@@mrshorn5248 Please allow me to share my best friend's story with you. This family knows where to turn in times of grief. Family Story Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete. We laughed together, played games, sang, and enjoyed listening as our 16-year-old son, Ethan, played the piano for us. I packed a lunch for Ethan for a church mountain hike he was going on the following day. My mother (who was visiting from out of state) and I woke early with Ethan on Saturday morning. He hugged me and smiled, never pulling away or rushing me. He got in the car, waved, said he'd see me later and he loved me. It was hard to watch my "new driver" heading out on his own that morning. As Ethan pulled out of the gate, I turned to my mother and said, "It's just so hard letting go." Little did I know how much "letting go" I was really doing. That was the last time I saw Ethan. He did not make it home that evening. That afternoon, a friend tried to contact my husband, leaving an urgent message to call him back. He tried several times to return the call to no avail. As we were preparing supper, an overwhelming feeling of deep concern for Ethan filled my heart. I quietly blinked back tears. I glanced out the window, half expecting to see a police officer pull up to the house, but no one arrived. However, within a few minutes, a patrol car DID pull into the driveway. In my heart, I feared the worst. My husband and I went out to meet the officer, who confirmed our fears. Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries. Our hearts were crushed; they still are. Yet, in all of our brokenness, deep, continual grief and loneliness, our family has such a blessed Hope and assurance that we will see our dear son and brother again. You see, when Ethan was a young boy, he was saved; he put his faith in Jesus alone to forgive his sins and to take him to Heaven when he died. He realized some very important truths from the Bible that he would want to share with you. His Story Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23) “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12) He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell. “For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price] “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8) Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b) Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour! “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28) Your Story What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son. The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready? “...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) “(...behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2c) ****************************** This testimony has been made into a tract form as well, so if you or your church are interested in having them to pass out, please go to libertyfaith.net and you will find the contact info there. I have left the earth, But I am still about, I kiss your cheek at night, When your light is out. I am the wind, That blows in your hair, I am spirit now, I am near. I sit on your shoulder, I see all that you do, My body is gone, Still my love is with you. When times are tough, I hold your hand, You are never alone, Together we stand. If you are in trouble, I shall help you out, I am your instinct When you doubt. I am the angel Assigned to you, You will never be alone, For I am next to you.
thank you, i am going through a rut, my mom passed away a year ago from cancer and i am 16 and it hurts. i miss her, she was my best friend and i can’t focus on my school work. UPDATE: All of the replies have helped me immensely. I feel less alone in my grief and have actually managed to grow from when I wrote this comment. There is a light at the end of the tunnel guys❤️
ahw i am so sorry, i feel you !! i lost my dad 9 months ago, he killed himself. i miss him so much. ily. take care and remember that she loves you.. so much !! u re not alone :)
I’m in the same position you are, my mom is gone and I’m 16. It hurts to know that they won’t be there to see so many moments of my life but at the very least I can strive to make her proud and to honor her.
My dad died last week, I can't cope through a day without wailing in pain, I've stressed myself so much I've gotten a cold from all the aching grief I've experienced over the last week. To top it off I am working on his slideshow for his celebration of life next week, and I feel useless unable to do it because every video and photo makes me cry, I won't give the job to anyone else because I feel like this is my last chance to show how much he means to me, now one can do a better slideshow.
I lost my granny last week, she was all I had since the death of my parents. Now I feel so alone in this world it's like my own has finished, i can't even concentrate on my studies, it's so painful.
I don't know what it's like to lose your parents but I know how hard it is to grieve when studying because I lost my all three of my grandparents a few days or weeks before university exams. Just think that you're doing it for them. Is there anyone you can look to for emotional/financial support?
💕💕 hugs and love for you sweetheart xxxx. I hope you are feeling stronger and perhaps more centred within yourself. It will come a step at a time. I'm a 70 year old nanna. I am positive that you will in time be able to feel comfortable with your memories xxx I will say as a nanna who is getting on - I have no intention of leaving my grandchild. If there is an afterlife ( I would say there is due a few solid experiences I have had over the years) I suspect you will be able to sense / know 99.5 of a time that your family will let you know that they are still there showing they love you. I shall send you a huge hug now . Be gentle and thoughtful about taking time to care for you xxx
@@kidwiththekoolaid There is hope. Jesus loves you more than you can ever possibly know and he wants to have a personal relationship with you. Lost my wife 3 years ago. She was the love of my life, and I can easily say that the most difficult days with her, were a paradise, compared to whatever else I have experienced. I am nothing now. I am not even a shadow of myself. I am a man desperately cupping every single memory of her, like a man cupping ash in fear that it might blow away. I have no reason to exist, and the greatest wish and only wish I have, is to lie beside her. The price for the greatest love in your life, is a grief you cannot possibly imagine. So love fully, unconditionally and with everything you have. Because if you do not, the rest of your days will be spent regretting you did not.
I understand your pain. I lost my husband too. He was the love of my life. You are still here for a reason. Find a purpose to make someone else’s life better. It can be simple things. Take someone to lunch. Give a child a toy. Give a lonely person a flower. Buy someone a cup of coffee. I truly believe that when you hand out love and joy, it will return to you. When the sky cries, the earth gives us flowers. Stay strong. Prayers of healing and restoration for your soul. 🙏🙏🙏 You will see her again one day. In the meantime, think about what she would be doing and let her live through you. If she likes the beach, go to the beach. If she likes to read, read a book. That’s how you can keep her memory alive instead of just being sad. I wish you the best.
I just lost my grandpa an hour ago. I wasn’t able to even get to the hospital in time. But the nurse held up the phone so I could talk to him and for the first time since getting there he responded. He mumbled something and nodded his head. He even tried to open his eyes. They pulled the plug less than an hour later. I can’t believe he’s gone. Goodbye grandpa. I love you.
I cannot cope with the pain of losing my mum anymore, 7 weeks tomorrow she passed and I was not with her. She died in a hospital bed alone and the guilt is undescribable, she was the only person who loved me, I am lost and alone and just want to be with her
My mum passed away 7weeks ago i’ve never felt a pain like this before in my life i love you mum hope your happy up in heaven i miss you so much my heart hurts until we meet again 🪽🤍💫✨
i still can't believe my mom died...i wake up thinking it must be a bad dream then i remind myself it's real and she's gone, and now i'm suppose to just get on with life and find a job, this really sucks

