Nice. I'm not the only one who thought of the Browncoats vs the Alliance when hearing about the factions.

What’s frustrating is that we are waiting for an announcement about an announcement!
What’s worse is that once we get it we will be waiting again just for the showcase!

Agreed, we are chomping at the bit. We’ve been waiting for any type of news for a long time now and given what Microsoft has done (the layoffs) I firmly believe the game has been ready to go.
The only release month that makes sense to me is the one with no Xbox releases. March. StarField is going to take the wind out of the sales and player count of other Xbox releases for sure because it is so high profile. They are still stating first half of 2023 on their website as a release window.
@@TheDutchTexanGames No way it's gonna come first half, they are clearly having problems. Best case it'll come October, most likely november.
@@caiooca5793 I honestly don't think they got problems other than figuring out where to slot it. But we'll see. If we don't get news soon a delay seems inevitable unless they want to hose another xbox release. I'll be disappointed for sure, but it is what it is.

I would agree. But Cyberpunk has been in the back of my mind. Sure, it’s a completely different game studio but I still worry. We need StarField to be a knock out of the park. Not just for StarField, but for all the games that follow it.

@@TheDutchTexanGames i wouldnt worry too much about the cyberpunk comparison just because of the fact that the devs for cyberpunk were rushed to release an overly hyped game where as the scenario is pretty much the exact opposite for starfeild 😎
4th Gen i7 with RX6800 has to be the neckiest bottleneck of all bottlenecks
Actually, it runs pretty solid! So much so that it cured my desire to build a new PC at the time I bought it. I went from an R9 390 which was a bottleneck for the CPU to a GPU that is slightly bottlenecked by the CPU. I could run higher res than I do now to unload the CPU some too but 1080p is good enough for me right now.
Apparently they don’t even have an internal release date yet. Also waiting on Cyberpunk’s DLC but nothing in over a month.

I love Cyberpunk too. But the original game was pushed back so many times during it’s release the DLC is taking a back seat. And then there is the fact the ending wasn’t really the type I enjoy.

My character will be a jolly beefy chunky daddy Chef, because i like to identify with the character i play. Any faction that pays well will do and the ship has to be a big hauler named red dwarf.
Hahaha! That is going to be awesome! I love how people come up with their characters and what to make them look like. I will always try to take the moral high ground. But credits are credits at the end of the day. And if you need a job to keep flying? A job is what needs doing, no matter what it is.
@@TheDutchTexanGames Well, i am an old roleplayer so character creation is in my blood. I do however love the concept of a capitalistic santa character.
@@Gremalkin1979 I actually did some LARP back in the day believe it or not. RP (both in person, in text or in game) are all things I have done. The only one that really remains nowadays is gaming however.
Going by the Game Reveal Trailer, I'll be selecting the following traits.
Freestar Settler, Bounty hunter and Industrialist.
I'm hoping Industrialist will most probably aid in Ship construction.
I'm hoping we will be able to join the Ecliptic Mercenaries.
That is one I should have addressed too! Freestar and Bounty Hunter seem to apply to my mindset as well. But the third one I am unsure about. I want to be able to build ships like the best of them but there are a lot of other worthy traits as well. Combat Medic allows for more weight carrying capabilities… And if I am Lone Rangering this thing again? That will probably be it.
I'm betting like Skyrim, and Fallout 4 I will be playing it on everything, Xbox series X to start though 🥰

I have seen the rumors, unless there is an official tweet from Bethesda I am not holding my breath. One thing is for sure though, we need to get out of this information drought. We're in a release window.

@@MrDizzy19 to be honest im expecting a big part of the delay for the games release was in order to optimize for console players 🙌
