Thanks for posting this! Very helpful! It was easy & took only minutes to change out the weatherstrips on my Tacoma! Dealer wanted nearly $300 to replace them! I bought the parts, & did it myself!
Thanks for the video. I've seen a couple where they mess with the interior trim near the mirror. No need to mess with that. I had one leaking badly, but replaced all four.
Thanks dude. For anyone looking to get the parts... The front passenger and drivers side part numbers are reversed in the video description. Front driver is 68210-04020.
This is the cheapest I found that’s OEM. www.ebay.com/itm/172980684918?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=SQvQxejHT6K&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=-hgsi-JeQdG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I just ordered the parts on all four of my windows. Thanks for the informative vid!! Keep that taco fresh looking.
Thanks man! Once I replace mine they will last me another 20+ years. Thanks to Toyota quality and reliability
Thanks for posting this. My new strips came in the mail today for my 2002. 280k miles and still going strong.

Just installed my new stripping following your instructions. Now I have a new truck. Thanks a load!

Laura Adelia I’m very happy that it helped you out. There’s noting like doing the work yourself and saving money at the same time!
"just cuz its old doesn't mean it has to look like shit"
The most straight to the point video! Thanks sir
"Simon", thanks. The little 4x4 Tacoma is a beast!

Thank you so much you saved me a lot of trouble👍👍👍👍 very good video
You're welcome!
Ver yhelpful I found two of these at Walmart for free, in the parking lot. It was a different color Tacoma but fit mine with now problems
So that's where mine disappeared too, you bastard! LOL!
Thanks for this
Nice job!! Thank you for doing through this process! One question, should I replace all four at one time if only one is bad?
If you’re going to change one out mite as well do them all, but that’s just me.
@@sse1204 I just did them today and it was super easy! Thank You!
Great video! Thank you
Sweet. Maybe I’ll just paint mine? Be even cheaper right?
Yeah that’ll be way cheaper. But be careful cuz you mite snap a clip.
@@sse1204 👊🏻👍🏻
Do you have a another 1?
Thanks bro🙏
Awesome. Thank you.
awesome
Do you know where else I can buy these? somewhere cheaper maybe third party? $250 seems pretty steep lol
This is the cheapest I found that’s OEM. www.ebay.com/itm/172980684918?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=SQvQxejHT6K&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=-hgsi-JeQdG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
You could go with third party ones but sometimes you can run into fitment issues.
What’s a price range for getting the complete set for all the windows? I jus don’t want to over pay or get ripped off? Thank you in advance.
They range from $150-$200.
@@sse1204 I found some on eBay for 189$, so it’s fair to say it’s worth buying.?
@@luieperla1520 yes. Or you can write down the part numbers from the description and call around and see if you can get a better deal.
thanks
Do you know where I can get a owner's manual for a 2002 Toyota tacoma 2wd pree runner ?
You can check on eBay or on Tacoma world on the for sale threads they sometimes post them.
@@sse1204 thank you I appreciate your reply
Where do you get the parts from ?
I ordered them from Camelback Toyota in Arizona.
Hey man do you know if the drivers door strip in this video will fit a 95 Tacoma
Johnny McKinney I’m not 100% sure of it but looks like it does.
Hi, what website did you order from? Or was it from dealership? I'm trying to cut costs obviously.
I got them on eBay but check out other sites. You can probably find them cheaper on Amazon.
@@sse1204 thanks
Nice video!! What was the price of each part at that dealership you mentioned in the vid? Thanks!!
ttvills thanks, the part numbers are in the description.
The actual part name is "Door Window Belt Weatherstrip." According to my local dealer parts search. $46 each at my local dealer.
I need those on my tacoma 1999
Thank you!!!
Good vid, thanks
Zozo thank you.
Bruh, thanks for the video but please correct the part numbers. I spent $100 bucks on the wrong parts. The driver and passenger numbers are reversed.
Fixed it already.
I just paid $245 for all 4 lol
Thanks