I’m so sorry. ❤ I totally understand losing a mom, especially at a young age . I’m 16 n my mom died too. It was so unexpected. Sometimes, I keep thinking she’s coming back it’s just so hard now. ❤stay strong
My son died 2 months ago at age 29. A mom is not supposed to have to bury her child. Sometimes I think about texting him and realize I can't then the tears start and I feel lost.
I lost my mother last year and I became emotionally vulnerable and oversensitive after that incident. Her death entirely changed me. I was reminded again and again that I cry too much, I shouldn't be emotional all the time, I am weak, there are people out there who have had worse. This all broke me and I am still dealing with it. People made me feel that if I am weak if I cry over small things and get sad over everything. First my mother's death and then these comments made me feel so shallow, I kept on fighting and reminding myself that this is normal, I am not alone but deep down all this just broke me to the core.
I am so sorry for your loss. Same has happened with me 3 days ago when i got news that My Gf is no more in this world. i can't describe my emotions in words. We both loved each other so much and she was very closest to me! I only had her along with my parents and sisters. And i would share all of my life activities, secrets with her. But now, She left me all alone in this world! 😭😭😭
I know it’s not the same as a human but I lost my cat on April 12th 2024 at 3:10PM. It’s been so difficult to continue on without him as one of my first experiences of grief.
I lost my brother for more than 20 years and I’m still grieving, everyday, some days better than others, but today it’s very bad, I miss him so, so so bad.
I lost my granny in may and my mom 2 months ago. I'm pretty much alone now. I live alone, I cry alone and I try to survive alone. There's nothing that can describe the pain and sadness that comes from losing your family in 5 months, losing your home, your cat and your future. I had to grow up within hours and get myself together. I can't describe how unbelievable lonely I am these days and how much I want to end this disaster of a life.
@@VKeys97 Thank you, yes I'm doing a little better. Some days are better and others are dark again but I know the good days will be more in the future. I, fortunately, have many good friends (some I never thought would stay by my side and help) and an awesome boyfriend who I will move in with in summer. I decided to leave the city I grew up in after I'm graduating this summer and hope to build a new life.
@@sweetcherryblossom9708 Yes, it was the thing I thought could never happen to me but I also learned how awesome the people are around me. I went to therapy before and continue and I found a grief counselor who helps me to understand what's currently happening... I believe someday it will get better...
I’m so sorry for your losses. I lost my mother. It is very challenging. I believe your mother and grandmother wants the best from you. Even though they are gone physically, they remain with you emotionally, spiritually, and mentally. Peace be with you❤️
I just lost my sister on Friday. The day before my birthday. It doesn't feel real, and I worry people think I don't care. It just hasn't hit me yet. I will miss her. Such a beautiful soul.
I lost my baby brother to a stroke 3 months ago at 33 and it's so soul shattering. I don't know how I will pull through. I do not know how I will survive yet survival is what I will do because if I didn't die on the day of cremation I am fated to be here, at least, for a bit more. It hurts so much. I wish he didn't have to go. 😞
I just lost my grandma on christmass eve,she was everything for me,im not very talkative so everyday at school is a bit of a challenge for me, but everyday i got home she was there for me,prepared to give me that cozy feeling of a home.i was pretty much seeing her everyday of my life but now when she is gone i dont know how im gonna make it through this period of life,i feel so lonely, lost and angry at myself because she passed away so suddenly and i dont feel like i gave her proper goodbye she deserved. Im thankfull for this video and its message.
Lost my mom 3 months ago and now my dad and i am in abroad alone. I land in this video because been two days now i cannot sleep fully. Keep waking up 3-4x times.
Powerful message and I thank you very much! I lost my Mom and best friend last November. I’m an only child so we were very close and I feel stuck in my grief. I’m 51 years old, I’m blessed to have my family but I feel like I talk about it too much for them so I avoid bringing her up. That just doesn’t seem right though. I’m still faking it until I make it! I’m sending hugs and love to everyone here. 🌹
Don't worry, my mum is also unconsolable after grandma passed away. Speak to your children, they're going through something similar. I lost all three of my grandparents in the last 13 months and all three times, I was alone doing university exams. It's hard having to do an exam two days after a loved one passes away (my exam started at the same time as my grandma's funeral - I hope she was proud that I did well in that exam).

