Full Changelog:
Vehicle Physics Improvements:
Brake overheat simulation has been added to all vehicles. Frequent braking can cause them to overheat and glow, causing a loss of braking power.
Complete remake of vehicle wheel colliders, resulting in more immersive and realistic physics with proper suspension inertia.
Camber tilt added to certain vehicles. Tilting the wheels or axles can happen based on the suspension's compression.
Manual transmission is now supported on controllers.
Enhanced and modified wheel traction physics to significantly reduce unrealistic wheel slippage when you come to a full stop on hills.
Modified physics to make vehicles more controllable when close to tipping over.
Trailers no longer disconnect when going 10+ km/h and when applying throttle you can no longer stop the engine.
Vehicle Graphical Improvements:
All vehicles now have daytime driving lights.
Vehicle and trailer brake/reverse lights now illuminate the environment.
New car paint material with better lighting, reflection, and look.
Remodeled wheels of every vehicle and trailer with unique designs and brakes.
MAN and Scania trucks have remade exteriors, including new 3D headlights, mirrors, door handles and more. Additionally increased the size of their respective interior navigation displays.
American truck now has marker lights and better exterior design.
Hub-caps of small vehicle wheels can detach on impact.
New lighting setup for heavy trailers with more marker lights and brighter looks.
Added trailer foot to car transport trailer and added a “king pin” to all heavy truck trailers.
Improved headlight shadow quality of all vehicles.
Made traffic vehicle indicators, brakes and headlights brighter and easier to see.
Adjusted seat positions and vehicle mirrors for better visibility.
Graphical Improvements:
Street lights now fade in for better looks and improved performance.
[PC Only] New ultra reflection settings, allowing for higher reflection quality and increased refresh rate.
Significantly improved rocky textures on slopes.
Camera Improvements
Exterior and Interior cameras are now much more dynamic. Using the acceleration of the vehicle, road forces, and impacts, it properly offsets & rotates the camera, giving a better feeling of physics and movement.
Optimization Changes:
Complete rewrite of the system that updates reflections & mirrors for vehicles as well as the environment to improve performance on all platforms.
Significantly reduced stuttering caused due to vegetation loading.
Optimized and improved lighting and reflections on car surfaces as well as in the vehicle interior for better performance.
Optimized render distances of reflections / mirrors for consoles. You will now have better draw distances on mirrors for lower graphic settings.
Significantly optimised shadows and improved their quality.
Improved the vehicle recovery system to better detect if a respawn point is flawed.
Improved the behavior of the gearbox to better detect the ideal gear to be at when at certain speeds.
UI Changes:
Improved room selection UI with proper room sorting.
After a mission invitation, as other players begin missions, their mission info will appear so you can see what cargo other players are taking.
[PC] Added UI navigation buttons to control mapper and improved its layout.
[Consoles] Improved controller layout images for consoles.
Multiplayer Changes:
Multiplayer remote vehicles now have daytime driving lights and marker lights for better visibility and cleaner looks.
Complete rewrite of the code that handles multiplayer position tracking and synchronization. Remote vehicles should now move more fluently on the road especially when at high speeds.
Improved reflections and lighting of multiplayer vehicles.
Brakes automatically activate when pausing in multiplayer.

The reason multiplayer servers are empty is that when there are breaking changes in multiplayer, we separate the lobbies so old and new versions can't mix. Because we have multiplayer synchronization improvements, its incompatible with the older version now. So only other youtubers, devs or testers can see and join your game.

Yeah it dawned on me after I had recorded it
As a truck driver. It depends on the type of truck and how you set your air ride seat. Full air bagged cabs do have a jelly like feel when hitting the smallest of bumps and leans heavily when turning. Also there are seat settings that you can adjust for a bouncier or stiffer ride

I always loved this American looking map. The inly changes i dig are the lights. Everything else just seems unnecessary. Glowing brakes bouncy physics etc. Imo the only fixes they needed to make was fix the round abouts. And add more map and trucks. Idgaf about glowing brakes or bouncing like its on rubber bands. The physics were fine as is.aside from the acceleration maybe but i never once thought oh i need my truck to bounce around or make braking more annoying just cause. I wont be coming back to this game till at the very least they add something worth checking out and fix the roundabouts. But i do love the work they did on the lights. Thats nice. But yeah everything else i honestly couldnt care less about.lol
Such a shame really , I feel they should of worked on the map a bit more , widening the roads , making the roundabouts bigger of maybe expanding the map more ? As you said a lot of what that has been added is unnecessary!

This is all good, and looks fantasic 👍 but unfortunately it doesn't grab me, only because its the same jobs again, nothing new to deliver and no map expansion 😪
For me Alaskan is king of the road atm and this defo wont drag me away.

