With Vector prime being added to the 13th primes,this proofs that the unicron triolgy did a lot of changes in the transformers lore
I mean, even IDW and animated draw some inspiration from Armada, and now vector prime is part or the lore of every new tf media one way or another, it truly was primarily Armada and cybertron that gave some good stuff to this franchise
@@michelecastellotti9172 there's some armada and cybertron characters that had appeard in the animated allspark allmenac like armada tidal wave and override and Vector prime(as Chris mentioned in the video) and the cybertronian plantes from cybertron (like volecitron) is getting a lot of love,and WE are getting cybertron metroplex,armada megatron and hot shot for legacy,and armada demolishor and cybertron scattershot did make an appearnce in the wfc 2010 video game as a dlc

I like to think that, despite not being a singularity anymore, all the different versions of Vector are aware of eachother and some have even met.
Tribe leader Vector must have lost when he realized every other version of himself was a god
The Ask Vector Prime page actually had an answer about this. They know that other versions exist. Memories of their time as a singularity still exist, but only in dreams that are half-remembered.

As a history buff who’s introduction to transformers was the Cybertron cartoon, Vector Prime has always been my favorite character

I feel like Vector Prime honestly should have stayed a multiversal singularity, given that his whole gimmick is power over space and time. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good thing they decided to make them all different versions, but I feel like therer should have been an exception for him personally.
Multiversal Singularities are stupid and restrictive. There is also the problem with the lore/setting of that period which basically stated that the sum-totality of all space, time, reality, concepts and existence revolved soley, entirely and exclusively around these transforming Robots. I think instead, Vector Prime should frequently be in contact with his alternate time-line counterparts.

I love Vector Prime and how he has many references to Doctor Who in Ask Vector Prime pages. The two time and space travellers must have met countless times.
I mean the AVP logo is literally just the doctor who logo but with the text replaced. They haven’t directly crossed over but both have crossed over with Star Trek so tangentially they are related in some way by that logic
I love the fact that the same voice actor that did Rhinox from Beast Wars did Vector Prime's voice. Gave me nostalgic feels.

As a Big fan of cybertron/Galaxy force,Vector prime was such a unique character,his design is really good but i wish if they put a Big effort to his alt mod in cybertron,i wish if other characters from cybertron Can get the spotlight like him

Vector Prime's death hit me hard when i first watched Cybertron as a little kid. Probably one of the first times I ever saw a character die in a show.
Also, a fun bit of casting is how Vector Prime is voiced by Richard Newman, who also voiced Rhinox in Beast Wars. Both Vector and Rhinox are old, wise bots who act as mentors to their respectives Optimuses (who are both voiced by Garry Chalk).

Vector Prime from Cybertron I feel is the de facto interpretation of the character wise stoic has that sort of Obi Wan Kenobi feel to him don’t think they could ever capture that energy again
He felt like someone wise you can talk to and approach while relating to… I feel like characters that tried to be like that afterwards didn’t pull it off well by making them too distant and mythical where there seems to be no equal to them that they can be casual towards

TF Cybertron is one of my favourite shows and Vector's role, development and sacrifice was great storytelling. Makes me wonder how the other 13 Primes would act and develop if they were placed in a similar role.
A nice headcanon that I prescribe to is that Victor Caroli, the narrator for the original cartoon, was actually voicing G1 Vector Prime as he recounted the events of the great war.
I loved how unique Vector Prime looked in the Cybertron cartoon his clockwork cog and gears gave him a real steam punk feel and I hope we get to see something like that again if he ever makes a reappearance
Vector Prime is an amazing character I remember seeing him since back from Transformers Cybertron
I do love how Cybertron Vector Prime’s face canonically inspired the Autobot logo. It’s a neat contrast to Bayverse The Fallen’s face inspiring the Decepticon logo.
Don't forget RID 2015's Megatronus
I like to think that Cogman from The Last Knight is the Bayverse interpretation of Vector Prime in disguise, especially since he's actually pretty powerful (I mean, *maybe* him being so strong as to tackle Cade *twice* throughout the film is a big indicator).
Vector prime has been my favorite Prime since he debuted. As a kid I never had his toy and it wasn't until recently that I was even able to obtain one since I was so picky about conditions when getting it second-hand.
I can't wait until he shows up again, and I hope it's in a big way

An animated show based on the Primes would be sick they should start branching out instead of doing Optimus vs megatron all the time I personally haven’t read the comics but I can imagine there is so much lore that would make excellent tv shows/films
The comics are almost universally better than the shows (except the Pat Lee issues...ugh) and honestly just straight-up adapting them into series would be the best thing they ever did.

