You were right. It wasn't my cpap stuff that was dirty. So far anyway. It's been about a week and much better. I cleaned it many times and the ugly tummy would come back off and on. It got worse since the lockdown and you helped me find the real culprit which is probably my other cleaning habits. Thanks so much. Didn't even need a doctor yet lol
Yes I would only consider this a valid options after you’ve done the necessary water clean and scrub. This does not remove built on grime. I’ll be breathing in god knows what particles in just a few weeks.
@@juans0516 actually the machine itself really doesn’t need sanitizing at all. Only ambient air flows through and you have a filter in the cpap which you keep cleaned and or replaced as needed.

FDA says these particular cleaners have not been approved because their research hasn't proven that these machines clean the CPAP products including hoses masks headgear and humidifier container
They have admitted they never tested so actually they do not know only because they didn’t test. All rental cars are ozone’s between drivers. Water systems nation wide use ozone. Ozone definitely does sanitize.

There is NO SAFE LEVEL OF OZONE !!!--The current EPA standard for PM exposure is 12 µg/m³. Ozone levels as low as 30 parts per billion, also the lowest measured, increased the risk of death as well. The current standard is 75 ppb, with a planned phase-in to a 70 ppb level approved by the Obama Administration in 2015 now seriously in doubt.Jul 3, 2017
Thanks Tony for your comment. When used properly, user is exposed to zero ozone. Ozone CPAP cleaners are an excellent way to reduce risk of sinus infections etc. We have hundreds of customers who agree, there is no better way to sanitize your PAP supplies.
I called ResMed and the rep told me that if you use a cleaning machine instead of the recommended warm soap & water to clean your CPAP machine, it voids the warranty. These machines are NOT FDA approved. Convenient yes- FDA approved no.
FDA approved no but then again the blue dye you consume is so you figure that one out. Also ozone cleaning has been widely used and is very safe and effective.

Awesome! I hope all is well and stays that way! Thanks, we appreciate you being here!
How does this clean anything? The mouth grunge and face grease will still be all over this stuff. It doesn't disappear. Just wash it.
It sanitizes the equipment, i.e. kills germs/bacteria.
@JGComments ohhhh okay that makes it all better I guess. Sanitized grunge all over my mask. Got it.
@@NigelM18 Bingo. Now you got it. Manufacturers say these techs don't replace regular cleaning. Still soap, water, and wipes for me.

Another way to pull out the Money from peoples pocket
By activated oxygen do you mean ozone?
That’s correct.
I just used mine for the first time, my equipment smells a little after, what i do for that?
just let it run for a few minutes before putting the cpap on. This should help somewhat. Thanks for watching!
@@affinityhmit definitely does but some could take a few hours to throughly get the smell out of.

Sooooo...should I get the Sleep8 or the Soclean CPAP 🤔 they are both over two hundred dollars