I've been in a real truck as a passenger years ago now , real trucks are quite bouncy from what I remember Lee 👍, this is regarding trucks from late 1980's to 1990's
It seems they are rather bouncy , I need to learn to keep my gob shut when I don't know what I'm talking about lol

Why have wipers if there is no rain, weather? Can someone ask them when they will implement this? Is much needed. Never fails, you got all these cool immersive graphical things in a little boring game. On the Road, and Alaska Trucking are huge, but lack any of this stuff. Can"t win! I would love this stuff in the latter two games. This game needs to be bigger, weather, and a management system, then this game would be king.
I think this there long term plans , but time will tell , I'm hoping to have a 1 2 1 chat with the Devs soon ! So stay tuned for that

I quite like the look of this now it looks a lot better. I may just pick this up now.
Only down side is the map size .... but that being sed it is looking a lot better.
I've been in a Scania Globe trotter, and they are quite bouncey, maybe not as much at this
The map size and lack of career is a huge downside , it's fun for 20 hours or so single player , you'll get some nice content out of it for a while I suppose !
Stopped playing months ago like most of us. No new jobs,map expansion etc. Even if someone asked me to join them on multiplayer I'd turn them down nicely. Alaskan road truckers got me hooked. 💯 sure multiplayer is dead because Alaskan road truckers has loads of players stuck or unstuck in snow . Great video to let us know of updates mate 👍

The game does look very nice in places now but sadly there’s nothing here that gives me any urge to reinstall it. Imo, way more than a map expansion (which it really could do with) the lack of a career mode killed this game for me once the platinum was obtained.

Thanks pal , I agree with everything you said pal , such a shame really , the fact they are a small team is killing them , the updates take longer to get out , some of the comments in this video are all saying the same thing , they aren't fussed by the updates and won't bother reinstalling !

Actually, I think you said this the other day, it’s north to south, over the suspension bridge, on the right side of the map. You need 220kmh, I just hit 280kmh on it with the Mustang.

Don't know why they have implemented glowing brakes and brake fade. Brake fade hasn't been a thing for decades . Trucks have engine brakes to aid slowing down. If your brakes are glowing like that they are on fire 😅. . As for the cab bouncing. Its not really a thing unless you are going over speed bumps or uneven surfaces. The rear suspension is on air that adjusts for weight so the ride is the same empty or loaded. If you do an emergency stop the cab will lurch forward the only truck that gave the driver motion sickness was the old Renault magnum. . . .

I never played those two trucker games so far . The american dream because of the terrible AI amd I understood there was no steering wheel support available too.
I doubt about Truck & Logistic simulator.. Is the handling realistic enough ( simulation feeling) or it's more arcade?
I like Alaskan road truckers but miss a free roam to drive without the campagne and sometimes the sound in the game felt out also the brake area srars staying on my screen while I am on a new route again.
Alaskan has a few issues but I have every confidence they will iron them out !
T&LS does have good handling but not real career mode or direction in it's gameplay , just a bit souless !

Truck doesnt move that much. A little but not that much. Especially not low roof Scania R, they are quite stiff.
Volvo wont give license easilly. SCS proven that. Btw can't imagine driving VNL780 in Europe. They are pretty large even here..
This game (so as SCS stuff) needs economy re balance. It is too easy to make money. I would like to see all the rates dropped like 10x .. They would be a lot more realistic then.
Also map is.. ok, but it would be nice to see more cities or villages. It doesn't need an open road expirience. SCS does that, so what is the point repeating? But city deliveries or some interresting places would be something else. Something like On The Road did with milti collections. Let alone simulation on Alaska level.

I get what you mean ! The roads are narrow , and buildings seem to have no real place being there , it's on odd choice

A truck must be bouncy because it’s weight, you have proven that the game improved. If one day you will sit in a cabin of a real truck you will not feel comfortable… continue your wonderful work at the channel ❤
As you state , I have never sat in a truck , but still it felt way to bouncy for my liking.

Hi Lee. It is all, for me too little too late for this game. It sums it up when they release 'improvements' just after 'Alaskan' is released. Bad timing or what!! The jobs are just rinse, repeat and the truck is just too fast. Mirrors are very smooth however. Alaskan devs could learn from that for sure, but I have THE trucking game in ART and I am sure they will update their baby too. Sorry 'Logistics' but there is no reason to install you again.

Only thing lets this simulator down is the ai traffic also we got working wipers but no rain to make use out of them! As for multiplayer there’s plenty of players on pc as I’m pc player lol
I'm sure in time from what I've heard about there plans the game may come into it's own! Larger map etc.... but with the small team they have it's going to take time

The game is nice and good but the map to many little,no interaction,.....i have played since dayone!Sorry,Alaskan Truck,i have 30 hour game 1 season is gone,and need to say is an other experience,driving whit a storm and snow wind,and others wheater issue......is AMAZING,Technical issue,a fallen tree,Avalanche,eating,drinking,sleeping,manage your HQ and more!lool ,you know wen you start a delivery but dont know wen you come at your destination,and is a real challenge!And i muss say is hard now for others truck game on console to replace or make the same!
I agree there are a few issues ,.and maybe improvements that can be made , but I'm sure the Dev team can make the game even better! Thank you for watching
Played this game for about 30 mins . On controller the steering is so slow and unresponsive its unplayable. Yes in aware you can adjust the speed made no difference for me. .
It needs a lot of work , it's fun , just needs more content

But it really does need a bit more to it , some kind of career and a bigger map size , but I believe the Devs are working hard and always improving , so we will see what the future holds !

Well it small update and very very late don't know if I want play this anymore they let us down then pop tiny update so no new vehicles small rounderbouts this is a let down by the company I think I stay to my ETS 2 and ATS would have been nice for a good truck logistics update but I think they failed to deliver thank you for video sir 👍🫡😎