One of my favorite toys and characters from Cybertron.
I would absolutely love a new Vector Prime late into Legacy or whatever comes next. I was just messing around with the original and was thinking about how I've never cared for the sound gimmick so if you removed that he could have insane articulation in his torso

If he gets released in Legacy, I can see Last Autobot (from Marvel) and Emirate Xaaron (from Marvel UK) retools getting made from that mold.
I have all three colors of Vector Prime Cybertron & Universe, I love that toy. I wish for a Legacy updated version of it.

I grew up watching Transformers Cybertron and Vector Prime is my favorite original character to come out of Cybertron.
Probably one of the most popular and the first member of the 13 prime we see before the 13 prime

Wow, I didn't realize Cybertron literally invented the character. I thought he was a vaguely established character before that and this was his first major appearance. It's really cool to see what kind of impact the Unicron shows had on the brand.
It deserves more recognition and a look back to a time of unique design and storytelling… but people will just say bad dubs, bad CGI and too Japanese or something
I really like how people are showing love to stuff from the early 2000s. Everyone hated this show and the star wars prequels when they came out, but now everyone appreciates them

@@DESTRAKON more unique and entertaining than their media probably… assuming they’re just talking about transformers since looking at things there’s been a sort of dip occurring since Prime ended and Prime itself was a sort of mess at times

I was born the same year the original movie came out. Love to go back in time to actually go see it live in the cinema.

This is the first time I’ve actually heard and/or understood the meaning of the “Power of the Primes” toy line gimmick.
It is only today, as I watched this video, that I realized Transformers: Cybertron Vector Prime was voiced by the same guy who voiced Rhinox in Beast Wars & Beast Machines.
I really prefer his UT design to the Aligned version. The aligned one is more messy than it needs to be IMO, also the Autobot face symbol inspiration I find cool.

I love vector prime because he was the first Saturday morning cartoon character that I really followed and connected with that died when I was a real little kid. Yeah I cried but it was an important death lesson for little me

Would be awesome to get a new version of Cybertron Vector Prime in the transformers legacy series. I know we’re getting a unicron trilogy Metroplex and an Armada Starscream. Would be nice to see the unicron trilogy get some love considering that Legacy’s whole deal is pulling from every corner of Transformer history.

Cybertron was my first Transformers series. As well as one of my first cartoons in general. And Vector Prime was always a standout part of it for me. His amazing design and grandiose voice meant he always held this great presence whenever he was on screen. That he truly was some unknowable, ageless being of endless wisdom and power. But over time, just like the other characters do, you stop seeing him as one of the Thirteen Primes. One of these mythic figures of legend. Eventually, he becomes someone much more important. Your friend. Which makes his death all the more heart-breaking. It was probably the first time I witnessed a character in a show die. And throughout the rest of the series, there's just this great hole left in his wake. One that's never quite filled (Probably not helped by the fact he's still name dropped in the opening to every episode).
Yet, with how his presence is still felt all throughout the remaining episodes, this idea that when you lose someone, they are in a sense still with you. That was honestly a lesson I needed. I think its one we all need.

somewhere out there is a universe where transformer life is the norm and cybertron is the only world with organic life. On this world Vector and the other primes were wizards and optimus is just some guy who decided to be a hero.

Vector prime was always my favourite character in cybertron I liked his knowledge of both primus and the universe and I liked that he was basically the alpha trion of the show with him being a mentor to optimus (which I also liked) also his death in the show was actually well done and a fitting way to end off his character with him sacrificing himself to save his friends and like the little speech he gives before he descends it may not be armada starscream levels of sad but I still liked it overrall I loved vector prime and I can definitely see why he has basically become one the 13 primes
A good idea for your next video is transformers who changed sides, from Autobot to Decepticon and vice-versa.

