VEGAN SCRAMBLED EGGS! These are honestly unreal, taste just like the real thing! Definitely give them a try guys 😊let us know your thoughts in the comments! x
What kind of dairy free butter do you use in your recipes? Is that Flora? Isn't that margarine? I genuinely would like to know because I love your recipes, but have some trouble finding some ingredients. Cheers!
People will never know just how genius being a vegan is. The creativity surpasses like none other. Basically, anything meat eaters do we can do vegan.👍😉
I tried this minus the black salt (The vegan store didn't have it), added spinache and tomatoes. EXCELLENT. Mijnd you, I am not vegan and have never tried Tofo or even Tumeric. You guys rock!
I’m not vegan either and don’t like egg, but I’ve always been interested in scrambled tofu to see if I like that 😹 I don’t like bacon or steak either but do like the vegan versions so hopefully I’ll like this too ^^
Vegan scrambled EGGS recipe spring onion dairy-free butter melt butter and spring onion slices together keep heat temperature low Add 1 garlic clove minced or chopped, mix in with butter and onion stir in 2 TBS of Tumeric for color stir in kala namak aka black salt (has eggy smell) Use blender to cream a block of silkin tofu scrape into pan and fold into the oil turn pan down and start toast hand crumble some firm tofu into the pan and mix it all up Add black pepper and fold (stir) Serve with toast with non-dairy butter
I wasn't expecting anything from this recipe. But then, the careful spice selection and the cooking with silken and extra firm tofus for the right textures showed your attention to details. Thanks guys.
So I followed the recipe as I watched but I waited to use the salt as suggested by someone in the comment thread. Y’all. These are no joke. Thanks so much for the video!!
When I make my scrambled tofu, I do exactly like this, but instead of using silken tofu I add soy yogurt until it's at the desired consistency. I bet this is delicious too, but it feels like using yogurt is cheaper and easier
@@etnica1999 Mine's simple, so aside from turmeric I use garlic powder (or real garlic if I'm not lazy), black pepper, salt, kala namak, and a small pinch of sugar. Also fresh basil on top
@@etnica1999 Ok just make sure you use firm tofu as well, if it wasn't clear in my first comment ^^ I crumble the firm tofu first and fry it and add yogurt after, not before like they did in the video
Omg i just tried it and it was amazingly delicious.. when i saw this recipe i didn't believe it would taste so much good as i have tried other vegan egg recipe and those were not upto mark. Btw I used soy yogurt in place of silk tofu and it worked just fine. It was soft like an egg. Loved it! Thank you so much ❤️
Finally a vegetarian/vegan recipe that works! My husband loves eggs but has developed an allergy to them. This recipe works! I only made a couple of changes. Since its not for a large group of people I used have a block each of the silken and extra firm. That was enough for two large meals. I added some chopped up mushrooms and used 1/2 tsp of turmeric instead of the 1/4 tsp. I added some onion powder as well. The balance of the recipe is the same. I did cook the entire mix for a while to get rid of the raw tofu flavour... boy it was good. He is on cloud 9. Thank you so much for this. I will have to see about buying your book! I wonder if you have recipes that actually work for vegan butter and a cheddar cheese. I buy these from the store because almost all recipes for these on RUclips are awful. Thank you sooooo much.
I made them this morning! Luckily I had everything in the fridge except the black salt. I added almond mozzarella cheese caramelized onions and mushrooms. So tasty!
This is so awesome! Simple with easy to find ingredients! I will need to find black salt though. Helping my daughter to transition to vegan. This would definitely help her.
Wow what an amazing recipe!! My daughter and I have been vegan for 20 years now, was always looking for something special to make in the holidays. Thank you guys!! Please share more of your magic.
I made these this morning. OMGEE! So good! My family loved it too. I will say I did add more kala namak at the end. My scrambles will all be made this way from now on. Thanks guys :-D
You are not kidding! They do taste like the real thing. I have made tofu scramble many ways and this way is the best. I won't do the other ways anymore. Beats Just Egg by far!!!!! I wish that you mentioned the amount of the silken tofu....but I guess you really want us to buy the book. I had an amazon gift card and purchased it! You will not be disappointed with this recipe!

Everyone, I mean EVERYONE in the world knows you don't use silken tofu in scrambled tofu. Everyone but you. This combination is genius and I cannot wait to try it! Thanks!
I used silken tofu once because I had a craving for scrambled tofu and it’s all I had. Every recipe I’ve ever used says used extra firm or firm, so I thought it would be a disaster but I loved it and will never use any other kind. But I find I need to double the amount of tofu to make the same amount because so much water evaporates. But when I ate eggs I liked soft creamy scrambled eggs.
I didn’t have any silken tofu to blend but done everything else, if no silken tofu I recommend tomato sauce on top of the tofu and toast.... Beautiful 🤩
Wow guys. I just found your channel and I love this video. First off, it’s the perfect balance between showcasing the host and the food. And I really appreciate how straightforward this was. No nonsense but still really personable and clear. The end result was something I cannot wait to try. Looks delish. I need to go out and buy some bread and silken tofu like yesterday!
It was really lovely guy's although I found that, for my taste putting a TBSP of black pepper in towards the end overpowered the dish however the use of silken tofu is totally inspired !
Yo I gotta try this never would have thought of using the silken! I have a pretty amazing southwest scramble on my channel I'll try it with the blended silken. 😎👊🏼✌🏼🌶
Now hold on a minute, guys.. I thought you knew.. Kala namak is temperature sensitive, so you must not add it when the heat is on. I feel almost like a Kala Namak spokesman - reacting every time it has been misused.

Thanks guys that was waay delicious than just plain scrumbled Tofu that I used to make. This one has a more eggy texture and taste. I put some vegan mayonnaise and lemons yummmm. I'll adopt this as my main breakfast 🤤
That's amazing! Iv'e only ever used firm tofu and added onion and spinach and put it in a flat bread and toasted it in a sandwich press.Your version I will make.😋

You dudes are awesome and you've done top work with getting vegan food into the mainstream. Buuuuuut .. just two things with this recipe. And no criticism of the actual dish as I'm sure it tasted amazing. * Oils weren't being released from the spring onions, that oil was from the processed, artery clogging butter. * Black salt should always be put in last as the flavour is greatly diminished in cooking. :)
I’ve been looking for a great vegan scrambled eggs recipe for ages. Can’t wait to try. Can this also make a vegan bacon and cheese omelette? Been craving one. If not, I suppose I’d get the fix by adding vegan bacon pieces and cheese to this scrambled recipe.
Made this today! Tastes just like real eggs with the Nala Kamak salt. I added it at the end to ensure the flavours were very pronounced. So tasty! Question: When you blend the silken tofu, do you press the water out of it first or just blend it? I pressed out about half the liquid but was wondering if I should not have done that. Please let me know. Keep up the great recipes. Really love your cooking style!
I did tofu egg not exactly this recipe... Mine turned out ok.... A 6-7 out of ten. I made eggs from jjuss egg brand . Omg it was 🔥 with added stuff on it!
No need to buy Just Egg at all. I didn't have black salt so I just poured nutritional yeast and half teaspoon of vege stocks, it went wonderful and it's really similar. also some dijon mustard is a good ingredient to add extra flavor.

Couldn't find silken in the supermarket so blended firm/extra firm with (unsweetened) soya milk till I got the right texture: worked pretty well!
Sometimes it's on the shelves near the tinned beans, pulses and tinned vegetables.
