thanks for this video! you have no idea, I was annoyed and frustrated for days because my page didn't look like it should (the template was only in the box inside, not full width, no matter what I chose for the page layout) and now I just tried importing the template like you did and - voila - FINALLY the page looks as it should! thanks so much!!

Whenever I import any template, It is coming as a white box around the template after tye import. I tried to Stretch the section. Still the white box is not removing. That's so annoying.
Where did you get the template from?
And is it due to mixing Sections with Containers.

love the creativity and the energy, man! I'm figuring out how to import an existing site into elementor, currently when I do this, (in the staging area) the site immediately changes to a default template. So I do not know how to keep the existing site intact, so I can edit it in the staging area, then take that elementor edited staging site and overwrite the live site. now that is has been updating using elementor.
Maybe try using all in one migration instead to move it over
it's still importing it without the images.. how did you make it import the complete content?
You need to use the Export Template Kit feature - go to Wordpress > Elementor > Tools > Export Kit

I tried this so many times with a page template but whenever I import the template on another site, it says "Error" Any idea why?
Does the other site have the same plugins installed?
It doesn't work! I followed the tutorial step by step, but when I go to insert the template on the new site the page remains empty.
Did you import the template to the Templates area first?
Are you adding a Container onto a Section page or vice versa?

When uploading in my templates its giving error bro "An error occured". How to get that other template now?
Are you importing into the Saved Templates area first?
Couldn't you simply use the export/import feature of wordpress in tools ? Because if you have 10 pages to copy, doing this template process 10 times seems long, compared to downloading a single file with all your pages in it.

Use the All in One Migration Tool to complete download a copy of the Site with Everything.

Didn't cover how to export Json from elementor to computer drive to copy it across other website.
Save Template.
Go to Templates and then click the icon in the top right to export to your hard-drive.
Go to new site.
Go to Templates.
Click Import to import into Templates.
And then on your chosen page click the Grey Folder.
