I know my random youtube opinion does not matter at all, but even if I speak for one other guy, thank you for bringing this type of artistic engineering to my recommended list. Mr. Leno. I have been watching your channel for a long time and have been using this channel as a teaching instrument for my son. Bt the weird thing is he is so interested in you. He cant understand how 1 man can have such an amazing collection, and be funny, and so down to earth. My son is a math wiz, over time he has been looking up values for the cars and motorcycles that are in your collection. It upsets him that he cant put a number on it. I tell him it's not about the money, Mr. Leno is not about the money. He is about keeping history alive, literally, you drive everything! If I could win a drawing or anything to meet you it would be for my son. He is your idol and have become his idol. You are a classy man, and noone can deny that. Please let me know if there is any way I can get my son to meet you. It would make his dreams come true. As a father I have to do my best to make sure those dreams come true. If you read this please and thank you sir.

    Man... the guy is sweating (shirt check) but he doesn’t appear at all nervous. He is thoughtful, articulate, and has designed an awesome machine that appears to be a great blend of tech and vintage-inspired aesthetic. If I could afford one, I’d buy one. Would be great if they could produce this in both options: petroleum and electric. Thanks Jay & Co for sharing this... you’ve got a great platform, and ordinary joes like myself get to live vicariously through you and your guests. I’ve got a few little motors (bikes), but nothing that holds a candle to any of this. Keep up the good work!

    • @dontaylor8451
      @dontaylor8451 5 лет назад +1

      Electric- So, where would you put the batteries? Just go-ahead and ruin the sweet design.....Electric-Blah!

    • @VintageVantage79
      @VintageVantage79 5 лет назад

      Always a heckler, eh? I didn’t say it NEEDED to be electric, but it would be an interesting option. This entire concept may be academic, anyway... I hope not, because ABC Motors has a ring to it and love the design. Plus, the majority of the bike would remain the same - would still have vintage look, high-tech elements, and be more efficient. Just saying it would be great to be able to produce both. Make no mistake... there is no sound that replaces a petrol motorcycle engine, one cylinder (a thumper) or twin.

      A couple years ago Jay showed this engine on a stand that he got from this inventor. Aluminum and air-cooled. They didn't know anything about it really. I would like to see then make that a runner. The engine looks like you would put out the amount of torque that one of them Merlin engines or Rolls Royce.

    • @CrazyBear65
      @CrazyBear65 5 лет назад +1

      It looks too much like a bicycle to me. I don't like the low-slung bars that force the rider to lean forward. I prefer to ride Rider Erectus. In other words, sitting up, in a comfortable position, with dirtbike bars on low risers.

    • @DirtFlyer
      @DirtFlyer 5 лет назад +10

Usually cut into tiny white bread triangles featuring a faint suggestion of "dressing," which is basically mayo with less flavor. Your choices are cucumber, white cheese, boiled egg, or one razor-thin slice of mystery meat you can see through if you hold it up to the light. Really not bad if you eat about 20 or 30 of them.

    Nice build! Very straightforward and minimalistic, just like the board track racers, but a LOT more advanced! Less is more sometimes (or at least the appearance of 'less'). I am a bit surprised that he stuck with the 6v. charging system. I would have grabbed a 12v. stator, etc. out of a newer Honda, but hey, it does work!😉👍👍

    I think this bike is an awesome salute to the bike racers of the 20s-30s era. I only have one issue. The Headlamp looks too low. The bikes own tire causes a blind spot at night with the headlamp where it is at. But since it is a homage to older bikes I can forgive that. Other then that the bike is beautiful. A perfect example where old styles meet modern engineering.

    • @antraxxslingshots

      You are right.
      I think he said he kind of wanted it to have everything it needs, i don´t think it will be possible to get it really onto the street with a license plate tho? No idea how strickt the rules in the states are but just thinking about possible cashtests turnign this into a street legal bike seems to be impossible.

    • @stephencivic1989
      @stephencivic1989 5 лет назад

      @@antraxxslingshots I think it would be possible to utilize it as a street legal vehicle. After all bicycles (motorized or not) are street legal. And adding a bracket for the rear license plate would also fix that. And either moving the headlamp or adding an identical one would solve the blindspot.
