@@grahamvaneck8906 Indeed! You do not need to be a Biblical scholar to recognize that Trump has rejected pretty much everything Jesus is reported as teaching and doing in the gospels. Trump has also claimed he's never needed to ask forgiveness - and you can look it up - because he's never done anything for which he needs to ask forgiveness, which is to claim he has never sinned, and that's a revolting attempt to make himself the equal of Jesus which is blasphemous. It would be more credible to assert that Pontius Pilate was 'the disciple whom Jesus loved than to claim' that Trump follows Jesus in any way, shape or form. Indeed, those who proclaim Trump as 'God's anointed' are blaspheming for it is evident to all but the willfully blind that Trump is no follower of Jesus. It would be more accurate to note that Trump is one of the many and deliberately deceitful people who Jesus warned us would 'come in His name and deceive many,' as Trump fits that prophecy perfectly. The depth of ignorance to which those who support Trump and claim to be Christian have sunk is breath-taking; such 'believers' have betrayed Christ for a red hat and an ideology that rejects Jesus' command to love one another in favor of inciting violence against those one does snot like. Supporting Trump is just one of the ways Jesus is scourged and rejected again in our time.
Sadly, too many people have chosen to abandon common sense; have listened to a “ Double Tongued “ liar, an adulterer; a man who cheats on his taxes and defrauds others; a man who sees himself as invincible; omnipotent; and can do whatever he wants ! * Our Lord warned even the Elect will be deceived; embracing the lie as the truth and the truth as a lie ; his judgement will come when he least expects it to ; and God’s judgment is Final ! I pray 🙏 for people to wake up and denounce these “ Wolves 🐺 wearing SheepSkin “ amongst God’s flock ; to reject hatred; division; and disengage from following such people to their ruin .

Read Christ's statement to Pilate where He tells the governor that God gave his authority. You're obviously misquoting the passage and failing to understand what it's saying. God is not a distant figure in the universe. As Winston Churchill famously said, God is working out a purpose in this world.

There's a difference between judging for ourselves who will go to heaven or hell, and judging who is worthy to receive our votes for political office. As good citizens of our country, we are required to make judgements about who we vote for! I believe that God forgives Trump, as He forgives all of us, but that doesn't mean I would ever, ever, ever vote for the man! Because I agree with you- he is an existential threat to our democracy.
The MAGA thinks everyone is stupid. Many of these GOP congress members are lawyers and actually know how our courts & laws work. But they are actually lying to the American people, that Joe Biden is corrupt and in charge of the Trump trials. There was a grand jury that decided to indict him. There was a jury that decided DJT was guilty of 34 counts. There were 3 witnesses that actually worked for DJT. It will be the judge that will sentence him for the 34 fenlony counts. It was NOT President Joe Biden that committed these crimes or was any part of the jury. It was DJT that thinks he's above our law that committed these crimes, election subversion, election fraud, & obstruction.

I live in the USA. I so wish that those who follow Trump, could see how dangerous he is. I’m 57 years old and for the 1st time in my life, I am afraid what will happen here in America. Every now and then he forgets himself and says what he really thinks. He was surprised when he was elected saying, “…so that’s how the electoral college works”. I pulled up the verse to read along and just started laughing. Because Trump truly does not know who he's messing with when he takes on God.
God also says humble thyself in the sight of the Lord. Trump is not even humble in that when he compares himself to Christ that scares me. I mean I know God gives all the freedom to choose our path but it does prove God is patient because I would afraid to see lightning bolts coming out of heaven if I ever compared myself to Christ. Christ is the only one that has never sinned.

Back in 15 my mother was looking at the telly and was wondering who that goofy acting guy was. I told her he was tRump and wanting to be president. She said I don't want to vote for him. So in 16 I was helping her with he ballot and she said, isn't he that loud hateful guy. I told her yes. So she voted for Bernie. In 20 she said I told you that guy was no good.
She also raised us to try and find something good or worthwhile about other people. The only thing I can say about tRump is, he's shown the u.s. and the world the flaws in our legal system.
My mother died in 21 and my father in 22. It's awful to say but I'm glad they aren't here to see this clown show of nightmares.

My mom is 97 and voted Republican most of her life. She too reacted like your mom to Trump and voted for someone else in 2016. In 2020, I helped her vote for Biden. She was so appalled at the GOP and Trump she said, just vote down the Democratic line. She never did that in her life. She's still with us today and doing well. Everyday she hopes he will be beaten. I tell her stay alive to the end of the year to get your vote in once again. I thought 2020 would be her last election! The greatest generation was great for a reason. They know a snake when they see one. The boomers just pick up the snakes and make friends with them. I thought Adam and Eve taught us a lesson but Satan deceives every generation that won't learn from history.

I watch a youtuber who refers to Earth as 'bad Disneyland'. We came here for the experience. If we pay attention, we will learn our lessons. If not, the ride is more difficult. So, if we wanted an easy ride, we came to the wrong place. Trump had a long way to go before he hit the severe hills and valleys on his roller coaster ride. He thought he would get through this lifetime, on the kiddie rides.

