Brenna I hope you realize the great free education you are getting by helping out on all the projects around the farm. I am old enough to be your grandpa and I bet you have more useful experiences than I have. Keep up the good work! 😊💪👷♀
Do you plan to water proof the outside of the foundation. If so you’ll need the room on the high end wall to apply, might as well go ahead and exhume it while you can without any damage later.
Adam, you may want to check with the block layer. 4 inches would not be enough room to work for me. Glad your daughter is involved. Thanks for sharing.

Don’t let Mike Morgan see your tilt bucket or he will want to “borrow” that too😂
I'd let Mike borrow anything of mine, he's a stand up guy!

Yes we will tar coat the outside of the walls and put up insulation board, that back wall is gonna be tricky.
May think about 6to8 inches from dirt on the walls, footers usually are 4to 8 inches or beyond the block work
Good point. Thanks for the advice!

Looks like the cribbing is sinking ? The house appears to be crooked !
The house hasn't moved, that is hard packed virgin ground they are sitting on. Very stable
