Great content. It’s just that I use the pulley in my physio sessions among other exercises. What I do with the pulley is I do stretch it. Like I pull until I feel like my arm is gonna snap then I pull some more but I don’t do that with every “rep” most “reps” I pull as far as I can and then I relax my shoulder and shoulder blade then I use my good arm to lower my bad arm. Now do I twist in a way that you just made an example of? Yes, but I’ve been focusing on my posture to reduce that “guarding” you’re talking about. Now when I use the pulley I’m not tensing up. And then most days I’m simply working on relaxing my shoulder and shoulder blade which sometimes feels weird because I feel my hardware inside my arm. My physio therapist was concerned about frozen shoulder for me but she’s less concerned now. I’ve naturally increased types of exercises not knowing they were actual exercises. My physio therapist is adding to my exercises for next session. I might already be doing those exercises lol idk will find out. Point being is, the pulley device is like 5% of my exercises and I work on relaxing my shoulder muscles when using the pulley which makes it much more affective with physio.
Thanks so much for sharing! So glad you are finding improvement already!
You are so amazing guys!!! ❤️
Appreciate you!
I've had frozen shoulder 2x (2009 & 2010). Both times I started with PT & ended up having to have surgeries to break up the adhesions, then back to PT for a few weeks. Both PT locations I was sent to, did the exercises you mentioned that cause you to cringe. How do you suggest a person find a PT person/clinic that does the right exercises the right way?
That is the million dollar question. It is so tough because every PT works a bit different and some are on specific protocols that their clinic or doctor has specifically given them. It is more work but I honestly recommend trying to contact the PT directly and ask them questions/interview them. Or going off of referrals from friends can always be good to
Love the content 👌🏾
So glad you enjoy it!!
What you have pain because of rheumatoid arthritis when you do ROM exercises?
It is still important to work through whatever range of motion you have especially to try and maintain or improve your ROM
our heart resposnse does not answer my question. Not quite sure how a heart emoji answers my question. I wonder if you are a PT or even know anything about RA patients.
@@docjenfit I know that, but I really do not think your anwer is helpful. Can you demonstrate in a video and/or show different types of exercises for limited ROM due to a frozen shoulder?
You really helped me and inspire me. I actually created a similar channel of my own called (BeasTibsFit) because of you. Keep it up! =)
Aww appreciate this! Glad to have been of inspiration!
Please could you do a program for crossfiters? The crossfit market is bigger than the Calesthenics one(i belive😅). I would love to buy your program but I'm hesitant because I really want something targeted for Crossfit...
Not sure if we will do a specific crossfit program! I have had a lot of people like my Mobility Method because it helps them find their specific mobility deficits. This might be good to check out!
👍🏻👍🏻
