1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water

1/4 tsp cardamon
2 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp nestle cream / table cream / media cream
1/4 cup pureed ginger

You can add the milk mixture into the syrup when it’s at a simmer and cook it a bit and get this consistency, comes out like biscuit

How long to boil the paag? And do we have to wait for it to cool before adding?

You can use heavy cream to replace it

Was this a crumbly or hard barfi?
Hi natasha how long to let the barfi set before cutting,?
it can take any where from 15 mins to a few hours depending on how soft you mix it. once its firm to the touch you can cut it.
Has anyone tried this recipe out and the Barfi set in place. Does the paag have to cool or is it poured hot?
What temp did the syrup reach at the pouring stage?
I dont test it with a thermometer. It just needs to feel very sticky to the touch
Can I half this recipe?
Yes you can half all the ingredients
Girl you can damage your fingers with that hot sugar. That’s a dangerous demonstration. You know how ppl like to sue

This was the worst recipe. I followed it to a t. It taste horrible. To the bin it goes. 🤢
