- While riding on the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail I happened to find these World Trade Center Trident beams on display in Weehawken. I had no idea these where there so I decided to make a quick video on them. I do have to say standing under these massive beams really make you think about what happened on that day and have a very significant meaning to them. Of course we don't know if these came from Tower 1 or Tower 2 but either way they are significant pieces of American History. Please let me know what you think about these. After I left the Trident beams I went back to Exchange Place in Jersey City to take another quick look at One World Trade Center and Tower 4's construction. A lot of progress has been made and it's looking good!
Next update will be between June 25, 2012 and June 30, 2012 ok.

It's insane the jump in quality we've had in our cameras since only 12 years ago
Mobile phone video recording, more so.
IT'S VERY POWERFUL SEEING THOSE TRIDENTS!!!!!
BREAKS MY HEART!!!
These tridents are actually the lobby collums of the twin towerz
@@romaniageneral6002Huh, no shit?
@@oufukubinta dude, why are you so toxic, some people never even saw the lobby or the plaza of the original wtc
@@romaniageneral6002 pretty sure everyone would see the title and know the context
@@Usernamein2 They would know the context but not the actual design of the twin towerz
9/11 will never be forgotten May all the people that lost their lives on that terrific day rest in peace and God bless the families that lost their loved ones
Thankyou for posting these . Amazing to see the space shuttle looking over from other side of river
This appears to be taken around 2012 as freedom tower is unfinished, given how bright it is I'd say summer time. I visited NY in Sept 2012 and the waterfront where you are now and those pieces were certainly there then. Thanks for showing.
The Enterprise across the way was sent to the Intrepid Museum where it has remained on display since July 2012. This video would be from the first half of 2012 or earlier.
The WTC pieces remain in place.
I am thankful that someone had the foresight to save these historic monuments and that you were thoughtful enough to record their existence. I remember that it resembled a page out of Dante’s Inferno when I showed up the next day to restore telephone service to Wall Street for Verizon. The transmitter atop one of the towers crashed through the cable vault of the central office next door at 140 West Street destroying many cables. We had to work 16 hour shifts to temporarily hang cables out the windows and run them down the streets. I can still remember what must have been the pungent smell of burning bodies that permeated the area.
Modern day Roman ruins.
No fool ain't no freakin Roman Ruins , you yhaoo
Fantastic short film, thank you. I was in NJ in 2022 and 2024 and never saw these nor knew abiut them.
This is the NYC skyline before all those ugly (imo) new towers were built.
...also before Enterprise was covered over onboard the Intrepid!
I'm glad you enjoyed! Thank you.
Its a shame that those towers are gone! God bless to the people who died
I really do miss the original twin towers. They were so beautiful.
It really was an amazing building! such a shame that its gone.
I liked them too but they wanted to demolish them a long time ago. They were structurally sound but commercial failures and also not up to code. It was too expensive to remove the asbestos from them so they were both essentially open condemned white elephants.
Thanks Man, I really appriciate your videos. They always give me a first person view on how the towers are being constructed and how they change every time. I check the Earthcam webcams of the progress just about every day, and have been since they started construction. But your videos are just so much more. THANKS! :D
I will always feel sad remembering the twin towers. I always cut out photos and articles about them when they were being constructed as a teenager. I was so fascinated by them and was so thrilled to pieces when they topped out at 110 stories. But this new WTC project is now equally as exciting to me 40 years later. I never would have thought...Hahah!
Wish you would have let everyone read what it says about the Trident beams but thanks for the effort. Would have loved to see more of the Space Shuttle, where did that one end up? i believe it only was used for testing, take-off and landing.
It was transferred to the Intrepid Museum where it has been on display since July of 2012.
@@Constable_Chud Thank you so much for this info, i really loved the Space Shuttle era, except for the two disasters
Love your videos, thanks for keeping us abreast of the progress...
Solo los que somos fanáticos de las torres gemelas sabemos lo que son esa estructura 😢😢😢😢😢
Wow surreal looking at them after what happened down there. The silver clad is missing and the building behind it... Never forget. Hope to see you get some vids of the completed one soon. Remember the film working girl? The intro with Carly Simon and that tugboat approaching the WTC is one of the most mind numbing things to watch back now.
These are columns, not beams. Beams are horizontal, columns are vertical.
Yeah Tridents were part of the exoskeleton that surrounded the exterior of the building. Doing this they were able to not have interior beams in the building. They call this type of building tube. By doing this they were able to use less steel.
We appreciate the video
Thank you for sharing this .... this is revealing and telling
Never realised how big they were
Thanks! Glad you enjoy the updates.
Wow I Didnt Even Know They Had These Over There In Weehawken I Have To Take A Bus Ride Or Light Rail Ride Over There And Check Them Out Thanks...
Yes, once the buildings collapsed the fires that continued to burn melted off the silver cladding.
There were no fires at that level.
They say fire continued after the collapse, I remember hearing it went on for several days
Yes these are on the NJ side.
Yeah it's really something looking at these beams after the tragedy that happened here 10 years ago.
*never anythings is forgotten.*
That’s cool.
Yeah the good thing is that we are rebuilding something that will be stronger and reclaim the NYC skyline. I only saw the original towers twice. I feel for anybody who may have been affected by 9/11 and I feel for those lost as well on that terrible day.
If you look at it it looks like it’s where the towers stood
nice video thanks for all the wtc videos , down in the southern states we dont get to see them enless there on the news about progress on the freedom tower
So, it looks like those are on the Jersey side? Weird... If you go back - could you capture the inscription plaques that were on there?
Thank you.
Thanks! It will be late in the week.
There is one at LAFD training facility. you can touch it too.
They look like 3-fingered hands reaching out from the depths.
Thanks!

hey buddy, could u PLEASE tell me how to get here via the light rail, I have only been on the light rail from LSP to exchance place and dont know where to go from there? is this weehawken a stop past exchange place? id really like to go see these and if you could tell me how to get to them via the light rail from LSP stop that would be great!! Thanks!!
The VAST majority of the metal from the original WTC buildings around 200,000 tons ended up in the international scrap metal market.
i.e was recycled into cars etc
why did they put it so far from the original site?
They're far away from the original site to hide them. They want everyone to forget that 911 was a controlled demolition. More than enough people know about it they're just afraid to speak after so many 911 whistleblowers were silenced.
@@darkbulb367 😂😂😂😂
Они похожи на руки, а не на трезубцы.
The irony of these tridrnt beams are the Islamic inspiration. Yamasaki. The architect who designed those buildings. Some of his inspiration in his designs came from Islamic architecture. And the World Trade Center beams and exterior facade designed were Islamic inspiration.
😢😢😢😢😢
what are tridents?
+ggfaith7 They were situated at the base of the towers if I remember rightly.
A trident is something like a three pronged pitchfork, and there were nineteen of them at the base, on each of the four sides, of the north and south towers of the original World Trade Center.
A Satanic symbol
Ever seen kids dressed as a devil on halloween with a pitchfork? That's what it is.
Ariel's dad holds one
odd.
Rip to everyone who died
No afens ok but this is wat ill tell it looks like a fork
No offense taken. I can actually see the resemblance.
Jet fuel can't melt steel beams
your right, but it can sure as hell weaken them
Shut up. If you can't prove your insane theory is correct, just shut up. We are sick of your 🐂💩 already.
Por culpa de George w bush ya no están las torres gemelas
