      John Wesley said he was a man of one book, the Bible. Could it be that he didn't allow society to change his mind, but neither did Paul.

    I understand these concerns, and I most heartily support the Simple Plan which calls for removal of the offensive language and prohibitions. I find nothing in the teachings of Jesus to support exclusion and judgment, but numerous teachings and parables to support humility, kindness, love. See Matthew 25: 31-46 for just one example. If we cannot pass the Simple Plan, the One Church Plan would certainly be preferable to the Traditional Plan, which defies the teachings of Jesus and attempts to prevent others from following them.

      I always found it interesting...the goats being on the left while the sheep are the ones on the right. Remarkable layers of truth in the word of God!
