If you simply must have a soundbar with HDMI passthrough. Then the A5000, A7000 or HT-A9 will be better options for you. Here is my HT-A9 review if you want to check it out : ruclips.net/video/nk81DweW4OE/видео.html
My Sony SA WCT260H finally bit the dust. We got the Sony G700 and I'm a bit disappointed in the sound quality of hearing people and it lacks a good UMPH bass wise compared to my old one. My husband wants to return it and get the A3000 with the 200 Watt Sub. We're also trying to watch price so compared between my old Sony Soundbar sa-ct260h and the g700 would I be much happier when watching movies and my shows? Everything with my old and new soundbar are hooked up optical. I can't get anything sound wise with the HDMI ARC. My television is also a Sony Android. I'd have to check the model.
Would you say that the sound field feature works best when you have all the other speakers alongside the soundbar? I only have the soundbar and I’m not sure if I like it on or off.
Yeah, I own Bose bars 900 + sub 700 in my living room and Bose bars 600 in my bedroom. All work perfectly. I suggest just buy Bose for your music/speaker/movie... because they are made in great sound quality, build quality and long lasting.
The problem that you're likely to run into with the Bose is their reliability. They produce excellent sound, the problem is that they just brake and fail much too often. The Sony's are far more reliable and their sound is every bit as good as the Bose, if not better. Plus, they have far more features and capabilities than the Bose do. Generally speaking, the Sony A-series sound bars are just a better choice all the way around.
I actually ran into two people today that were telling me how their Bose sounbar broke after about a year and a half of use. I don't know what's going on inside of Bose these days, but they have got some very seriously QC issues there for sure. I'm just hearing WAY too many stores about Bose products breaking and not lasting as long as they should. For what they charge for their product, they should be lasting far longer than they are these days. Whatever the problem is there, Bose needs to figure it out. Far too many disappointed and upset Bose customers out there these days.

Becarefull there is a hungry dog behind you ! 😆
for me, Sennheiser Ambeo Plus or Max are best for Atmos, even better that q990b
I like of the Bose for surround sound.
Yeh Bose have solid products. I've not had an opportunity to properly test out the new stuff though.

Bose have too much of distorsion (10%) Arc is better and Sennheiser ambeo is better the Arc and q990b for atmos effect.