3:30 are we seriously ignoring that even in death Unicron Trilogy's Galvatron is still causing trouble? The fact his shade is battling Vector Prime proves that even in death, he's still incredibly powerful. You can do alot with that via Prose stories.

I think it can go further maybe that Vector Prime reval that all those versions were still mentally linked despite now being different incarnations of each other. That would be a cool idea to explore and salvage the singularity concept.
I like to think the singularity concept still exists but to a limit, cause there’s gotta be an entry point for their body to exist in whatever universe rather than just be there from the get go

Vector was one of those characters that really stuck with me from the Unicron Trilogy, and I always hope to see him again in some form or another.
i just bought online the japanese toy of transformers cybertron vectr prime, he has difficulty standing up and tend to fall backward but overall i'm happy to have him alongside titans returns alpha trion that i bought online along too
As one of the first fleshed out members of the 13 Primes he did a lot of leg work pushing the lore foreword. I remember asking my uncle questions about the 13, the Fallen, and all this stuff not realizing it wasn't from G1 but was being written at that time.
Meanwhile, your poor uncle is as confused as I am when hearing about the 13 Primes and such. "What do you mean? No, the Transformers were built by the Quintessons and Alpha Trion basically lead the revolution."

Imagine if Vector Prime was able to converse with his various counterparts across the multiverse, despite no longer being a singularity. I mean, given their unique existence, the idea of Primus, Unicron and the Primes still being connected to their infinite counterparts in some way would make sense.

Lastly out of the Power of the Prime Pretender toys, I bought Vextor Prime/ Metal Hawk! The toy store had half of the cast for sales but I was only interested into buying one of them! Went with him cos Metal Hawk look the coolest and his gun mode "kinda" goes well with Trigger Happy!
Technically it wasn’t. In Japan (where it was known as TFM Galaxy Force) it was a standalone series. I first watched it in this form and honestly felt it was much much better as an independent series rather than forced into being the 3rd part of a trilogy where all the “connections” were paper-thin.
The shows were separate, despite a few sloppily-added dub-only attempts to pretend otherwise.
Both toy companies wanted otherwise, and kind of pretended they got it, but show canon should be up to the people who made the show.
Currently it’s considered a sequel however it wasn’t initially made as one… however even that doesn’t seem true, Cybertron has many moments that almost feel like they’re in the world of Armada and Energon like the unexplained sinking of Atlantis possibly tied to the backstory of the Star saber (heck a recent watch made me think the land sea war between the Star saber and Skyboom shield made the Mayan civilization collapse since it’s mentioned it seemed they suddenly disappeared) the scrap metal in Cybertron reminds me of the terrorcons of Energon and the beetle terrorcons going feral and crazy by absorbing super Energon made me think that they festered in the underbelly of Cybertron and emerged in Cybertron as the Scrapmetal. Heck Megatron and Starscream returning with power over a Fire Dimension and Megatron’s unicron like design seem tied to the ending of Energon as well as the Black Hole which seems way too tied to Energon to NOT be connected. This just tells me that an outline was given to the studio to make but they took it to make something original when writing but at the same time they might’ve flip flopped since a character resembling Alexis appears in the last episode (a scene only in the Japanese version from what I read)
@HispasatBot that’s the most frustrating thing about this, I love the series to death and can see connections that don’t feel like a coincidence but how it was written it has many obvious moments of feeling narratively disconnected despite all the world connections
@HispasatBot I’ve got two pieces of information that might be able to make sense of the inconsistencies:
1) Officialy, the Unicron Singularity warped reality, causing all of those inconsistencies in Cybertron.
2) Even without that, you could tell yourself that Cybertron takes place in another universe, but the Unicron Singularity was caused by the events of Energon, so the heroes of the former are dealing with the latter dimension’s Unicron unleashing one last “screw you” towards all of existence.

Yes. Vector Prime needs to make a comeback. Especially for us fans who want to do stopmotion with him. I can already see him doing an anthology similar to Marvel's What If and other projects that stay true to his character.
