Mariusz would've lost the first bout according to Sumo rules. Whoever touches the ground with anything but their feet or is thrown out of the circle first loses. Mariusz' knee and elbow clearly hit the ground before Vasyl lands outside the ring. Entertaining tho' 👍

They used to do weird things like wrestling and arm wrestling. Those things don't translate to pure strength at all, not even close. It was good entertainment though.
Pudzianowski lost the one with the throw. 0:07, if knee touches canvas, bout is lost. At 1:50 slow down, Pudzian's knee touches the canvas before Vasyl touched outside the ring.
theres an alternate reality out there where event organisers screwed up and put the crowd waaaayyy to close to the ring and because of that somebody died after being hit with a strongman in the head
Should've disqualified Pudzianowski and thrown him out of the entire competition (doubly funny to have him led out in cuffs). He repeatedly physically assaulted his opponent (trying to rip the hairs from his chest). That's incredibly disrespectful, doubly so because he purposely did it during Virastyuk's introduction (after Virastyuk had respectfully like Pud be introduced without a hitch); intentionally trying to tilt the opponent to get an advantage. Horrendous sportsmanship, no proper contact sport event would let something like fly, definitely not twice in a row. Absolutely pathetic.
I wish they did that now a days .
Love to see Shaw vs Thor and Hall vs Oberst. What a show that would be!

I love real sumo but I prefer these rules in strongman sumo. This emphasizes strength more than technique.
