Muscle energy technique with a broom stick between the knees, pulling one hip up and one down, followed by ball squeezes between the knees gives some temporary relief.

I am currently suffering with SI pain. My provider feels it counternutate when I put leg to chest while standing. I have it both sides. I follow DocJen and practice breathe work to relax the nervous system. It works, the pain is still there but less "sensitive". Thanks Doc!

I was diagnosed with an L5 S1 herniated disc. It was originally noted as my IT band but Doctors said no its worse. When I strengthened my lower BODY muscles i saw a true change in the reoccurring pain. This was a good podcast!

i would love a podcast on pain/tightness at the insertion point on our outer hip area and how to stretch, strengthen, release that. i have that from an injury that was the result of not properly healing from that, and now this is the worst that i'm left with. Thank you

I just listened to this episode recently and it so resonated with me! I have been told this by my chiro and I love him. Jen, you mentioned that you have a bit of scoliosis and I do too! But I'm 60 years old. Any specific advice for an older person? Whenever I begin to lift weights again, I get pain in my back and "throw out" my lower back. I follow you and Dom and I do many of your little workouts and I feel amazing because of them. You have both given me confidence to start running again (slowly).

injury to mine from a back ward fall. Must have stressed/ stretched ligaments as sacrum is slightly twisted from the trauma? This is second time for me in a year. ( two different backward fall accidents. I think the area is hypersensitive but I learned from you that motion will help me heal. ( I tend to do too much exercise and activity) I will start gradually. Using both chiropractic and and physical therapy to help initially........then will continue on own with PT strengthening exercises.... ALL those muscles need help but they must have been weak to begin with......-( core, pelvic floor, strength in transverse abdominus, lower back, hips..)-having a hysterectomy and microdisectomy years ago prob. did not help - need to activate again.. Calm down and build it back up