Your mum and friend may not be here but they are in a better place watching over you.its not too late cause they still want you to give all that love to people around you now so you will have no regrets if anyone one them should depert this earth early (God forbid).
I lost my only child and grandchildren due to estrangement. While it's not a physical death, it's death of a relationship. I'm beyond devastated. I'm in deepest depths of dispair.
the laugh to much hit hard. i’ve been feeling guilty from having a good time with friends recently, and had a breakdown last night. hearing that made me feel so much better. thank you.
my mum passed away nearly 7 months ago to cancer. it was really traumatic helping with the palliative care and having to visit the hospice then go back to school. my teachers have formed a protective shield around me, and my dad and i get along even better than we did before. i'm working on being kinder to myself and sometimes need a reminder that it's okay to cry. thank you so much ♡
Sorry to hear that. I just lost my brother to brain cancer 2 days ago and I'm devastated... does it get easier because I'm in so much pain 😭. I loved him so much, he was my best friend.
I unexpectedly lost my 23 year old cousin back in March. I’ve been so beyond devastated. I’ve been having tons of ups and downs. But not reaching out to my cousin sooner and telling him how much I love him is my biggest regret. So part of my grief has been a learning experience. Ive been able to reconnect with more of my family. Although I’m devastated, I wanna keep on living. Life is for living. Some days you’re gonna grieve more t(an others, nothing wrong with that. Some days are gonna be better than others, nothing wrong with that either. And whoever you’ve lost, they’re still with you. And they always will be. But the biggest thing I’ve learned from my cousins death is if you wanna reach out to someone and reconnect with someone don’t wait and do it. Tell them how much you love them while you still can
thanks for this message. I lost my mom and best friend almost 6 years ago and on May 24,2021 I lost my 34 year old son. My only child. I am now beside myself. :(
I am so sorry for your loss. 😭😭😭
i learned its ok to say im broken right now and im not ready to put myself back together, i just have to be patient with myself. i didnt know it was possible to miss someone, my pet cat this much, more than my own human family members who've passed away. my best friend for 14 years, since she was born in my own bedroom. i feel like i learned some lessons about love too late. all i can do is act like she's still here and keep her company where we sat every night. i keep hoping to find some meaning in it all. there was only one skittle in the world and im at least happy i got to get to know her and be with her. 💐🐈💐 r.i.p. skittle
My mother died 5 months ago and my father died 20 months ago. It's been especially difficult since my mom died because I am now grieving both of them at times.
To anyone grieving , Oh how my heart goes out to you! May He remove the sting of death (“O death, where is your sting?!”). I pray for an overwhelming abundance of grace. May His peace keep guard over your hearts and your minds. May He grant you a living hope for the future. My heart is with you. Jesus The Christ loves you , unconditionally , and His arms are open to receive you to Himself .
I lost a father figure and my best friend in the span of 2 months. At the time I was barely 12. After my friend’s passing I went into complete auto pilot and shut down. I don’t really remember anything aside from a meeting about sending me to summer school because of how low my grades dropped
Today is my uncles funeral. He passed away about a month ago and my mother never took me to see him because she didn't what me to be upset when he didn't remember me because of his dementia. Its been about 4 years since I last saw him in person and now I never will.
My mom died in a car accident she didn't caused... Almost 3 years ago. Feels like yesterday I saw her the last time. After a while the pain felt different.
I lost my friend briley to suicide a few weeks ago and still cant stop thinking about her. She was the sweetest girl and died a week after her 18th birthday. i just miss her innocence so much, ive never met anyone like her. Rest well bri.
I just lost a friend that I didn’t really talk to but it still really hurts knowing I will never be able to see or speak to them ever again. I feel like I could have prevented it from ever happening :/
I lost my brother today he's only 18 he's too young and the saddest thing is i can't be with him because of this pandemic and quarantine, i can't be with my brother for his last days ans it made my heart broken T^T
I’m so so sorry, I have also lost my dad a month ago now, he had a heart attack, I was the last one to see him alive when I went to get something to eat for us, he was perfectly normal, then got home and found him gone..he was only 54. My best wishes to you and your family, I truly am sorry because it’s so hard not having them here anymore and trying to continue life without them is so difficult. My sincere condolences 💐♥️
