I think you can if you are teaching deaf, blind or gifted children, it depends on the school. But most likely your function is sped teacher but position is regular teacher. Again, it depends on the school. However, you will be advised to take sped courses and attend trainings.

IEP palang pag Hindi fully trained Ang teachers ma burnout na mga Yan depende pa sa individual needs mainstreaming is still medicrecy parents should be included in the System hoping that you Could present a clear SPED program na kaka awa mga parents specially private schools binobola lang mga parents..one of my frustrations when I'm still practicing my guidance and counseling job dapat maayos at gumawa ng makatitihanang program Ang DEp Ed if you notice ADHD,ADD,AUTISM cases is growing here in the Philippines

Hello po I am a SPED teacher. Yes po meron po tayong SPED centers sa public schools. Marami po dito sa metro manila, kung nasa province po kayo punta po tayo sa municipal office tanungin natin anong school malapit sa inyo ang may SPED center po. God bless po.
