Sorry to correct you, but if you read the description and listen closer to the song then you'll see that the lyric actually says "sick of the cage, that's just the beginning". I interpreted that as meaning that the people inside of the walls are sick of living their life as sheep with no curiosity about the outside world. This fits in well with Eren and Armin wanting to see the sea and the rest of the outside world.

That said if I could make some suggestions to a first-timer. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Attack on Titan which is actually the show where this theme comes from, Nana, Yu-Yu Hakusho and My Hero Academia. As for modern content i am not a fan of 18 years old overcoming their puberty and mental issues by saving the world with/without enourmously oversized sword with/without giant tentacles and robots. No inuslts tho) Is there some anime, which allows you to think and without these things above (also without gore)?
@@КириллЛинкер-о5ф Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one I'm always going to suggest it's not super gory but you do have to deal with the occasional bit of blood but I'm assuming that's not as big of a deal it can get really surreal in places but I think you would like it. Nana is not an action anime and in fact as more of a slice of life deal the music is fucking amazing and frankly I would highly recommend it to anyone but I also realize it's not everyone's cup of tea so approach with that mind and go in objectively. My hero Academia is literally a superhero anime. So no tentacles, no giant fuck off swords and it's honestly just a really cute show and there is at least enough fanservice to keep your attention in between fights and training. Attack on Titan is literally none of the things you mentioned above and believe me the heroes definitely take more than a few ass beatings no one is a "hero" in this show they're all just trying to stay alive now that said it is sorta gory so probably not your thing. Your lie in April is a really good one if you want to cry. Blood + is probably one of my favorites of all time. It's a vampire anime (sort of) it's got a female lead who is actually really interesting and the story is frankly kind of insane but I do think you would like it that said again you have to deal with the occasional bit of blood actual "gore" however is pretty on the limited side due to the manner in which these creatures die.
I think you should check out Death Note. Despite the name, there isn't any gore. To be honest, the whole entire thing revolves around thinking. This was the first ever anime I've ever watched and still my favorite. Please please please watch it, it's so amazing I could talk about every bit of it for hours. You definitely have to pause it a few times just to take in how smart and amazing a scene was. Also, you sometimes become to distraught with yourself because so much of is all up to yourself. Who is right, who is wrong? Who's the villain, who is the good guy? Every single part of is so well thought out, even down to the instrument's role in songs for the background.

I'm not sure who came up with "sing from the cage, that's just the beginning" but that lyric is so damn good. It can be applied to SO many groups of people who have been trampled on by others.
Sorry to correct you, but if you read the description and listen closer to the song then you'll see that the lyric actually says "sick of the cage, that's just the beginning". I interpreted that as meaning that the people inside of the walls are sick of living their life as sheep with no curiosity about the outside world. This fits in well with Eren and Armin wanting to see the sea and the rest of the outside world.

Anime is like any other form of media there is a lot of different shows with a lot of different premises and they're not all weeb bait either. That said if I could make some suggestions to a first-timer. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Attack on Titan which is actually the show where this theme comes from, Nana, Yu-Yu Hakusho and My Hero Academia. Loved these tho. As for modern content i am not a fan of 18 years old overcoming their puberty and mental issues by saving the world with/without enourmously oversized sword with/without giant tentacles and robots. No inuslts tho) Is there some anime, which allows you to think and without these things above (also without gore)?
@@КириллЛинкер-о5ф Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one I'm always going to suggest it's not super gory but you do have to deal with the occasional bit of blood but I'm assuming that's not as big of a deal it can get really surreal in places but I think you would like it. Nana is not an action anime and in fact as more of a slice of life deal the music is fucking amazing and frankly I would highly recommend it to anyone but I also realize it's not everyone's cup of tea so approach with that mind and go in objectively.
My hero Academia is literally a superhero anime. So no tentacles, no giant fuck off swords and it's honestly just a really cute show and there is at least enough fanservice to keep your attention in between fights and training.
Attack on Titan is literally none of the things you mentioned above and believe me the heroes definitely take more than a few ass beatings no one is a "hero" in this show they're all just trying to stay alive now that said it is sorta gory so probably not your thing.
Your lie in April is a really good one if you want to cry.
Blood + is probably one of my favorites of all time. It's a vampire anime (sort of) it's got a female lead who is actually really interesting and the story is frankly kind of insane but I do think you would like it that said again you have to deal with the occasional bit of blood actual "gore" however is pretty on the limited side due to the manner in which these creatures die.
I think you should check out Death Note. Despite the name, there isn't any gore. To be honest, the whole entire thing revolves around thinking. This was the first ever anime I've ever watched and still my favorite. Please please please watch it, it's so amazing I could talk about every bit of it for hours. You definitely have to pause it a few times just to take in how smart and amazing a scene was. Also, you sometimes become to distraught with yourself because so much of is all up to yourself. Who is right, who is wrong? Who's the villain, who is the good guy? Every single part of is so well thought out, even down to the instrument's role in songs for the background.
As someone who loves to translate songs while staying faithful to the meaning, the meter, and the rhyme... Hats off to you!