@Joey Style I’m doing much better. His passing did made me a stronger person. I can totally relate to not having his presence around anymore. How are you feeling now?
@@Xvq37X thank you so much for your thoughtful and compassionate response. Yes, I’m feeling much better but this new way of coping has been a fascinating journey. How are you feeling now?
My boyfriend died two weeks ago I don't recognize myself anymore 😭 I miss us so much 💔 He was 24 his death was so choking I feel so empty I don't cry as much now I just feel numb
thank you, this made me feel better. i lost both of my grandfathers whom i loved very much. one last year due to cancer, and now today, due to covid. it’s really hard to grieve when you haven’t finished grieving for the other person. may they rest in peace. may the person you’re here for rest in peace. i know it’s hard, but you can calm yourself down by knowing that they’re in a better place now 🙏
@Pocket Goblin I appreciate you for asking, thank you, I am doing better now. I am sorry for your loss, I understand how it feels. It’s normal to feel numb at your first loss, that’s what happened to me too. You may have an emotional breakdown unexpectedly, but eventually you will get used to their absence it and understand that life goes on. Whenever I think of my grandfathers, I get sad knowing that they’re not there anymore but with time it gets better.
My mum passed two years ago today ..I haven’t grieved ..can’t talk about it can’t talk about her .. I well up but then change my thoughts but I miss her sooo much..
Someone asked me,”What do you say to someone who just lost a son?” I said,”You don’t have to say anything. Be there so they can have a shoulder to cry on. Make them coffee. Sweep their floors or wash their dishes, watch a movie, hold their hand. You don’t need to say anything. Just be there and let them know you care. Call them and ask how they’re doing. If they want to talk, just listen. Don’t try to fix them. It just takes time.”
Thank you, thank you, thank you ... ... compassionately helpful.. more helpful than anything I read n learnt abt coping n living with losses n griefing. 🌸🌸
My dad died April 12th, 2023. This is hard! I feel like i have no one right now. I grew up the black sheep of my family, so it seems everyone that has cared for me are gone now. Honestly I feel like dying. I have had family members i had never seen before and those i have seen once in my 40+ years being on this planet, folks he was associated with, including his Fraternal & Masonic Orders- avoid & talk doggedly to me as if im not supposed to feel anything. I deal with PTSD and other things, so i have been going through this trial dealing with my own and was refused my medication by my healthcare provider. He had a house bought and paid off with many Assets, bills coming in. He wasnt even dead a whole 24 hours and folks were asking about his things. I have 2 small children and am trying to keep it together but i just feel so alone. Just tightness in my chest for several days... Scared i will have a ateoke or heart attack because i dont know how much of this i can take.
I am just a stranger but you deserve to find the light at the end of the tunnel. It may seem hard now, but you’re doing great to acknowledge where to go when you feel lost. You’re not alone, stay strong for the ones that have loved and still love.
Today I found out about the sudden death of a good friend (forever 16 🕊️) and the death of a close family friend who died due to an ignored mental condition. I'm just about to start collage and I don't want grief to bring me down and stop me from achieving. Ive only just been able to stop crying.
Grief is like love with nowhere to go.
This is why it hurts so bad and for so long.
It’s like having your heart thorn apart from the inside.
That's how I feel . Lost my son in March. To covit19. My heart is broken.
@@mrshorn5248 Please allow me to share my best friend's story with you. This family knows where to turn in times of grief.
Family Story
Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete.
Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries.
His Story
Everyone is a sinner. Sin is any violation of God’s Law. God is holy, just and righteous, and He cannot allow sin in His presence. Ethan realized that he - like all of us - had sinned; and his sin separated Him from God.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; ” (Romans 3:23)
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12)
He understood that, because of his sin, he deserved to spend eternity in Hell.
“For the wages of sin is death;” (Romans 6:23a) [Wages: price]
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Ethan was sorry for his sin, repented (turned), and received by faith the free gift that God offered to him.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
Because of this great salvation, Ethan lived his life serving Jesus. He worked hard to spread this Good News to the world. He is alive in Heaven with Jesus today; and because of this great HOPE in Christ, we know we will see him again soon - not because he was a great kid, but because of his faith in the great Saviour!

