This is always one of my favorite vids of yours cuz sometimes I like to be meta but also just driving cars I enjoy
These vids are always GOLDEN. I fr went from DNFing msot of the times to comfortably getting Top 8 almost every race, just by using the Meta cars. I just need to learn the shortcuts because most of the times I lose a couple of positions to people who actually know the shortcuts, LMAO.
A total newbie to the Crew series and racing games in general - this channel has really maximized my newbie enjoyment of this excellent game - THANK YOU! BTW - I usually come last in the Grand Race - hopefully I'll do better after watching this vid! :D

Unrelated but I was seriously impressed by the noble m600 which I underestimated. I think it has the best sounding engine in the game and performs quite decently and I thought it wasn't pretty until I customized it and it looks hella dope. It's actually beautiful
NSX is crazy good - it's the definition of that oversteery car that feels easy to control with some simple tunings. Got myself consistent overtakes and P1-P3 finishes with that car, plus it's beautiful. S tier for me.

Only things I disagree with are:
In the Racing cat, the Camaro is definitely #1 as much as I would like the Gallardo to be.
In the Rally Raid, the Tacoma 100% deserves to be in that Top 3

What's the point of having 640 cars/vehicles if 80% of them are useless. Smh. Things like "Meta" ruin racing games BC it kills variety.

No such thing as meta. Just become good with ur favourite car. Ppl call weapons in Elden ring meta but ppl complete the game with the starter 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Dont worry, The meta isnt real in this game. It's just small technicalities. The amout of times I've destroyed opponents in a Toyota Tacoma is wild, yet it's not on the rally raid list
Every vehicle is different for everyone. Plus having all or a majority of the cars let's ya find out what ya do and don't like.
There are challenges in this game for cars I don't use. But I get used to driving them, knockout challenges, and then back to my originals. Just another fun or rage inducing way of playing the game.
Some of the players like to ride the cars and chill not all the players wants to get the best fastest car just to win
Street 2 is really tight, a lot of cars feel like they are near the top. Personally I've had a lot of fun and pretty good results with the Porsche 928. Akor's tune with minimal adjustments fits my driving style perfectly. Feels kinda like a de-tuned ZR1, might go into the viable category.
In the Racing category I would say the Corvette C8R is top tier. It's my favorite along with the 458 for that category.
The revuelto is a beast off the line.
Street tier 1 I use the Golf gti Dash edition. With a good tune i believe it can be much better.
This is the first time I heavily agree with a video from trigger
I like using the ford GT as a hyper car, it’s my dream car and I refuse to give up on it
Civic Type R for street tier 1 as well. I have won a few GR with it it is very stable and keeps up with the focus and audis
i love that car, the 2016 model
For drift I always use the McLaren 12C, I think has decent grip for tide turns and top speed it's good
That Mini Cooper feels awesome in rally raid
I feel that the amg gt3 is definitely an underrated car for the racing section it's very good.

I believe that the VW GTI Dash Edition should be in the meta above or next to the RS2 Avant in the Street tier 1as well as the Mustang Boss 429 Lime edition. They may not be as fast from the line as those that are on top of the list but when they get going, they get going. The Diablo GT Street 2 is also Meta.

I personally like to use the Ferrari f40 for street 2 it keeps up and handles fantastically. You'll never bump into the wall

C8 Donut edition in ST 2 is really good also. Ive won may grand races with it.

You should check the Proto Concept Spear Racing (AGP). It's very grippy and smooth in the turns, one of my favorite AGP cars to race with. It may not have the highest acceleration and top speed, but I always make up places in the corners when in Grand Races. I got plenty of wins with it. It at least is a viable option. If you have that car, it is an crew 2 exclusive, than I recommend giving it a try!
revuelto deserves to be on the best category of hypercars, that car is a beast based off my experience.
Ive been destroying rally and rally raid with the mini coop. Easily top 5 every race.

Have you tried the gtr outclassed edition.. its as good or better than the haru ed
Personal favourite car makes are Audi's and Austin Martins. They're not the BEST in pvp, but they are solid vehicles after pro tuning

I like the Countach in the Hypercar more than the Revuelto and Reventon.
What I was wondering. Do general affix and pro settings carry over to grand races? I don’t think so but I’m not sure. Does some know this?
U should add a category called "Meta" or "OP". This is one car that is simply the overall best and easiest car to use for any skill level.

@@leonwatson1974 lol, yes. But ppl say these cars aren't OP. Cento, Huracan and C3 are basically the most OP things in their classes, they have no weakness and super easy to control... It makes grand racing super boring IMO.

