I've been watching 4wd videos on RUclips for years and I can honestly say that this is one of my favorites. Awesome history that is really interesting and a good focus on an actual adventure rather than how great my mega$ gear is. Well done mate.
I second that!
Thank you so much, that really, really means a lot you saying that :)
hear hear.
The absence of high pressure 4x4 product hype and the presence of historical content, scenery scape and realism make this video an enjoyable pleasure to watch. well done.
The videos a little different but I hope you got something out of it! All i can say is you gotta give this place a visit , truly spectacular ! and the history is really interesting as well!
next weeks video will be in Kinglake 4WDing , let's hope we don't break anything ;)
Dude, thank you for all the time and effort spent on the research. It’s so refreshing to see a younger fella interested in our history. Loved it.
Mate, Awesome video. This is so well made because of the insight it places upon the history of the area. Keep going mate. Very enjoyable
How professionally done was the intro and the history of that. great work
Thank you Andrew :) really appreciate that
Another mint video boys! I did not know just how much water was diverted with the SHS. Incredible to think how much water must’ve flowed through those valleys before we messed with it.
Thanks Andrew! yeah it's pretty insane to think !
The intro was very 4wd action. Was surprised you didn't have some short bloke there to tell us about the traction control on his DMAX.
Hahaha too good
The hydro is where it all started for Landcruiser
I love how educational this video is yet still has wheeling content in it. All this research, you clearly know a lot about this project and enjoy this topic. Keep up content like this even if it means you post slightly less
When you go beast mode on the editing, good work bro chur
That was the best video you guys have ever made, so informative. Before this episode I was never in any sort of rush to travel here, now.... I'm going soon.
I'd love to see a few more of these touring style videos. While still doing your DIY, and rig show-off videos too.
My hat goes off to your channel.
Top little video 👍👍
You’re a natural, well narrated.
Loving the diversity of what you are posting.
Absolutely spectacular part of the world. Been tackling the Vic high country lately but this is definitely on the list
Yeah its really worth the drive!
Great footage, liking your channels diverse topics and the approach to getting more people involved in the 4x4 community
You boys should have so much more engagement and views this vids and high class
my oldman was one of the sparkys on that job. i was told is was one of the bigest sites he had been on.
It's great to see young people enjoying the best country on earth instead of destroying it thumbs up.
One of your best videos yet fellas - keep it up 👍
If I would not have been subbed already, I´d subb again now. It is not about the gear, it is about the adventure. A healthy man wants a thousand things, a sick man but one. Bit of lift and a tad more tire is all the 80 needs. Reliabilty is king.
Aussie history is fascinating to someone who doesn't live in Australia.
😁👍
Awesome video guys, it's so good to see a channel a that's about enjoying the journey.
(and not just spruking products)
Keep it up :)
Great video, nice to have the variety of workshop, touring & 4x4 videos.
Wow, awesome delivery young man, good editing, good cuts and good audio, Loved this, no mega gear pushing just a plain old trip to a stunning and historically filled place. Thank you for this, even though I'm not an Aussie I am on the same equatorial lining and can find solace in the surroundings as it's pretty much the same as we have, Again, well done.
I just bought the same 4wd, 80 series 1hdt. My first 4wd and I will be watching your great content to learn more. Keep up the great work!
Spectacular views and campsites!! Great video. Thanks 😁
A lot of my Family worked on the snowy hydro during late 50s to late 60s until Vietnam whereas a few did a few tours.born.in tumut myself its a wonderful place to grow up lots of fond memories and love camping fishing that area.we have it easy compared to there days. Great video brought back fond memories.
Loved this. Loved the interesting notes about the Snowy Hydro.
Production didn't seem rushed at all mate, good video with some great info.
awh thanks Philip , means a alot :)
Really well narrated and informative video. Keep up the good work and adventures! 👍
Loved the vid mate, was very interesting learning about the snowy river 👍🏼
That was like an Aldi ad....Good, Different. Well done .
Snowy Hydro scheme is what built the legendary reputation of the LandCruiser and Toyota in this country.
Awesome video you really done your homework they are getting more professional.
Please make more videos like this one 👍🏻
These things are incredibly tough. I travelled 1300 km with a broken intake, leaky radiator, and a stuck piston. It needed a rebuild after that but was still running. Just smoking quite a bit, not a lot.
Thanks fir doing this video, it looked as though you had a great time but seeing how your 80 managed was very interesting too!
Thanks David! yeah was interesting to take it out and do some real driving in it to see how it went!
I like this informative video great edit mate don’t need super expensive rigs to go out there
More videos like this!!! ---- you guys are killing it! Keep up the awesome work, the little different is a GOOD thing!
Loved the video, keep up the great work man!
Thanks Jarrad!!
So good boys keep at it🤟
Thanks Cameron! :)
4x with educational loved it from america
Your videos are leaving the big budgets four wheel drive TV shows to shame. Good job. The first 6 Land Cruisers brought to Australia were for the snowy mountain project.
Loved this video, keep up the great work
You have done a very good job with this video. It was well presented and the information about the Sniwy Hydro was impressive. If this is what you do when you are "rushing it" - mate i can't wait for more of these. Give yourself a big pat on your back.