Only this month I lost my grandma and I myself cannot stop crying either, at first I never felt a single emotion but now, I feel everything💙 sorry for your loss too
I have left the earth,
But I am still about,
I kiss your cheek at night,
When your light is out.
I am the wind,
That blows in your hair,
I am spirit now,
I am near.
I sit on your shoulder,
I see all that you do,
My body is gone,
Still my love is with you.
When times are tough,
I hold your hand,
You are never alone,
Together we stand.
If you are in trouble,
I shall help you out,
I am your instinct
When you doubt.
I am the angel
Assigned to you,
You will never be alone,
For I am next to you.
What is the title of this poem? Beautiful!
How wonderful!
Thank you so much

My dad died last week, I can't cope through a day without wailing in pain, I've stressed myself so much I've gotten a cold from all the aching grief I've experienced over the last week. To top it off I am working on his slideshow for his celebration of life next week, and I feel useless unable to do it because every video and photo makes me cry, I won't give the job to anyone else because I feel like this is my last chance to show how much he means to me, now one can do a better slideshow.
My dad died last week, cancer. I had to do the same for his funeral. You are so so strong. And it's so so difficult. Big hugs.
I lost my granny last week, she was all I had since the death of my parents. Now I feel so alone in this world it's like my own has finished, i can't even concentrate on my studies, it's so painful.

