Your Kool Scoop…does it work good? Mine is rubbish. I was expecting big things and was disappointed. It doesn’t stay in place when I deploy it. It bounces back after rattling around a bunch usually, and it doesn’t seem to bring much if any additional air into the cabin. I think it doesn’t work well with the vintage window causing turbulence on the sides.
Curious if yours works better.
Mine works but it’s not an incredible amount of air, could probably use a cleaning. Sounds like it works better than yours tho.

Hey Tommy. I have an M20F. Getting ready to do a panel upgrade. How do you like the AV-30’s?
They’re a good budget avionic. I sold that plane actually and got another Mooney with the G5s which I much prefer. If you’re planning to get an autopilot consider that too as the AV-30s may not work with the particular autopilot AP you choose.
Do you not like the AV30?