Well made video lads and keen on the history stuff. Would have loved you to have touched a bit more on the environmental impacts of damming and the snowy hydro as you guys spend so much time on country!
Great video. Brings back many memories of my visits to this area. Also did many 5-6 day kayak trips down the Snowy from Willis to Buchan camping on fantastic sandy river banks. A great way and the only way to see some of the inaccessible gorges on that section of the Snowy.
Also at 3:57 nice to see you're batting well above your average !!
Great video. Interesting to get some history as well. Keep it up from the uk
Excellent video as always. I love the little history lesson in the middle. Makes for a nice, varied episode. I’m planning on making some videos on my recently bought GQ (in England). I’d love to make videos as good as yours. Keep up the good work!!
Not going to lie your edits are really good
That is insane how much work went into the snowy. Awesome video mate the quality lately is so professional, keep it up
A great little video. It's great to see someone tell some history of the area they are travelling through. Kudos for that. This is one of the areas I have on my list of places to visit when I can.
Damn this kid knows how to make great content and high quality videos
Awesome trip and I loved the story telling in the vid. This is a trip I want to do one day, maybe when the weather gets a little warmer again. Well presented.
Always fascinated by an 80. Great video and I enjoyed watching the places visited. Btw, better not to wear your seat belt for river crossings.
Love the video, would love to see the car in new paint at some point
G'day, I had to do work down at the snowy 2 yrs ago, I drove from Brisbane in a Delica, wich I just modified, it went perfectly. The snowy is an awesome place, I was there in June, ( freezing cold and ice every where, ) and left in September, so I seen it change from the seasons, just magnificent on a grand scale,
I totaly recommend the trip for an avid 4x4 enthusiast, im now in WA, Gold fields, Delica included, awesome 4x4, period
Davi b.
That summary of the Snowy Hydro Scheme was great mate. Thanks. You just sorted my next trip. Owe you a 🍺👍

Awesome stuff, keep the adventures coming 👌🏼
Loved it. Makes me want to get back to where I'm from and get exploring! so much interesting history!
Beautiful video! SHS area looks amazing!
Oh, and great editing 😊
Loving it. Great video, great narration and great tiny shorts. And you're punching way above your weight.
Sick Video fellas! Mackillops Bridge is pretty bloody cool, I'm from around near there
Cooma side of the snowies is my home. Love the high country. It's best during the week as you will have most of it to your self.
Another great vid man. 🤙
That’s one of my favourite little vids I’ve seen in a while. Planning a trip like this but being from Brisbane, having to put a little more prep into it to make it all feasible and worthwhile.
Thanks Jacob :)
Exalent, good to see the girls and that little Healer awww
Awesome video fellas
fantastic video, your best to date, great research and great presentation.
Great video Patrick!! Loved it mate
Great intro dude, totally drew me in. Great story telling loved it.

mate, these videos are awesome. i am a victorian and i didnt know alot of this stuff so thanks mate
Thats some of our best country around there boys👍🏻
Yeah its unreal!
I think the Snowy Hydro build and scale is not known enough to the general public. Great vid 👍
Out of interest what size tyres are on the Colorado?
Awesome work really interesting about the Snowy Hydro and a trip you will remember in years to come I really enjoyed this video keep up the good work cheers
Thanks Dan! :)
Been at camp ground used to hunt at tubbut and I think I saw that colly going through Bairnsdale as that's where I live
Omg u trusted the hand brake 🤭
Sick video love the documentary style, also what you can do with the 80s bonnet is sand if down and paint it black look mint
Great video mate 👌 please incorporate more of the history when you go places
Keep up the great work enjoy watching your adventures as well as the upgrade videos
Thanks Richard! really appreciate it ! :)
Made my week mate! Keep up the awesome content
This is a top quality production 👌
I have watched MCM, The Skid Factory, 4WD 24/7 for years and I still get jump scared sometimes when I see y'all driving on the left side of the road.
Great vid!
Thanks Michael! :)
Mate such a great job on this video, the bigger more well known channels could learn a lot from you I think, but if there was any criticism it would be make it longer LOL, thoroughly enjoyed it mate, could easily sit there for a hour watching your content keep it up! 👍
Loved the new vid, did you have diff breathers or not needed for small crossings?
Do you happen to have a map of the route taken for this trip at all?? Keen to do something similar.
Land cruisers in the ph goes for around 1.5-2.5 milion php. The imports cost cheaper but theyre converted to lhd.
1.5m is 38k aud
2.5 is 64k aud
Keen for some more hardcore 4wd vids
Nice vid mate, we’ve always avoided the area due to the large national parks, we’ve got a kelpie, how’d you go with the dog ? was it a hassle trying to find camps ?
Where’s the feature on gelantipy!
The place no one knows but it’s the best!
Karoonda Park!
This is actually such a well made video 👌
Thanks Aidan! too kind ! :)
That is awesome
I live in tumut and it’s awesome having the blowering dam pretty much down the road
i think the snowy could be the new high country.
How were the 4wd tracks. Was there anything too hectic. About to get a new 4wd and I’m looking for an easy trip too ease into the new car
I went down last month or so. Stayed at tumut and jindabyne and heading back in December
Great content