I love you.
I know I'm late but... My condolences to your grandfather.
I cannot cope with the pain of losing my mum anymore, 7 weeks tomorrow she passed and I was not with her. She died in a hospital bed alone and the guilt is undescribable, she was the only person who loved me, I am lost and alone and just want to be with her

Allow me to share my best friend's story with you. This family knows where to turn in times of grief.
Family Story
Little did our family of six know that Friday evening, September 24th, 2021, would be the last night our family would be complete.
Hesitantly, he told us our son had fallen off of
a bluff and had succumbed to his injuries.
Ethan believed that Jesus, God’s Son, paid the price for all sin when He died on the cross - because His sinless sacrifice was the only thing that could satisfy the just demands of a righteous, holy God. Jesus was buried in a borrowed tomb, but He arose the third day, triumphant over sin, death, and Hell. Jesus is alive today!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
Your Story
What about you? What if you had fallen to your death that day - What if you were to die today? Where will you spend eternity - Heaven or the Lake of Fire? There will not be any parties in the Lake of Fire. It is a place of eternal torment for those who reject God's Son.
The Word of God is very clear that there is only One Way to Heaven.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
We did not know that Ethan would step into eternity that day; however, because he put his faith in Jesus alone for his salvation, Ethan was ready to go. Some day - perhaps today - you will take your last breath here on earth, and you will step into eternity. Where you spend eternity is determined by what you do with Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him or reject Him? You are not promised another day or another breath. Eternity begins soon - Are you ready?
“...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31b)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“(...behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Corinthians 6:2c)

My son died 2 months ago at age 29. A mom is not supposed to have to bury her child. Sometimes I think about texting him and realize I can't then the tears start and I feel lost.
I bet you’re the best mum ever and just know your son is looking down on you smiling ❤️
My mom passed away 22 years ago my heart is beyond repair it hurts so much
".... Grief is just love with no place to go." By Jamie Anderson. This quote helped me today.
Everybody does NOT grieve in the same way! Thank you.
I feel so damned alone because the way I'm grieving my dear friend and beloved pet bird spike. Sometimes I wish I didn't feel anything at all.
Beautiful!!! Thank you!!💕👍🤗
I just miss him so much. I want to hug him and say I love him so much
But he's already gone
Nothing I can do to make him comeback to me
I am so sorry for your loss.
It’s been so difficult to continue on without him as one of my first experiences of grief.
my s/o passed away 3 months ago and i still can't believe it happened, i don't know how to grieve. thank you for this video
I am really sorry to hear this. I hope u are in a better emotional place now? If not, i hope you know so many people are looking out for you.
That's so devastating and life changing. I'm truly sorry you're experiencing such immense pain. I hope you are getting support and counseling. ❤️😪
My brother also died unexpectedly of a heart attack a month ago. It's so unbearably hard to just survive without him.
You grieve because you loved.
ye my cat just passed away this morning, love you molyn
I just lost my grandma on christmass eve,she was everything for me,im not very talkative so everyday at school is a bit of a challenge for me, but everyday i got home she was there for me,prepared to give me that cozy feeling of a home.i was pretty much seeing her everyday of my life but now when she is gone i dont know how im gonna make it through this period of life,i feel so lonely, lost and angry at myself because she passed away so suddenly and i dont feel like i gave her proper goodbye she deserved.
Im thankfull for this video and its message.
10 years later and they never left my mind..
God bless you man ♥️
Don't worry, my mum is also unconsolable after grandma passed away.

