I am looking at buying the a Sony 55" Brava 8 to go into a room with a room that a standard soundbar does not work do to no walls or walls at different angles. Therefor the 3.1 HT A3000. But, does this eliminate the included on screen sound that comes with the TV? Does it make all the built in TV speakers as a center channel. Or, can they work more dynamically together, emphasizing moving voices on screen, to make a better overall sound package? I am told the Brava 8s existing sound is good. I know you kinda covered this with your "center channel" comment. I guess I am looking for a bit more depth. Does Sony have a more comprehensive video or explanation? With the soundbar I am just looking to make it better without spending $10k. Great video... Thanks...
The setup was not bad: but after using it for a while, I returned it. The product downgrades the sound quality to mono. The voice dialog gave me headache. The subwoofer and rear speakers had a bad signal and frequently disconnected itself, especially when listening to music with base. There are too many problems too expensive to deal with. Went back to a new JBL soundbar new model 500 pro 5.1
I love it's form fact. The first thing that comes to my mind is, it's neither too long nor short. It's size is just right. The price tag is very fair too, considering the brand.
@@MatthewMoniz Would it be possible to control the soundbar with an LG TV remote, though? Sorry, these kind of details make me wary of pulling the trigger on a third party soundbar.
Hi Matt - no idea if you wote about it before, but I was wondering is it worth buying extra rear speakers - especially if the distance between me and tv 2.6m?
Is the dialog sound nice and clear with just the sound bar, even if you don’t have have the a Sony TV to take advantage of Acoustic Center Sync feature? This this the one thing that has me looking for a new soundbar to replace my current Vizio soundbar setup.
It comes with the mount wall brackets? Cause I can afford the a5000 with the subwoofer sw3 and the rear speaker s3 , the only thing gonna change is the sound bar, this one or the a5000 with the same accessories same as you set up, I have the Sony a80j 65” that’s the difference, I like your video btw!
With the htx8500 which is a 2.1. This one has 3.1 So it has a dedicated centre channel for dialogue clarity. That's the only difference I see. They both look identical.
What do you guys thing of the HT-A3000? Are you up for a new Soundbar?
It's a Sony so, it's always gonna be a yes.

You're very welcome!

Sound bars have come a long way

Ya its a nice happy medium! Really excels when you pair it with other Sony products.
Form fact? Scoobie-Doo can doo-doo, but Jimmy Carter is smarter 🥴
@@brandonchutt312 I guess, it depends on a person's preference.

Reviewers should dedicate part of a soundbar review on connecting the thing to a TV from a different manufacturer.
The only difference it would make would be the voice effect by using the tv speakers

Have you noticed its OVERVIEW and not a review
but it's sponsored so it is polite (and probably obligatory) to use Sony products, movies...
Where did you get your rear speaker stand? I
Want to get a stand for the rear speakers.

Definitely! Having the rears make a nice difference for proper surround
Does it come with the subwoofer?
U made me love this sound bar
ITs pretty sweet! Thanks for watching Amr
@@MatthewMoniz thank you for helping 🙏
How long is it?
Hello I am trying to decide on Sony HTA 3000 and G700. This will be mainly used for sports. Suggestions? Thanks
Is the dialog sound nice and clear with just the sound bar, even if you don’t have have the a Sony TV to take advantage of Acoustic Center Sync feature?
This this the one thing that has me looking for a new soundbar to replace my current Vizio soundbar setup.
I also have a Sony XR75X95K. Is the sound bar worth it for the s center channel feature? I currently use a Visio V21 sound bar.
I returned my HTA 3000. Got the LGS80QR, it sounds better and I saved about $400.
How does this compare to bookshelf speakers (assume the same # of channels) when used for PC?
How would this compare to sonos beam 2 (without the subwoofer)?
I loved your cat watching TV
Is the better than the sony g700?
What subwoofer would you recommend to pair with this?
Sony's SW3 subwooder

Another review says the opposite... Tv speaker idea was a bad one. I just ordered the Ambeo sound bar. Hope it's as gud as they say.
Ambeo is on another level and a lot more expensive. I think the TV speaker was a great idea. Best is to go listen to it for yourself!
Sony's tv's and sound equipment are a bit underrated and are great products.
I agree!
HT-5000 won't fit under 55" Sony TV. So, this is the one to get (the HT-3000)
I have just purchased the LG éclair soundbar and subwoofer to go with my LG c1 oled TV for my ps5 in my box apartment 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hellllllo Matthew 👋
Hello you!
Pric
I thought the WH-1000XM4 was a fluke but does it seem Sony is bouncing back?
Got this for $400
