For more details, access this link: www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/5034/61411f8c33e85939b6d780f1380ab18d/50345001M.pdf Hope this helps! Regards, Ivan.
@@SonyConnect Thanks for your prompt response. I knew there are two buttons on the sound-bar remote control for increasing/decreasing the rear speaker volume. Unfortunately, even when the display on the sound-bar says “Max”, the actual sound level is still very low. The only way to raise the rear speakers volume is to turn up the sound-bar volume which obviously is not the ideal method. I was hoping that you would be able to tell me a way to raise the rear speakers volume in another more useful way (again, the Max level is still very low). Regarding the simultaneous power ON/OFF the rear speakers and the sound-bar, it looks like only simultaneously powering OFF both is possible, but not simultaneously powering ON both. By the way, I have already read the user manual in the link you gave me.

The HT-A3000 Home menu does not appear on TV when I press Home on its remote. Since the SA-SW3 200W Wireless Subwoofer did not automatically connect I need a way to access the Home menu so I can attempt to manually link these two items together. Please help! Thank you!

Thank you for contacting Sony, we're glad to assist you with this. To connect a turntable to a stereo system, the stereo system should have a PHONO input. If a PHONO input is not available, the turntable must have a built-in amplifier, or an in-line amplifier must be used to connect the turntable to another input on the stereo system. You may consider getting an amplifier or AV receiver, this time we would suggest checking our model STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver Phono Input and Bluetooth®. If I use this sound bar while watching a movie, will my pizza taste better? :P Seriously though, I got this because it has a remote so I don't need a smart phone to set it up like Bose and Sonos require. That is the main reason I chose Sony over those brands.
This video was very help. Thank you. Perhaps another video on the more advanced setting. Many Thank.
I have a Sony XR75X95K and I get the hissing sound from the TV when I connect the s center acoustic cable.

I've followed all the suggested settings. I'm still getting a hiss and it seems very little audio from the so-called 'center-speaker' of the TV
@randomsprout the only solution is to change the motherboard of the TV by Sony, by raising a complaint about the issue.
Can I use any subwoofer or only specific Sony products?
After sound bar setup I tried to change audio mode it is ghosted out if this option is not available what mode is best?
Hi. My Sony 48a90k and Sony ht-a3000 hiss when the center speaker is turned on. Release a normal update for TV and soundbar!