I'm in deepest depths of dispair.
my dad’s father died 2 hours ago. Thank you.
the laugh to much hit hard. i’ve been feeling guilty from having a good time with friends recently, and had a breakdown last night. hearing that made me feel so much better. thank you.
my mum passed away nearly 7 months ago to cancer. it was really traumatic helping with the palliative care and having to visit the hospice then go back to school. my teachers have formed a protective shield around me, and my dad and i get along even better than we did before. i'm working on being kinder to myself and sometimes need a reminder that it's okay to cry. thank you so much ♡
Sorry to hear that. I just lost my brother to brain cancer 2 days ago and I'm devastated... does it get easier because I'm in so much pain 😭. I loved him so much, he was my best friend.
Thank you all for creating this and even more for sharing it ❤️ i really needed to hear this for over 20 years 💔😭 thank you ❤️
My grandpa just died I found out 2 hours ago thank you for this video ❤
Tell them how much you love them while you still can
do you have some good memories?
Thank you is all I can say. My Grandad has passed away and this has helped me.
I wish these messages had been given to me as a young teenager grieving for my mother. Thank you for a very useful resource that can be shared

thank u, my best friend / roommate commited suic1d3 and I feel so guilty bc I'm not crying like everyone else... but it is hurting so much!
i learned its ok to say im broken right now and im not ready to put myself back together, i just have to be patient with myself. i didnt know it was possible to miss someone, my pet cat this much, more than my own human family members who've passed away. my best friend for 14 years, since she was born in my own bedroom. i feel like i learned some lessons about love too late. all i can do is act like she's still here and keep her company where we sat every night. i keep hoping to find some meaning in it all. there was only one skittle in the world and im at least happy i got to get to know her and be with her.
💐🐈💐
r.i.p. skittle

Oh how my heart goes out to you!

Mine did too. I definitely share your feelings of anxiety and being unable to breathe.

Today is my uncles funeral. He passed away about a month ago and my mother never took me to see him because she didn't what me to be upset when he didn't remember me because of his dementia. Its been about 4 years since I last saw him in person and now I never will.
Thanks for this guys x

I lost my friend briley to suicide a few weeks ago and still cant stop thinking about her. She was the sweetest girl and died a week after her 18th birthday. i just miss her innocence so much, ive never met anyone like her. Rest well bri.
I just lost a friend that I didn’t really talk to but it still really hurts knowing I will never be able to see or speak to them ever again. I feel like I could have prevented it from ever happening :/
They left because they weren't part of your scripts
Death is certain so stop feeling guilty cause it does more harm than good to the body

thank you, this made me feel better. i lost both of my grandfathers whom i loved very much. one last year due to cancer, and now today, due to covid. it’s really hard to grieve when you haven’t finished grieving for the other person. may they rest in peace. may the person you’re here for rest in peace. i know it’s hard, but you can calm yourself down by knowing that they’re in a better place now 🙏
@Pocket Goblin I appreciate you for asking, thank you, I am doing better now.
@Pocket Goblin Everyone deals with it differently don't worry.

Just lost my uncle can't stop crying
😊
Someone asked me,”What do you say to someone who just lost a son?” I said,”You don’t have to say anything. Be there so they can have a shoulder to cry on. Make them coffee. Sweep their floors or wash their dishes, watch a movie, hold their hand. You don’t need to say anything. Just be there and let them know you care. Call them and ask how they’re doing. If they want to talk, just listen. Don’t try to fix them. It just takes time.”
Really helpful, always useful to see you're not alone in grief :)
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you ...
... compassionately helpful.. more helpful than anything I read n learnt abt coping n living with losses n griefing. 🌸🌸
thank youu!
Such an important topic, this video offers great advice.
Thank you!