Hitler brought down his country and cost many lives before God stepped in. Who is to say if Trump will not be a version of this and do unrepairable damage to this country? Gods time lines are not the same as even our human life spans. The most Americans can do is vote and hope that the vote counters do a fair and right count, regardless of political beliefs, in the next election. Also, if appealed, assuming can be and is, who is to say that Trump may not get a judge believes in Trump, and overturns the conviction. Then those pastors and preachers can point to this as evidence of their beliefs that Trump is chosen.
The best you can do is be a voice in the wilderness, and say the truth. Rev Ed, you r that voice.

Reverend Trevors, I live in the United States and it currently feels like God is truly testing US. It feels as if there is no end to the darkness and many, many times I want to give up. One such time, as I stood on the edge, I found your channel. Even though I turned my back on organized religion over forty-five years ago, I watched one of your videos. Perhaps his conviction will be overturned. The American people as well ass the world are witnessing the destruction of of the rule of law.
They REALLY don't find defendants innocent when there is undisputable evidence, beyond a reasonable doubt that the person did it. 34 counts by 12 people is 408 times those people said "GUILTY." Take it elsewhere man. Other people went to prison over it-Donald was just the last one to go to trial. He is guilty and was absolutely voted guilty by 10 men and women.
I was call to Jesus at 45 years of age - I never wanted to be a Christian because of the hypocrisy a lot of Christians I knew. It was only when I started reading the bible for myself did I realize I was wrong and Jesus was the way . What I see happening in the USA regarding Trump as gift from Jesus and a lot of Christians believing it this is going to turn unbelievers even farther from the word of God - I wonder if this whole event is ment to be. I pray this division and hate will open our hearts to truth.

She also posted Ecclesiastic 10:2 about the right and left heart with a saying in parentheses that the right wing and left wing are not the same. I kindly pointed out I didn’t think it was supposed to be political. That’s when she put up about being more MAGA. What a shame.

not worried about whether there's a future judgement day for these people. They create their own hell and don't even realize it. they don't know what they're missing out on, how full your soul feels when you're living for others.
I've always loved that concept. If I recall correctly, Lewis used it in The Great Divorce (I've only read selections from that) and it's the primary underpinning for the joke about Heaven and Hell both being banquet tables where people are fastened into their seats in such a way that they cannot reach the food by hand and the utensils have such long handles that they cannot bring the food to their mouths. In Hell, everyone is starving and mean but in Heaven everyone is healthy and chattering away with their neighbors because they are busy feeding the person opposite them.

This is a philosophical statement of great clarity and universal validity. Good people follow this psalm instinctively.
God does have trumps back, trying to push him into repentance. It has taken along time, but trump just keeps resisting, and the lessons just get harder and harder.

I have been praying a lot 🙏 because since 2016, I have been thinking about what was wrong with the christians with and about Trump's subject. I even left the church I was in because they were one of those who accepted his ways, and I can't accept that. At one point, I was hopeless, but lately, I have found some pastors who are teaching the true Jesús words. Be blessed all of you, and let's continue praying because we need to humble ourselves and ask for God's mercy because what is happening is really unbelievable.
That lady you mention I think is the one who says God calls trump "His David" and constantly talks about "your enemies". I commented saying that HE wouldn't pit us against each other. HE wants us to love each other

When someone has been as corrosive and hateful as Trump, it would be reckless not to pay close attention. Doesn’t mean he’s beyond redemption, but I don’t see any signs of contrition.
I look at it this way... There was a recent movie, which sadly had to add stuff I felt detracted from it's message, but the movie "Don't Look Up" tells a perfect story of a vast group of people who choose to ignore an incoming asteroid until it is too late to do anything about it. 45 is that asteroid coming straight at us and many of us refuse to see it coming and a few of us are watching it intensely because, "Hey we can do something to divert this thing" and we are doing our best to let others know. The moral of the story is this: It's hard to not be fixated on something that spells ultimate disaster... if ignored.

Anyone who calls themselves a Christian and is not actively practicing the two commandments that Christ gave us personally in Matthew 22:35-40, they are not prepared whatsoever for Christ’s return.

Listening to you read the Psalm made me reflect on how I stand up to this standard. I can check off some of the boxes but not all. I am a work in progress. I am thankful for God's mercy.

I appreciate the conversations that bring us back to what we should have in focus as Christians. They don't just criticize Christians for supporting trump, but lead us to understand the better way.
Who does what is righteous. Tell the truth. Whose truth. What is righteous? The right thinks this describes them.

What Psalm 15 says are tenets that I was raised with, only without mentions of a deity. I am by no means perfect, but I'm proof it's possible to be a pretty decent person without believing in a deity.

I know people here in Canada 🇨🇦, I n my own parish who left the Catholic Church to follow another made up religion who put their beliefs in Julie Green. I know people here where I live who think Trump is the Savior, the second coming of God, geez, we don’t have to support this crazy guy here in Canada, I had to block friends on Facebook because of their beliefs in this dictator want to be. I pray so much since before COVID and ask God to help our troubled world. I pray for you our neighbours to the South so that God will make sure he never gets elected in November, 2024.
She is a false prophet. But that doesn't mean what she stands for to happen shouldn't have happened. She has a heart for justice that has driven her unfortunately. Doesn't mean she isn't politically right.

The Bible says a lot of stuff. Lay not up for yourselves treasure on earth, love your neighbor, feed the hungry, clothe the needy help the poor stuff like that the maga party will never adhere to. But it also says that God is not mocked and you reap what you sow. I would argue that harvest is nigh.
