- Today we have a bonus video! The British rappers had been asking if they could go to a Korean McDonald's since day 1 so we pulled up to a drive through and tried some of Korea's unique McDonald's menus!

@@ledy1387 Not the point. How many videos have you seen where the ones being "interviewed" readily share food with the anyone in the background during the video? Usually they just eat, put things aside and move on. Regardless of whether the crew eats after the video or not.

In Malaysia, we also have the Golden Prosperity Burger that comes into the menu every Chinese New Year! I PERSONALLY really love it but the patty (chicken/beef) is usually super juicy with a black paper glaze. Sad that you guys couldn't experience it in that form, but I'M SUPER JEALOUS of that Supreme Shrimp Burger 😭
We have the same in HK and it's the best thing, instead of lettuce it's black pepper sauce and onions and it tastes hella good

ikr, i was so surprise seeing that. we had a patty coated with black pepper glaze, which sometimes not enough.. that one looks very dry

I’m a none-spicy eater but i would ordered the prosperity burger every CNY. It’s a bit spicy but its so good
They sold shrimp burgers in the Philippines last year under the name _ebi burger_ , it was their during their Flavors of Asia promo, and it was the one I always got when it was available. It had black sesame seeds on the bun and the sauce tasted a bit like wasabi mayo. The patty wasn't uniform in texture and had little chunks of shrimp in it. It sold well (at least in my area) because it was sometimes unavailable and they'd need to wait for restocks.

It was available a few years back too. Like a promotional thing or something. The wife didn't approve of that one. Last year's Ebi burger was a hit to her tho. She ate it like she wasn't allergic. Thank the heavens for antihistamines and epipens, I'm not yet a widower because of those. 😅
I loved this one so much I ordered it every time. I lucked out that there was one branch in the province that still had it when the promo period ended so I managed to get a last hurrah. I liked it over the other flavor that came out with it (they had the Japanese and Korean burgers, I think?)
Damn.. Luke with the immediate truth-bomb: "they need to put that sauce in a packet". He is simply the wisest of men, sitting high atop the mountain and bestowing us with timeless guiding words. He deserves a bigger role in the future! 😂
whats that actually mean ? sell it apart as the sauce itself, like ketchup bottles?
@@aminzain1917 many places (at least here in the US) offer sauce on the side, packaged in little plastic packets that you can tear open and squeeze...

Always love your videos. I introduced your channel to my parents (I'm a 3rd gen Korean Japanese) and they are obsessed with you guys. Japan has Shushu burger, just called Ebi Fillet 'O burger.
We sometimes have them here, but it's not a regular staple. It's just a seasonal item, like the shake shake fries. XD
Have had the shush burger in Korea, but I actually would be quite curious to try in Japan! Putting it on the list 🙂

Seriously, you couldn't pick better partners for a McD's drive-thru experience 😅 The shenanigans in this video take me way back to me and my high school buddies - crushing big macs, fries & shamrock shakes, and unable to not break down laughing while putting the order in. Such good times! Truly digging these episodes with Guvna & Barney 🙏

영국남자 한국 방문 시리즈는 언제 봐도 힐링되네요 ㅎㅎ
2013년부터 시작된 맥도날드 행운버거는 한국 맥도날드가 연말연시 시즌에 판매하는 버거로 병원 내에서 생활하는 아이가 치료에 집중할 수 있도록 기부금을 조달해서 기부하고 있어요! 2022년까지 총 2억 4000만원을 기부했다고 하네요😮

Japan has the Ebi Burger which is prawn burger too. Singapore has McSpicy Burger which could be similar to the McSpicy Shanghai Burger.
I now need to try them all 😅

Singapore has also tried the Ebi burger like 2 times or so. Our opinions on the Ebi burgers are divided 🤣 some like it, some didn't like it.
Out of everything in this series. The thing I see most is how much Josh loves other cultures. It isn't just Korea. The love he shows for the hip-hop culture (which he doesn't seem all that used to! haha) is amazing. It's just love. Really awesome to see.

