Disclaimer: I had to cut the tabs off and I had to file some of the edges off the relay. For my year corolla(2009). I contacted Diode Dynamics and I told them all the problems I had, and I told them I don’t think it’s meant for our year corolla even though it says it on the website. And they were supposed to update there website with the modifications but I don’t think they have yet. But it was very tight trying to put it on the plug in the car. Sorry I didn’t explain that in the video.
@@jessiahy I haven’t had any problems. The only problems I had was when I went to install it, I had to cut off the ends because it was to long. I wrote a comment about it. But after I did that I haven’t had any problems with it.
I know this is an older video, I did the leds lights on my front of my 09 XRS and for some odd reason the leds are not working/pop a fuse. Im reading that i should have gotten the 7443 light and not the 3157, Did this make a differenct to you?
He man! Is there a way to switch of this mode? Like so that I can take it back to the original single flash and then turn on so it does these cops car type flashes? Because if I use the cops type flashing they will stop me and say it's illegal so like is there a way I can use this on certain times only like example on a car meetup and stuff, UK what I mean
You know I have been wound eating the same thing, but I’m not sure, I know you can change some things with how the blinkers are with the turn signal stalk, but not sure if you can put them back to regular. I will take a look and see if I can do it to mine.
Would that relay for the turn signal work for a 2010 corolla? Or what would u recommend for a 2010 corolla s? I read previous comments about u trimming the relay? Could u help explain that? I really wanna fix this issue with my “10 corolla to avoid getting pulled over. Thank you for the video, keep the corolla videos coming.
It will work on any 2010 corolla, it doesn’t matter what trim level it is. And for the trimming it’s hard to describe it without a picture, but on the diode dynamics relay there are 2 tabs that stick out farther than the rest of the relay, and you need to trim them so they are flush with the bottom of the relay, so when you push it back onto the car it will go all the way on.
@@GraveyardWarden there are 2 Philips screws under the panel that is under the steering wheel. All the rest are just clips that you have to pull the other covers off.

@@BrandonStellmachGood call man. I just installed the DD Flasher and tail to turn modules. Once I get another set of LEDs I'll tap into the reverse wire for an added set of reverse lights.

These look so good. I think I might just do this to mine. I have a ‘13 model
It’s a cool mod to do!

How did you get the original flasher relay out? I have a 13 Corolla s and I can’t get the oem relay out! Help please
Very handy, thank you
I am glad the video helped out!

That’s weird that it’s popping a fuse, but I believe I always looked for the 7443 bulbs. And I have never had a problem.
I can’t get my oem flasher relay out of my 2013 Corolla? What’s the trick I’m missing here?
It’s been a while since I have took mine out, but all I remember was giving it a good tug and it came out.
Wonder if that’ll work on my 2008 corolla
If the corolla has a flasher module, you should be able to swap it out like I did.
when i click your link for the module it comes up for wrz and toyota scion frs is this a error?
No this is the exact one I used on my car. Toyota and Subaru use the same exact flasher modules.
👍

I think it’s better than the stock unit. If that helps you at all.

Does this help with hyper flashing?
Yea the flasher relay fixes the hyper flash.
Red leds in an amber housing? Boy what are you thinking? 😅
😂 I ended up tinting the tail lights later on, and it hides the ember more so it’s not as noticeable.