Do pro settings work in Grand Races?
For racing class I like the Koenigsegg ccgt. It handles so well. Maybe that's just a personal opinion.
For street 1 the boss 302 like John wicks is very good
If anyones looking for a different car that is still viable for Grand Races i would suggest the Koenigsegg Regera, it has good handling and insane top speed, only the acceleration is a little bit below average but its really good

You should add the Bugatti Chiron Supersport was my first Hypercar and is my favourite because it is fast and they are very easy do drive
They need to buff all motorcycles in the next update just so it can be faster in the grand race
The square body style, 2012 dodge challenger SRT-8 cuz it’s best out of the demon and hellcat in the grand race tbh that’s my personal opinion

I personally feel the street tier 2 AMG should be ranked higher. Once it hits top speed/cornering at top speed, it just skates past people.
It’s VERY good. Maybe deserving of a higher rank…next GR meta video it will have more of a shot because I’ll have much more time behind the wheel. :)

Been loving the F8 over Cento, just feels better and crazy top speed so if u end with hypercar on highways ez W, just tends to slide a lot. XBOW is so underrated for racing too

@@mnjoli4891 I don’t know exactly but payed for itself within 4 days (a few hours a day) I think it’s like 20-30 sub 5th grand races and your in profit and that was a few months ago but depends on if you have alternatives I was using the free CCGT or Mini Cooper for racing category and the F8 wasn’t in game when I bought it 😊

@@James-miller Well I just started playin TCM(jan) and completed most playlists except Sb playlist to get a feel of the game. then i started playin GRs and i was terrible at first but i've just recently got the hang of it all and usually finish the race as before that would never happen and the pay is sufficient ranging lowest 40k-72k and the average being 50k. perhaps the only reason i'd buy the cento is to finally win a GR. usually i panic whenever i'm in the lead and end up doing something stupid or most commonly some1 rams into me which i'm still havin a hard time to deal with because lets say i'm side by side with someone and i bump into them, how come they barely move sometimes but when they bump into me, even the slightest touch will send my car flying? ive resorted to holding the brake which helps stabllity wise but i lose speed yet when i bump the other players their cars seem to be more stable and they don't lose speed.
another thing, sometimes they may be going on dirt and i'm on the tarmac and still manage to be ahead of me yet when i'm on dirt my car is significantly slower than the rivals car and they easily catch up.
The miata is actually pretty good, but it just takes tune
You need to check out jeep moab quicksand I would put it up there with evo2 I like it better than evo2

As an addition to the rally raid section, is anyone tried out some motorbikes? I dont know which one of the bikes but some random player just smacked us (i was in a tacoma and friend in a Z4 - kinda allways top5 finishers we are) soo badly even in turns just gaining distance. Maybe that bike deserve the best missing spot ;)
I wish the La Ferrari was good for HyperCar. I personally think it’s so ass for the grand races it just does not handle well at all

The funny thing is how Front wheel drive cars have the weirdest handling physics ever like the 2021 Honda Civic for example, how do they oversteer if your applying power to the front wheels. Arent they suppose to understeer? Also the fact how when you drift a FWD you take corners a little too quicly judt by angling? I see this funny though lol i was almost gapping 2 Audi Rs3s in a grand race but sadly I got too cocky. But eh its fun lol.
What is gutter steering?
It's when you put two wheels out of the road on the inner side of a corner. It makes the cars turn faster.
It's named like that because that's what Takumi does In Initial D. He put two wheels in the gutters to turn faster.
I feel like they need to drop the old Toyota Supra down to S1 because that car is just bad which breaks my heart because it's been one of my favorite cars even before fast and furious made it popular

The Hoonicorn is only Drift-Meta for the top-speed highway layout, it's not that great in any other layout. Drift-Ferrari is the most meta drift car in the game.
I hope they rebalance the cars instead of just making new cars meta and keeping the older ones the same. That or rebalance the categories
Even better, make the car perform as well as their real life counterparts. The Jesko should be the best HC, not the Agera.

Good god..God... how is Diablo dropped. That thing is a cake walk. Learn the gears to sit on and car can cut areas easily where others will slide. And it gutters? Whaaaa happn?
gotta disagree with tha t SL63 only being viable, def one of the best cars if not a close second to the huracan. same with the f12, def a contender. a bit slow off the start but fantastic everywhere else. and theres just no way the lambo revuelto isnt in the top 3, def the best hyper car under the bugattis imo and the agera r bloody slides out so often def under all these cars to me. not sure what youre doing different