I don't know about Mcdonald's but Korean KFC is really nice. Shanghai spicy chicken burger is definitely a signature menu of Korean Mcdonald's. The origin of Bulgogi burger is Lotteria so all the credit should go to Lotteria for that menu. Supreme Shrimp burger is definitely nice. I have no idea about Gold prosperity burger because I've never tried it. I didn't know that they didn't have the paper roll support for burger menus in U.K. Mcdonald's.
I have been meaning to get more familiar with KFC in Korea.. have heard enough good things that it's time to explore! 😅

Dipping Maccas ( McDonalds.) chips into sundaes or milkshakes is what we do here in Australia, Just a things thats been done for many generations I think, so its good to see other countries doing it aswell

Loving the series! Here in Japan, we have a Mac situation. Both Korea and Japan Mac are top notch thanks to their host countries. We have the shrimp burger here, and similarly to the bulgogi burger, Japan has a teriyaki burger. One of the things I love about the Japan Mac menu is called “Yoru Mac” (evening Mac). After 5pm, menus items unlock and they are double (“bai”) the volume. It’s insane. The bai double cheese burger has 4 patties 🥳. Y’all need to come check it out on your way through to Korea next time!

'아니, 왜요? 그건 미국 음식점이잖아요? 영국에서 사시는 분들이 한국에 와서 미국 간편식/즉석식품('패스트푸드')을 사 먹으신다고요?'
하고 생각하며 어리둥절했는데,
"각 나라의 맥도널드에는 그 나라만의 특별한 메뉴가 있잖아? 우린 그걸 직접 맛보고 싶어."
하는 두 분의 말씀을 듣고, '아, 다 까닭이 있었구나. 이 분들은 한국인들이 다른 나라의 음식문화를 어떻게 자기 식으로 바꾸는지를 알고 싶어하신 거네!' 라고 생각하며 제 생각이 짧았음을 깨달았습니다.

There is a Korean cafe named Mellow Coffee in Perth, Australia, which I tried last week. They have a chili cheese prawn burger which is so humongous with a crunchy prawn patty and the patty itself has generous number of whole prawns. This was the first Korean prawn burger that I have ever tried and it was so good!
Thanks for sharing about this Korean cafe! I go to Perth every year. Next time I’m there I will be sure to visit this cafe 👍🏼

We have McSpicy and Buttermilk Crispy Chicken burger in Singapore. One of the interesting time-limited ones we had was the Nasi-lemak burger.

Singapore also had that. And Prosperity burger (comes in beef or chicken, SG's McD are Halal) always comes back for CNY with the curly fries (it get hella messy (due to the slop of black pepper sauce) , and also it kind of taste nasty, unless you got a good one, mostly just tasting moist.)

We dip fries into frosties which is like a crossover between a milkshake and soft serve from wendys in america! So its def something people do! (also I just wanna say i always appreciate the little picture on the right corner when you are talking about fast food)
You should have taken them to Pizza Hut in Korea and ordered the Rich Gold II pizza with sweet potato and cheese around the edge!

Totally agree! Not everywhere McDonald's like this. I'm from Malaysia and when I go to Singapore even a neighbor country, I saw one burger that not in my country menu. It so delicious and i really hope the menu being offer in Malaysia. It's been 4 years and I still remember the taste though
I love some of the seasonal stuff and the McWings they have in Singapore McDonalds. The 'Double Shrimp filet-O' in Japan Mcdonalds I like too. I find McDonalds and McCafe in other countries way more interesting and taste better than here in the UK 😅
To be honest, Indonesian McDonald's has that prosperity burger as well, but ours (with blackpepper sauce 🤤) definitely looks and tastes better than that! 😅😅
I love these guys and their enthusiasm. Korea's McDonald's is definitely different. I don't like the prosperity burger gold either, but I buy the meal just to get the curly fries, which are delicious.
