You skipped the pitch function for the most part, and that's part I'm looking for. I want to perform Cher's "Believe" live and I want to know how well the Zoom 6 would handle this and how pitch correction is handled generally.
To be honest - when I listen to the pitch and harmonizer tools, it sounds more like a gimmick. Machines will never replace real human voice ..

Thank you taking the time to show all the details, informative and entertaining! Great pedal but I need something that can be adjusted on the fly with my foot as a guitar player and I wouldn't have realized how much knob turning was involved if you hadn't made this video. Much appreciated, you saved me a lot of time and headache!
Thanks for your comment but I'm not sure maybe I got you wrong. This machine is a voice effect end you can use it with your voice when you have made some pre-settings like adjusting tonality before you start to play.

@@S-LAB I just mean that I can't be adjusting the different vocal effects because I'll have a guitar in my hand all the time 😁 what do you think of the TC Helion VoiceLivePlay for someone who wants to be able to change vocal effects with their foot while they play guitar?
@@JackRabbitsRabbit okay, I see, I get your point. I think the machine which you propose is an excellent one, because you can use it for both and - at the same time - voice and guitar! This box seems to be a pretty sophisticated one. 👍

Excellent video. I bought the ZOOM L20 DESK TOP mixer with IOS iPad control thru Bluetooth. I have to say the mixing station on the mixer is great but my only issue is controlling monitor effects. I'm looking forward to buying this V6
The L-20 must be an excellent machine 👍👍 what kind of issue with the monitor effects? I still think V6 is an interesting machine, but possibly I will sell it because of it's noise floor. Pls tell us how you deal with it once you receive it ....

I think it could be interesting field to experiment with but you should of course pick up the sound via a microphone
When using the robot effect, does the V6 limit the user to one pitch, or are you able to hear the notes of a scale/melody sung robot style?

Unfortunately not, as far as I am aware
I'm getting my delay & reverb from a lexicon going into the effects loop AND my zoom v6 distortion going straight into my channel in the board....

Only one loop
You don't need anything special, Zoom V6 is battery-powered

I think of course you can, but this effect is focusing very much especially on voice and not so much on other instruments. If you want to process an analog instrument then I would suggest you maybe this one here: ruclips.net/video/bwe5pCRvPho/видео.html they also have another effect almost similar which is more for digital instruments...

Can the two Voice settings be used on top of each other?
I'm not sure if you really understand your question. There are five different options for setting the harmonics in voice section. Out of theese five you can choose max. 2 together. What I was explaining in my last comment was in reference to the "harmony" section. Nevertheless, in "voice" section, Pitch correct is reacting in accordance with the Master tonality set via the key-dial. But also the Vocoder is acting in correlation with the key set via the harmony function ( makes total sense, isn't it? 🙂 ) please note that it is even possible to adjust the position of the center of the master pitch between 435 and 445 hz.
Can you plug a guitar into this to loop riffs and vocals at the same time?
Hi Saffaura, there is only one Input at a time, but maybe if you use a little mixer? Or maybe use Boss rc-505 instead?

@@S-LAB i´m looking for pedal or processor that allows to scream high and doubled or harmonized it with octave down like 40% and 60% in the mix. Can i do that with the V6?
You can scream with 40% or 60% octave down with ZOOM V6 no worries. The effect strenghts of "Octave down"-effect can freely be adjusted via the "adjust"-dial within the Voice-Section. @@S-LAB Sure. Is there a way where you can mute your main voice and only a harmony will come out through the speaker without your normal voice coming through? Thank you in advance.
@@user-zv3rw8si2t Okay now I got you. And unfortunately: no this won't be possible there is always some incoming sound source needed like a voice a guitar or whatnot. The harmony effect only is adding certain harmonic packages on top of an incoming source. It is not generating any sound by itself, like a synthesizer would do.

It has one drawback - the size and price, expensive and large, it would be possible without a pedal.
Maybe have a look at Boss V5?
The harmony function is lost. Just playing to be a dj or a go go dancer.

OK, why are you still using 20 year old UI technology. I don't want to remember what 0 to 99 means. A small LED with a few more character would at least allow you to assign meaningful names to the patterns.
In this regard you're totally right, I agree. Nevertheless, sometimes a simple piece of paper, or small Booklet, or a note inside your smartphone may come in handy and may sometimes even offer more space for more differentiated descriptions ...
Thank you for your effort but I regret to say that you have no logic in explaining the device. You skip from one function to another instead of fixing on that and explaining it in detail. Thank you however for giving an overall view that is much more than other videos I have seen on this product.

Zoom is the low-budget poor-man's effects unit. But with the high retail price. For the same price you can get the boss V5 which sounds a hundred percent better than this toy.
Den Klang kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, wäre spannend sich das mal anzusehen. Mein erster Eindruck aber: die Bedienung scheint weniger intuitiv als mit dem V6 zu sein ...
Too bad it doesn't have compression...
