Renjun trained for a year but he have been speaking korean since he was young since he lived somewhere near the korean border but still, its impressive that his korean is perfect. As for chenle, im honestly impressed by him. He needs a translator during debut bcs of his lack of korean skills but he improved drastically after a year and he keeps improving. He's so fluent now. I think he really is smart when it comes to language.
@@rose-ps8de oh yeah! i know the fact renjun living in are where most of people speaking korean and honestly i am surprised for chenle too! when he debut, he isn't that good with korean but after a year, he improved so much !!

Theres a vid somewhere called something along the lines of "Renjun pulling the foreigner card" and it's just a compilation of times where Renjun pretends/overdramatizes that he can't speak korean, 100% would recommend
This is exactly what happens when you learn other languages, you use to learn every rule, different from those who are native speakers that learn those rules just if they are interest in, cause they learn to speak and to write while growing up, repeating what others say, for example, i probably don't know any rule from my language, but i know how to properly write and speak, it is just like that, different from English that i probably know most of the language rules cause it's a language i learnt by studying really hard..
I know right!! I, a person who has been learning german, can explain to my friend who's fluent in german (Her parents are german) what wer're doing during our lessons and give examples and she can have no idea what I'm talking about :P
THIS! i remember the rules for speaking and writing in english (my second language), but spanish (my first one) is just something that's natural for me lol
@@tvpivm x2 I'm sure I can only name about half of all the existing verb tenses in Spanish (I studied it really hard but only for a semester in college), whereas in English I tend to nitpick at tiny conjugation or sentence structure mistakes -.-'
I'm so impressed with Chenle ! When you watch their videos from 2016 and he just arrived in Korea you can see he barely understood anything, but still did his best to participate, and now his korean is so good that he can correct korean members !
After watching Jisung use the wrong personal pronoun so many times while speaking, I feel happy knowing that even teens who speak other languages experience the same grammatical problems. My mother and brother are always correcting me, so, I feel you Jisung
can we appreciate that jisung helped chenle learn korean to a point where chenle went from barely being able to speak to being fluent and correcting people in the span of 3-4 years
Chenle and Renjun be like: this dudes don't know Korean. learn some Korean y'all why do we have to teach you how to speak Korean like- are we your ancestors or what
istg i still remember that chenle's korean is not that good when they debuted in 2016, but now he's correcting members korean T.T I'm so proud of him uwu
In Chinese language, there are many characters, and when I mean many, it very many, pronounsation is very important and even the Chinese themselves sometimes are confused and because of this Korean is easy for them because their native language is hard
I just can't with how jisung plays along like he admits himself a dumb *its only been 18 years since I learnt korean* *right, now you have to teach me* Idk if I should find this adorable or feel sad for him 😭🤣
Renjun, who is a Chinese, lives in Korea and speak Korean and IS fluent in Korean: **You should study more, your Korean is broken.** Also Renjun, who is a Chinese, lives in Korea and speak Korean and is fluent in Korean but when in crisis: **I’m...a foreign, I’m not good at...Korean....**
it seems like jisung has a habit saying me instead of I. i think it happens in english too like 'me hungry' and it's not grammatically correct. usually, the infant uses that. and yeah jisung is still a baby 😂
The Korean members are so relatable 😂 I remember getting a grade of 99 in English and just got a grade of 85 in my Filipino subject. I'm a pure Filipino and been speaking filipino ever since 😂
Chenle and renjun represent every bilingualist tho😂. We love using we don't know *insert language* cause we're foreigners all the time. But you'll find us correcting your grammar five minutes later. Another thing I've noticed is that we're more fluent when we're drunk🤣
You know what guys even though this is a funny video I just suddenly thought how the foreign idols must feel coming to a new country with new language, culture and people. Especially the Japanese and Chinese idols must have extra hard time because some Koreans bash them because of the political issues between the two countries. The boys must have got bad moments when rude people would have said ' if you want to be Kpop idol become fluent in Korean' Salute to all foreign Kpop idols
jisung "it's only been 18 years since i learned korean" me: yeah same! it's only been 17 years since i learned English! people don't understand the struggle 😩💀✋🏻
honestly as a native english speaker with a lot of international friends this is relatable. if i had a nickel for every time my venezuelan friend mocked my english i would move out of the US

I think his families are Chinese with Korean ancestor?, I remembered that he was once said on holiday he visited his relative somewhere in Korea.

he actually trained for 2 months which makes him even more of a superhero lets be honest
I imagine chenle in a sort of superhero training montage then, *BOOM* 😂😂
RIGHTTT when they first debut he was still kinda not as fluent but later during the comebacks he strangely became really fluent like wOW
What shocked me more is how can he be so good at dancing and singing when he only trained for 4 months WTH

when someone else speaks: "learn some Korean boi"
Renjun is either:
"Korean is hard, I'm a foreigner" OR "I'm Chinese, don't make me correct your Korean"
You forgot the iconic moment when renle placed first and second in the korean tongue twister games 😂
Where can i watch it??
And I think Haechan outdid RENJUN in a Chinese tongue twister game a bit earlier. 😂
